*Clang!*
A clicking sound echoed in the battlefield, but more importantly, it was followed by a rumbling sound. The ground crumbled, creating a huge crater right after the sound.
"!!!" Both of them were surprised.
'He can match my strength?' The devil furrowed his eyebrows.
'His power is extraordinary? Now that I think about it, the devil has stronger power in raw force because of their constitution. It seems I need to go all out.' Alex narrowed his eyes and thought once more. 'For now, I need to seal my Spirit Crown and Space Elent along with my spear because they are my trump cards and can be said my identity as a forr Spirit God.
'Swallowing Heaven is a Divine Technique, so I believe I can finally release its full power right now. The sa applies to Dragon and Phoenix Aura. After that, I think the only things that can fight against him are Mythical Spear Cannon and Triple Draws.'
Alex was really at a disadvantage because he didn't have many Divine Arts he could use right now.
"For now…" Alex leaped back and stretched his hands to summon a dragon. He felt a very distinctive control for this dragon as he felt he could move the dragon by his thought alone. This would really help the control of this ability.
At the sa ti, he should be able to gather enough energy to the mouth of the dragon and spit-up an attack. Alex smiled. "Swallowing Heaven."
"Phoenix Aura!" That was not all. The Phoenix Aura appeared and coated his body before it moved toward the dragon, covering it with a layer of armor made of fire. "Go!"
The dragon flew toward the devil while roaring.
The latter only glanced at him and waved his sword, releasing a green sword wave. The mont it hit the dragon, it turned to a torrential wind that was supposed to rip the dragon into pieces, but… What he got was exactly the opposite.
Alex's Swallowing Heaven ate the Sword Wave and burned the wind until nothing left.
"What?!" The guy leaped toward Alex and struck him again, trying to see if he still recklessly controlled the dragon to kill both of them at the sa ti.
And it turned out it was true. Alex was crazy enough to have the dragon swallow them, albeit it stopped because the devil already escaped.
"I see. To think my opponent is a Pure Fire Elent. This is a very rare elent to the point I can't see how such a person is unknown." The devil narrowed his eyes, trying to probe any information from Alex.
Alex only smiled. "You are going to die anyway… Just like those people who saw my Pure Fire."
The devil raised his sword and waved it down, creating multiple wind blades while wondering whether Alex was bluffing or serious.
The dragon kept chasing the devil until, at one mont, he disappeared.
"To think I need to use this technique this early." The devil had dodged the dragon and appeared right on top of it, slicing down his sword to cut the dragon.
It was supposed to kill the dragon at this point, but Alex simply smiled. "But unfortunately, I have seen soone faster than you."
The Phoenix Aura ford a shield on the dragon body that blocked the entire attack before channeling it in another direction.
The dragon stopped, and its head spun around to swallow the devil, but the latter already prepared and struck his sword.
It was at this ti Kai suddenly appeared right behind him. He waved his sword toward his neck, trying to send it flying.
The devil gritted his teeth and released his wind to move his sword faster than the limit, striking the fang and the sword almost at the sa ti. He used that montum coming from the two attacks to gain a large distance between him and Alex.
'This is a tough opponent. If I go all out, the other Gods might appear to help , so I should buy ti instead. It's not like this is my fault to begin with, so nothing to be ashad of.' The devil took a deep breath and raised another type of stance.
Alex narrowed his eyes. This purple devil was wearing only pants. It had similar features as a human, except the fact it had a third eye in the middle of his forehead, making him a bit creepy.
He used a long green sword that matched his tall body, which was two tis Alex's height.
On the other hand, Alex was using a sword that he randomly picked from the storage.
'Don't worry. I have been maintaining the advantage, but this way, he might call the other devils. I don't know about the battle between Gods, but if they are like what I thought, this battle might be big enough to create a wave of energy that could be felt by the entire world. In that case, I should kill him first before the others notice it.' Alex took another deep breath before sending his Swallowing Heaven again.
The devil disappeared again before Alex found him at the sa place. He was trying to cut the dragon again, but Alex didn't let him.
It was at this ti the devil finally showed one of his tricks as the Divine Energy around his sword flew in another direction. Just as everyone thought his sword would hit the dragon, but the real attack was that wind.
Alex prepared to intercept that wind before finding sothing was wrong. The wind blade itself was coated by many layers, and he realized what he wanted to do.
The wind blade kept penetrating the dragon. Those many layers were to exhaust the Pure Fire, so it would not be able to adapt the entire system with the new fire clashing with it. That is why my strength can hit it. Just make sure you adapt first, see the information, and fight a grand battle. And sohow destroyed the dragon.
Alex appeared again before him, striking him from behind. But the devil seed to understand where they were attacked.
"!!!" Alex tried to retract his sword at the last second because he found the little gesture coming from the devil. And it turned out he was right. Before he could do anything, the devil turned around and slashed his sword.
"Go away!" The devil launched Alex to the ground, creating a huge crater. He released a few Sword Waves, trying to injure Alex heavily.
Seeing so many Sword Waves coming toward him, Alex pulled his sword and shot out a huge laser to the sky.
"Mythical Spear Cannon."
It engulfed all the incoming Sword Waves, allowing Alex to regain his ground. He then summoned another dragon and charged together with it.
"It's useless. You won't be able to beat ." The devil swung his sword again after killing the dragon, trying to pounce Alex away, but Alex had another trick this ti.
Three Swords from three different directions suddenly appeared.
"What is this? This attack is weirder to that of a few monts ago!" The devil sweatdropped.
"Triple Draws!"
The devils struck the first one and decided to shift his body to avoid the other two. He gritted his teeth, not allowing him to be trampled just like that. His arm was still on the move toward Alex's stomach.
"!!!" Alex activated his Phoenix Aura to create two layers of armor to block this attack, but he was still blown away by this fist in the end.
However, the devil didn't escape unscathed as he just realized that his hand was bleeding all over. So spots were even charred black.
To think Alex dared to trade the injury with another injury. He must be confident in inflicting greater damage than him, and it turned out it was true.
Alex didn't really sustain any damage while his hand was covered with blood.
Both of them seed to have the sa thought as they leaped at the sa ti. They had a few hundred clashes within a few minutes, creating crater after craters in every single attack. Alex kept track of his battle and could already picture the incoming reinforcent.
Leoz seed to have killed all the lower level devils and waited for Alex to finish his fight. At the sa ti, he observed the surroundings to make sure there was not an ambush around.
Knowing he didn't have much ti left, Alex thought for a mont and searched for a way to beat him before reinforcent ca. He thought about calling Leoz or other spirits, but he decided to fight alone because he wanted to get used to his Divine Body's strength. It sounded dumb but necessary for him.
He ended up trading another few hundred blows with the devil.
His body got many injuries, but the devil seed to be a bit worse.
Still, it had been thirty minutes since the start of this fight, so he believed he didn't have much ti left.
'I need to beat him imdiately.' Alex gritted his teeth when a thought ca into his mind as he cursed, 'I think there is no choice. This is the best thing I've got in my current state.'
Alex summoned his dragon again, doing the sa trick.
"Hmph! The sa trick won't be able to get again. You are boring. I think I don't even need help from other people to finish you before fighting that guy." The devil snorted while swinging his sword to stop Alex's sword with the sa Divine Art. However, a sudden gust of wind slowly enveloped him as if he had done with this boring fight and wanted to kill Alex right now.
Albeit, he didn't realize Alex suddenly used another Martial Art. There were a Space Elent and other things in the mix, telling him that he had been holding back this whole ti.
"Do you think I am only this much? You are overestimating yourself." Alex grinned and finished his swing. "Fighting you is hard, especially at my current condition. If I have a few more Divine Techniques, I believe I can beat you without this, but I don't care anymore. I don't want to be surrounded even before completing my own objective, so just die."
His blazing sword released a Sword Wave that destroyed everything around the area because of that Space Ripple.
"Three Purities Slash!"
"!!!" The devil, who t this slash with his sword, felt an overbearing pressure that would lead to his demise.
The wind around his body got distorted and burned to nothingness.
"Impossible!" He exclaid in surprise. "I have created a few layers of wind to ensure that the Pure Fire won't be able to burn them simultaneously… Why? Wait! This is… Space Elent!"
He finally felt the fluctuation of the Space Elent rippling around his wind. Due to the distortion, Alex's Pure Fire slipped past his wind, burning all layers of his wind.
Alex's Absolute Blade Intent didn't manage to cut through the sword but was able to crack it. It seed he only needed to upgrade it to Absolute Blade Divine Intent, and he would be good to go. Still, with the Pure Fire and Space Elent destroying all the devil's defenses, the sword attack was finally connected.
"No!" The devil scread as he felt the energy coming to him and slashed his body.
The blade still cut the ground and burned the sky as well. And if one took a look at their surroundings, it was practically a disaster. If this were the Fire God Clan City, it would have been destroyed thrice.
*Pant pant!* The sword touched the ground, supporting Alex to not fall. This was the first ti he used this much Divine Energy after ascending and to think he would already use eighty percent of his Divine Energy. This was insane.
It would an that he needed around half of his Divine Energy to kill an opponent at the sa level. Even so, he still needed many Divine Arts to consolidate his attack power, and that would be what he was going to work on from now.
Alex looked at the aftermath and glanced at Leoz. "This won't be good. Deal with that portal now!"
"Yes, Master." Leoz nodded and clapped his hand as the lightning covered his body.
