552 The Reason Behind Trials
Alex and the others couldn't really see the person who fell, but judging from everyone's chain reaction; he could predict that the first one had fallen.
'Master, do you want to reach there?' Sherry looked at Alex with a confused expression. Seeing how Alex usually behaved, he would surely want to observe what happened so he could prepare.

Alex furrowed his eyebrows before realizing the similarity. In the Phoenix Trial, he was asked to walk for who knows how long. Then, he would need to fight an enemy that slowly beca stronger and multiplied. However, this trial didn't bring stronger and multiplied enemies. Instead, it gave them an enemy called pressure.
He also felt that there was a certain opening for the second stage of the Dragon Strengthening Technique. It was like a gate inside his heart made a little opening. Judging from his prediction, he should be able to open it in around 900th planks. He didn't know how significant the effect of each plank was though.
'Trial?' A thought flashed on his mind as he stared at Stina before asking, 'Stina, what is the purpose of all trials back in the previous world?'
'Human Race is Adaptability, Elf Race is Elent Manipulation, Dragon Race is Strength, Angel Race is Heart, Naga Race is Soul, and my Phoenix Race is Will.'
Alex fell into deep thought before realizing what the trial was. 'I see. This is why the six trials are like that…'
'Master? Do you realize sothing?'
'This is the manifestation of the six trials, and it might be the reason why the six trials exist.'
'I couldn't understand you this ti. I know the six trials only exist after the Supre rule the world. However, I can't relate it to this trial…' Stina tilted her head, confused.
'The energy is attacking our body, brain, and Spiritual Energy. I will just explain it in a simple way. I will start with the Dragon Race Strength Trial. With how the energy attacked our body, the Dragon Race wanted us to prepare our bodies. Increasing our strength also ans our body is getting stronger and won't lose to this kind of attack.
'Elf Race Elent Manipulation Trial… I am not sure about this, but it must be like we can use our fla to help us in blocking the energy attack. This would surely relieve a portion of our burden. We can just see whether the front group uses their elent, and we will know the answer.
'Then brain… I am assuming it is about ntal Energy, which is related to the soul. Although the soul trial is pretty useless, it shows the proper way to use the soul. And more importantly, it still couldn't be used except by having a strong soul.
'Then, Angel Race Heart Trial. After releasing all of your ntal energy or soul. You would feel exhausted, and your consciousness would beco blurry. At that ti, you might even hallucinate about many things. This trial prepares you for a strong heart so you won't hallucinate or whatever.
'Finally, after getting attacked by many things. You would surely be fed up with it, albeit your Spiritual Energy would slowly be chipped away. This is what it ans to have adaptability. I didn't finish this trial though, so I can't say much about it.
'And lastly, even after being brutally wrecked by those things. Do you still have a will to persist?' Alex didn't say this only to Stina, but also to Sherry and Kyle.
'I see… So the missing pieces are the scepter, Dragon Strengthening Technique, and the keys. On the other hand, the Supre actually has trained you to enter this trial by using those trials… To think he has predicted all of this.' Stina couldn't help but impress.
'Nah. I am sure the one who made this was an old man from your trial.' Alex shrugged.
'You an the Fire God?' Stina closed her eyes before opening it again with a shocked expression. A few thousand years ago, the Supre indeed went inside the Phoenix Gate after getting permission from her husband. It should be at that ti he discussed this trial thing with the Fire God.

She shook her head in amazent, never expecting this to happen in a few thousand years.
'You know what, Master… I feel like I am glad to join you right now… Maybe the first reason is Kyle, but this ti I really wish to walk alongside you as your contracted beast.' Stina suddenly kneeled and clasped her hand politely. She looked at Alex with a genuine but severe expression. 'Let us aim for the peak, Master.'
Alex only smiled and nodded his head. 'Yeah.'
This action surely shocked everyone because they didn't know a single thing about this. Even Anna was clueless about this, forcing soone to get back to the card for the mory and told everyone about it. Unfortunately, Anya shook her head, stopping her since it was better to give him privacy and believe in him.
In the end, she could only sigh and let him do whatever she wanted despite the worry in her heart.
'All right. I finally figured the trial out. As long as I am careful, I can do this. Also, I hope you three aim for the 1000th planks and don't give up midway. After all, you have a strength advantage by being a Phoenix and a Celestial Fox. I don't need to tell you about the Elent Manipulation, mind, and so on. That's why, do your best, and we shall reclaim everything in this trial. As for the after effect, I will handle them.' Alex smiled.
'Yes.' The three quickly nodded.
'Let's continue then.' Alex nodded and turned around before starting to walk forward.
The trio walked beside him, enjoying the breeze of the pressure.
