532 Fla Heating Lotus
"Bring it in."
After hearing the order, a beautiful assistant walked to the platform, bringing the first item. The first item was a red-colored rock containing fire energy. It could increase one's fire elent slightly but not at the level of Elental Gems like Fire or Wind Gem.
Alex had no interest in that stone and turned his head. "Your father... is a bit special..."
"Pfft." Song Yu chuckled. "I hear that a lot."
"Even my grandfather is complaining about his attitude. Still, he is a great father, who won't sacrifice by using a political marriage, and a great patriarch."
"Hmm... Sounds like a good father."

"How is she compared to Evelyn and Rose?"
He shook his head, refused to answer. Though the answer was clear, he did not want to compare them in front of others, and Song Yu could understand that.

The item was not really that good, so it had yet to reach the level where he needed to asure the money with Spirit Gems."
He only closed his eyes while waiting until the Fla Heating Lotus. "I should co a few hours later..."
"Haha... It seems nothing can fancy you other than lotus." Song Yu smiled upon his bored look. She stood up, fixed her flower embroidered short dress, and moved her chair closer to him. "You can cultivate to pass the ti. I will wake you up later. There should be around four or five hours before the lotus even cos up, considering it is the last item."
Alex took up her offer and closed his eyes. "Thank you."
"Sure. This is my job after all." She glanced at Alex's face and thought, 'Huft. You said luck, but I don't believe it myself. Despite how you look, you surely have practice harder than anyone else. I even heard you almost died a few months ago. If I don't have my background, can I beco soone like you? Free and unfettered...'
The thought of it was beautiful, but just like anybody else, she did not know what kind of experience Alex had. It might be a good scene on her mind, but treacherous on his eyes. 'Still, I am wondering what can drive you to go to such an extent. I heard you are chasing your wives... I am wondering what kind of person they are.
'For a person like you to chase them, they must be pretty, have good talent and beauty, and many more. I am nothing in front of them.' She sighed. 'To think I would help you by going back first... As if he did not hear her words, he opened his eyes and asked, "What is it?"
"Nothing." Her heart skipped a beat, wondering if Alex was just playing dumb or not. Luckily, he did not pursue the matter anymore and closed his eyes again.
She busied herself with taking notes on what she needed to do after the auction ended and planning ahead.
Four hours passed by in an instant. Her father had auctioned more than forty-five items in a row without taking a break. Although it was a boring auction, the items livened up the situation. They had chosen the item carefully so as to grasp the attention of all influences and loose cultivators.
Blackwade Clan wanted to use this opportunity to amass money and search for any mysterious person nearby. This was like Ruben's intention when he asked Alex to co to the Blue West Clan, just in a different way. Unfortunately, except Alex, he found no genius or mysterious person that he could invite to their Blackwade Clan.
Of course, his effort was still rewarded by finding Alex alone and his desire to take down one of the first-rate influences. "After all, it is a rank 7 dicinal ingredient and a very rare one on top of that. I doubt even Heavenly Continent has that." She explained.
"I know." Alex nodded before thinking, 'Now that I think about it, I never get any item from the system that can help my Undying Fire Body refinent... System, do you have any of that?'

"..." Alex almost chuckled when he heard it. Seeing how the system did not want to admit it, she purposely said it was an Ultra Ultra Rare item, which was impossible to get.

Considering this ability was only for Pure Fire Elent, he could sohow relate to the difficulty. Still, figuring out how long it would take him to refine all of his body, his mood went down. "Sigh..."
Song Yu tilted her head, wondering if she should wake him up a bit later. "I am sorry. How about you cultivate again? I will wake you up when the Fla Heating Lotus is up."

She could show herself to Song Yu since she had t her. Though she did not reveal her human form to avoid her from knowing she was a bit different from other monsters.
"Besides, marrying will just create an endless stream of problems for you. Just take a look at Evelyn right now. I might not be there when you need the most, so it's better not to get close to a person like . Besides, I am also a bit skeptical about this thing." He stretched his hand to Sherry as she ca to his lap, sitting comfortably.
"Indeed. Still, to think Sherry has beco a 6-Star Martial Emperor monster, my pride hurts." She laughed after saying half-joke and half-truth, brushing the matter off.
"Wuu." She puffed her chest proudly, acting like she could not talk.

No one was surprised by the yellow barrier's appearance as if they had seen it a few tis.
Finding a doubt on Alex's face, Song Yu explained the array slowly. "This is a rank 6 barrier array that is placed to prevent anyone from taking a precious item while we are still auctioning. Though we don't really need to do it with my father as the host, it seems he wants to have a double layer of protection.
"You are going to bid it, right? Do you want to bid it?" Song Yu asked.
Alex pondered for a mont before saying, "Sure. Just don't rip off, alright?"
"Haha... I don't want to be hated by you, so don't worry. As a daughter of a rchant family, I know how to bid it."
"Actually, I take that back." He just observed the last few items and noticed that despite having a staff from the Blackwade Clan, they did not ask them to bid on their behalf.
Considering the relationship Song Yu has with the Fire God Clan's young master, it would be better if he bid it himself. This way, he could avoid any trace of jealousy and fight him with money alone.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. It's fine." Alex nodded before patting Sherry two tis in the head, signaling her to co back.
"Alright. I will just stay beside you. From my prediction, Fire God Clan only brought three million Spirit Gems. They had spent one million, so you should be able to win this easily."
"That's good then." He nodded, rose from his seat and walked toward the window without any change in his expression.
