"Aaaaahhhh!!!" Alex started screaming before rolling around on his bed because of the pain. He did not have anything to do since all he needed was to endure the pain, and his Pure Fire would do the rest.
It was another torture for him hat would end only after a week of pain. Luckily, he only needed to endure half the amount of ti he needed for his heart. From his knowledge, it was because his heart was acting as the foundation of everything, the process took slower than the others. At the very least, even if, in the future, he needed to endure this pain again, it would not be for too long.
After refining his ridians, he checked his body. It seed he could change his ridians into fire like his heart, but Alex found this not useful. He also checked his strength, and he felt he could exert thirty dragon strength this ti. It was not with the Immovable Step too.
From the information he received, if Martial Lord could get one dragon strength from each star, Martial King could receive ten dragon strength from each star with the lowest one would be ten dragon strength.
However, as expected, the best result for this refinent was his cultivation speed. It evolved once again.

Alex then ca out of his room. He was surprised to see his spirits were already gathered out of his room. It seed they had sensed his aura inside the room and knew he would co out today.
"Our preparation is complete," Anna said as she handed a card to him. The card was a green card with a bit of decoration on it. "This is a ticket for the ship that will go to the Nilis Continent next week."
Alex nodded.
Anna then said, "I have acquired information concerning Letizia La Scola. It seems Honda Sana brought her to the Northern Continent with her."
Alex frowned. "Why?"
"I don't know, but from Nelson's investigation, the request cos from her." Anna shook her head.
"..." Alex pondered for a mont. "Alright. We can forget about her for the ti being."
"Understood." Anna nodded.
"We are going to the Nilis Continent right now. What about Nelson?"
Nelson had gone to the Nilis Continent earlier so he could investigate the Brynhildr Kingdom as well as searching a perfect place for him.
He then recalled his spirits, except Anya who would take care of Sherry and Kyle, to the card, and went to the port city. He also got a report from Anna about what happened this month.
The biggest news about this was about Mount Hua Sect. After their several failures, the Mount Hua Sect was starting to decline as they were pressured by the other influences. And without Martial King, even other kingdoms could harass them as there was only one 10-Star Martial Lord in the Mount Hua Sect, Su Hua.
And because of their past deeds, the other influences were trying to destroy them to curry favor from Alexander Sirius and his Martial King friends. Because of the situation, Mount Hua Sect chose to beco a vassal of Heavenly Sword Sect.
Sect Master Xiang Bai also agreed to this and changed the na of Mount Hua Sect to Mount Hua Pavilion, the branch of Heavenly Sword Sect. The Exchange Pavilion was also changed to Mount Hua Pavilion to show their sincerity. Well, that Pavilion was not that good, so the Sect Master did not need a long ti to decide it.
Alex did not really care about it though, since he was only staying here for a little bit longer. He did not know whether he would co back or not in the future.
After several days of flying, he finally arrived at Port City. As expected from a Port, it had many huge ships on the shore. Alex could also see a huge amount of energy inside the ship. It looked like a Steam engine but with the Spiritual Energy elent. From the information, the speed could reach the speed of early Martial Lord flying, so it was pretty fast.
He entered the town and arrived at the dock. He just asked so random people for directions and arrived at his ship. It was a gigantic ship that was close to one of the biggest cruises on Earth.
He then asked one of the sailors and asked about the ship.
"How may I help you?" The sailor asked casually.
"I have got the ticket for this ship," Alex said while taking out the green ticket from his pocket. He made sure to take a look at his surroundings, making sure there was no potential trouble. According to his research back on Earth, there was always a ship arc where he t a troubleso person. Luckily, he did not find anyone this ti.
"Ah! VIP passenger. Respectable Sir, I am Shary. I apologize for not greeting you first." He suddenly beca polite.
Alex shrugged his shoulders. He rembered that Anna said the ticket was pretty expensive. Nelson bought this ticket and sent it through one of his subordinates. Well, half of his wealth was in Anna's hand, since she usually took care of Sherry and Kyle, especially filling their Spirit Stones part. So, Nelson must use those Spirit Stones too.
"So, can I board the ship now?"
"Of course, you can." He nodded furiously.
However, when he was about to take another step, he sensed trouble. He imdiately turned his head but did not find a person. Suddenly, he felt the ground was shaking and felt a bit of nausea.
Before he knew it, the sailor was already in the air, looking at him with surprise. "Ah, I am sorry. Please co to the air first."
Alex then leaped to the air and watched the event unfold. He realized this was an Earthquake, and this was the first ti he felt an otherworldly Earthquake.
He had experienced earthquakes on Earth but not as strong as this. This might even be more than 9.0 SR. Because of that, he imdiately looked at the building around the shore. They were swaying left and right but not destroyed.
"This must be your first ti to Port City. This is a normal occurrence for the fort city. The Sea God is angry and sends this shockwave to us, and with the power of this shockwave, there will be a very tall wave… maybe a few waves. That's why the building around this place has been reinforced by Hard Rock to make sure we don't need to rebuild again and again. Ah, you don't need to worry about the waves since a few Martial Lords are enough to destroy the waves and not let them approach this city." The sailor explained the phenonon to him.
Alex facepald. He wanted to complain, "Sea God my ass. This is an Earthquake, and there will be a Tsunami soon. If this was on Earth, the people were already running to the higher ground.
"Ah, this is another world. You just need to fly to escape from an Earthquake and send a few Martial Lords to destroy a tsunami. Yep, I should expect sothing like this." Alex sighed, holding this in his heart.
"Take to my room," Alex said.
"Understood. But it might shake again, so I need to suggest you stay outside for a while." The sailor explained.
"No need. I can handle that." Alex shook his head.
The sailor nodded and led him to his room. Since he was one of the VIP passengers, the room was big and comfy. At the very least, he would feel comfortable since the ship needed two weeks to travel there.
After guiding Alex to his room, the sailor said, "If you need any services, you can activate the crystal over there. And our staff will imdiately co to your room. Of course, we also have that 'Service.' You have the list on the table over there. The ship will sail in two days. Then I will leave you for now."
Alex nodded. He did not need any service, so he imdiately threw the list to the trash can. He looked at the window. He felt a few aftershocks and saw a few tsunamis that were literally destroyed by Martial Lord Cultivators. He just felt an Earthquake in another world was pretty anticlimactic.
