392 Kill Erol
"Gah!"
The scream imdiately filled the atmosphere. Evelyn and the others were shocked while Erol and the others had a smug face. They knew one of them was hit by the staff, and his head exploded from the sound alone. But when they saw who it was, it was one of the people from Mount Hua Sect.
Evelyn and the others could easily see it since they stood on the opposite side. But for Mount Hua Sect and Zhou Kingdom, they needed a while just to realize none of the mbers from Heavenly Sword Sect or Rainbow Flower Sect had died.
When they realized that, they imdiately looked at their surroundings and found one of their teammates had just died.
"Theo, what did you just do?" Erol imdiately shouted at Theo.
"You don't know anything…" Theo said slowly as he shook his head. He looked at Erol with a pity. "You think you know anything, but in fact, you don't know a single thing."
"What?! What do you an by that?!"
"You think we don't know who killed the Kasmanan Family, Makmur Family, as well as the forr Royal Family?" Theo said coldly. "Yes. We already knew he was the one who killed them. And so, as a new royal family, we need to maintain our stability so the kingdom won't decline. That's why we won't choose the sa path as the previous Royal Family."
Erol and the others really did not know. They did not know the true terror of Alexander Sirius. It was when the Ministers started investigating what happened to the royal family. At that ti, they got a single ssage left by Nelson. It told them that it was just a warning, and if they wanted to target him again, their families would not be the only ones, but the entire kingdom would be killed.
The ministers realized the timing after they checked the battlefield. They realized that the battle only took a while, and before they knew it, the previous royal family had been massacred. It was very clean but very deadly.
That was the reason why Theo asked them if they did not fear the retaliation of Alexander Sirius. Seeing how confident he was, Theo knew that Erol had underestimated the man called Alexander Sirius.
Because he had beco the new royal family, he knew all of this. His family circumstances were the ones that made him change 180 degrees.
Even his father, the king, along with his ministers, decided not to do anything against the man called Alexander Sirius.
If Alex died in this competition, it would be good. But if he did not die, then the only thing that would co to their kingdom was demise. Besides, even if they helped them in routing the Heavenly Sword Sect, they did not get anything from it other than a promise to put on his words to the elders on how Alexander Sirius would die.
Of course, his father had expected sothing like this. So, he left his token to Theo. If they truly ca, Theo would need to inform him by activating his token once.
At that ti, his father also activated the token once, which ant they would need to help Heavenly Sword Sect instead of offending them. They could only do it this way since they could not talk with his father or the others.
That was why Alex or the elders could not co to Evelyn and the others to advise them on sothing. And that was also the reason why Erol could walk easily and incite the other teams with his plan.
Sadly, his plan imdiately failed because he did not know what it ant by living in fear.
The mont he killed one of the people from Mount Hua Sect, he shouted, "All people from the Southern Kingdom shall assist Heavenly Sword Sect and Rainbow Flower Sect."
"Understood!"
Theo's teammates imdiately nodded their heads as they took out their respective weapons. They released their Spiritual Energy and started engaging them.
Evelyn and the others were surprised when they saw this. They never expected the Southern Kingdom would help them. But they could not dilly dally any longer since the situation beca like this.
Even though she did not know why, Evelyn imdiately gave her order, "Kill Mount Hua Sect and Zhou Kingdom! I will take Erol's head."
Mina also gave the sa order to her teammates. They started engaging Mount Hua Sect and Zhou Kingdom. Mina and Florinda tead up to kill the captain from Zhou Kingdom.
Evelyn appeared in front of Erol and took out five swords from her space ring. It was Alex's Martial Art, which let him control twenty swords. Although Evelyn could only control five swords at the mont, it was enough to kill Erol, who was only a Martial Grandmaster.
"You are going to die!" Evelyn looked at him coldly.
"You! Don't push your luck!" Erol imdiately got angered. He never expected his plan to fail. "Mountain Fire, Spurt!"
The fla started covering his right hand as he pointed his hand toward Evelyn. He raised his hand and swung it down like he threw a rope that would entangle Evelyn. The fla suddenly expanded like a whip and tried to grasp Evelyn's neck.
Evelyn looked at the fire whip and just controlled one of the swords to beco the decoy. The mont the fla whip touched her sword, it imdiately stuck on her sword while trying to lt the tal.
She imdiately swung her sword as she aid it toward the fire whip.
"Seven Stars Cut(7-Layer)!"
The sword wave imdiately flew from her sword toward the whip. As one would expect from a Heaven Tier Martial Art, it imdiately cut the fire whip like nothing.
She then imdiately sent those five swords toward them.
"Just those weak swords won't be enough!" Erol snorted. He raised his hands as a translucent red shield appeared in front of him. It was a shield made of his fire.
"Ignazam Fire Shield!"
The swords pierced the Ignazam Fire Shield but could not break through it. Erol looked at her smugly, but Evelyn had made another move.
"Hmph!" Evelyn harrumphed as she swung her sword, "Pentagram Slash!"
"You won't be able to shatter my shield!" Erol shouted as he removed Evelyn's swords and started repairing the shield. It was his Martial Art, so the repair was easy. But before he finished repairing, Evelyn's Pentagram Slash already arrived in front of his shield.
Alex had imparted them about this, and since it was a Martial Art from the sect that he had sohow remake, he did not mind teaching her that.
Erol still looked smug even though he had yet to finish his barrier. After all, he had his confidence in his Martial Art. But unbeknownst to her, if it was Evelyn's style of training, she might not be able to destroy the shield.
Sadly, she had gone through Alex's devilish training, and Alex always emphasized one thing.
'Control.'
The five streams of light from Pentagram Slash flew into one spot, which was the hole that she made with her swords earlier. Erol might not realize the fact that Evelyn controlled her sword and pierced the shield right in the middle. And all of them went into one spot which made a quite large hole.
Using that hole, Evelyn controlled her Pentagram Slash and made them shatter Erol's shield from the inside.
"Bam!"
The mont those slashes crashed into Erol's shield, it imdiately destroyed it into pieces. Erol was startled when he saw his shield breaking into pieces. But before he could do anything, he saw a small translucent sword that ca through his shattered shield.
"What?!" Erol gasped when he saw that.
Evelyn only smirked as she raised her hand and made a grasping motion. "Sword Energy Bomb!"
"Boom-!"
It was the Martial Art from Thiveapia Kingdom. She had used this in the Outer Disciple Tournant. She could create sword energy that contained her Fire Elent inside and made it like a flying bomb.
"Argh!" Erol took the full explosion right in front of his face. Evelyn could not use her Seven Stars Cut to cut the shield since she just used it to cut the whip, but it did not an Evelyn could not do anything against it.
Evelyn just showed him that even without the most powerful strength, she could still shatter it with just enough control. Of course, it would be a different case if their strength difference was too far.
But, both of them were 10-Star Martial Grandmasters. Dealing with Erol did not pose any trouble.
When Mina saw this, he asked Florinda, who fought along with her, "With her power, could not we win a 3 versus 2 fight?"
Florinda only shook her head. "Her power is indeed sothing else. But she cares about us. Do you think our teammates or us would be able to fight a few opponents at once?"
"I might be able to do it, albeit barely. But the others…" Mina did not continue.
Florinda smiled helplessly. "She is truly a caring person. We might be able to win, but a few of us will die. But she does not want that, so she tries to win without having any casualties. She is caring… but I also have my concern about how long she could keep doing that. Well, I will just leave her education about that to that man, Alexander Sirius."
Mina only nodded.
After the smoke because of the explosion cleared, Evelyn could see Erol's face burned a bit while his upper clothes had completely burned.
"You slut! I will kill you!" Erol shouted in anger as he clapped his hands. Soon enough, a big fireball covered his entire body. He then shot out sothing like a laser toward Evelyn.
"Fire Grizzly Gun. Ten Percent!"
Evelyn looked at the intense heat radiated from the fire. She frowned a little when she saw his attack. She swung her sword and split the laser attack like nothing.
"Hmph." Erol only snorted and shot out another attack, "Fifty Percent!"
When Evelyn saw this, she was a bit surprised by his firepower. She imdiately released her thirty ters sword domain.
The sword domain started chipping the energy from the attack as she used another Pentagram Slash.
Those five slashes imdiately clashed with the fire. But she was surprised by the power of his fire. As one would expect from Mount Hua Sect's disciple, his control of fire would only be attained by those who were familiar with Alchemy or Forging.
The clash was equal as each attack destroyed each other.
"Fire Grizzly Gun. Full Power!" Erol attacked her once more. This ti, the power was powerful enough that would render her Pentagram Slash useless.
After seeing this attack, Evelyn only took a deep breath as she raised her sword once more. She said, "Fire, huh… I also have that."
The fire started hovering around her sword. As a fire user, Alex also trained this power of hers. After all, Alex knew how important to combine Fire and Sword Art. Of course, he did not teach her his Fire Phoenix Art.
"Seven Stars Cut!"
The powerful sword wave soared once again. But this ti, the sword wave was even more powerful as its power had been boosted by Evelyn's fire.
Erol still believed that the sword wave was nothing compared to his attack. Sadly, little did he know that this was the true Seven Stars Cut. Even the spies that had been planted in the sect had yet to know how powerful this sword wave was because they had yet to attain the Seven Layers.
The sword wave cut Erol's attack like a butter.
"What?!" And the mont he realized this, he tried to summon another attack.
Unfortunately, Evelyn did not let him. The swords that had been knocked off by Erol suddenly flew toward him from beneath him. The swords imdiately pierced his hands and feet, rendering him useless.
At that mont, Evelyn's sword wave arrived in front of him and sent his head flying.
"Hmph, if I don't care about my teammates, I can kill you a few hours ago. Your sche ends here."
