387 A Betrayal?
"Alright, All teams have taken their position. We will start the competition in just a minute. I am sure everyone can't wait anymore. Let us see each of their positions."
There were five screens in front of them. Each screen showed a different position since there were five mory Crystals scattered around the battlefield. Alex also had so knowledge about this mory Crystal since it was related to his Forging mory.
The mory crystal was similar to a cara on Earth. But to project it, they would need the Projector Crystal. After tuning both Crystals, they would be able to watch what happened on the battlefield live.
"Each team has arrived in their respective positions. So, without further ado, we will start the competition!"
As soon as he shouted that, there was a big firework exploding in the sky. Each team had been inford about this big firework as this firework was the start of their competition. And in the sky, they would see twenty five yellow balls floating in the sky.
"You can see twenty five yellow balls in the sky. They are symboling the position of each token. In other words, they would be able to find the tokens right below the yellow balls."
It was at this ti that five teams suddenly made the sa move.
"Oh wait! What is this? There are five teams that suddenly rushed toward the middle of the battlefield? From their position, they are Heavenly Sword Sect, Mount Hua Sect, Zhou Kingdom, Thiveapia Kingdom, and Hazel Kingdom."
Alex clicked his tongue when he saw that. It was like he expected. Mount Hua Sect and Zhou Kingdom would target Heavenly Sword Sect. As for Thiveapia Kingdom, Evelyn most likely had convinced them.
Since Thiveapia Kingdom knew how important Evelyn was, they should fight together with Heavenly Sword Sect. However, what he could not understand was the fact that Hazel Kingdom joined the fray.
He thought the Southern Kingdom would be the one who joined the fray as he had bad blood with the Southern Kingdom. Of course, they already feared his existence, but this was another case. Sana had warned the people not to make any move against the participant. So, Alex feared they would use this chance to attack Heavenly Sword Sect.
To his surprise, Southern Kingdom did not move from their spot. It seed they were searching for the token instead of fighting the Heavenly Sword Sect. He was relieved when he saw that.
At the sa ti, he was perplexed why the Hazel Kingdom also moved toward the center. He thought it must be a coincidence since he never had any conflict with Hazel Kingdom. So, he ignored them first.
Alex contemplated for a bit. If it was a two versus two fight, they should be able to win, unless the Zhou Kingdom used their berserk Pill. But, it should be impossible as the other influences would suspect them for that Berserk Pill. So, Alex was sure that Zhou Kingdom would not use their Berserk Pill.
This way, Evelyn should be able to kill all of them since he was confident with her power.

Back to Evelyn's group, as soon as they saw the firework, they imdiately went toward the center of the battlefield.
After one hour was up, they were guided by soone to the battlefield. They had a few explanations from him, concerning the battlefield and the firework.
The mont they arrived at their position, they saw a yellow line. The guide told them it was the boundary of the battlefield. So, they would be fine as long as they did not cross it. After that, the guide disappeared.
Evelyn and the others imdiately went toward the center as planned. They wanted to et up with the Thiveapia Kingdom so they could fight Mount Hua Sect and Zhou Kingdom.
They ignored the token even though it would only take a few seconds if they wanted it. Regrettably, they needed to et up first so they would not get attacked by two influences.
Evelyn was the one who led them through the forest. And she ordered them to run through the woods instead of flying above the trees. She gave that order after considering the fact they would be spotted if they went over. The others also did not have any objections and imdiately nodded their head.
They arrived in the center before long. When they arrived, Florinda looked at the two yellow balls floating around them.
"Since Thiveapia Team has not arrived, we should get these two tokens first. It won't take too long, considering the distance between our position." Florinda said.
The others also agreed with her. But before they went ahead and took the token, they looked at Evelyn. They rembered Evelyn had beaten Florinda back in the sect when their team was ford.
Florinda's strength had increased by leaps and bounds ever since she beca the disciple of the first elder. At first, they thought she would be perfect to be the captain of their team.
Sadly, all of it changed after they t this person called Evelyn. She had shown her prowess in the Outer Disciple Tournant. Although she did not participate in the Inner Disciple Tournant because of her strength, she was indeed powerful as she was one of the first people who learned the Seven Stars Cut.
When they wanted to choose their captain, the first elder said Evelyn should be the leader. All of them, especially Florinda, were unconvinced at that ti. Florinda decided to challenge her into a fight, and whoever won would be the leader of this team.
They were astonished by Florinda's strength. She was already a 10-Star Martial Grandmasters even before the Inner Disciple Ranking Tournant, and the first elder already asked her to hold back her cultivation and trained her battle prowess.
Sadly, Evelyn also reached 10-Star Martial Grandmaster at that ti, and with the powerful strength Alex taught her, she erged victorious. Evelyn was not bothered by that. In fact, she was quite happy to see Alex get the recognition he deserved. Since she beca the captain of this team, she decided to win so she would not put sha in Alex's na.
With that thought in mind, they looked at Evelyn for a confirmation. Evelyn also understood they were here to win the competition instead of winning the fight. Evelyn nodded her head. "We will split our group into two. The first group will be , Anwar Daher, Hanibal, and Amazu Agu. We will get the token on our front.
"The second group will be Florinda, Yasmin, Kokonoe Shigure, and Elise. They will grab the token on our left. We will et in this place again in two minutes."
She was not shy in front of others anymore as she was able to call them with their na. And she did not need to use 'big brother' or 'big sister' again since they could not be compared to Alex or Song Yu. If Alex were here, he would be happy to see her improvent.
Of course, the others also did not mind about this. As soon as they heard her order, they imdiately nodded their heads and split their force.
They were moving in unison to reach the token faster but still carefully. Evelyn took the lead while the other kept observing the surrounding.
When they arrived, they found a small golden token tied into a tree branch. All of them imdiately recognized the token as this was the token that the Announcer showed them. Evelyn imdiately took the token and looked at her teammates, "We are going back-!"
"Well, well. I am afraid you can't do that." Just before they went back, they heard the voice of a young man.
When they turned their head, they could see a white-haired young man leading 15 disciples in front of them. The voice must co from the white-haired young man. And behind him, there was a brown-haired young man. Both of them looked very familiar.
"Erol from Mount Hua Sect and Nash from Hazel Kingdom!" Evelyn finally recognized them.
"Hoho… to think Princess Evelyn knows the two of us. We are really honored." Nash said politely.
"Hmph, To think Hazel Kingdom is joining this farce…" Evelyn snorted as she never expected Hazel Kingdom would also attack them. Even Alex, who was in the arena, was bewildered when they saw this formation.
"After the recent war where the Heavenly Sword Sect beca more powerful even after besieged by Mount Hua Sect, Thiveapia Kingdom, Zhou Kingdom, and Southern Kingdom. We thought the Heavenly Sword Sect had beco too powerful. So, we could not let you go just like this.

"Don't joke with !" Evelyn shouted as she took out her sword and swung it. "Seven Stars Cut!"
The sword wave imdiately flew toward the people from Mount Hua Sect and Hazel Kingdom. They imdiately tried to dodge the Sword Wave.
Evelyn imdiately shouted, "We are going to regroup with Florinda and the others."
They nodded and flew away.
"We are going to chase them," Erol said lazily.
Nash looked at Evelyn's and the others' disappearing back and shook his head. "It is such a pity. Even if they go back, they will find themselves situated between us and…"

Evelyn and the others were rushing toward Florinda. And by the ti they reached their destination, they could see Florinda, and the others had wounds on their body. Luckily, it was just superficial wounds.

"Riolet!" She shouted in anger.
She never thought the one she trusted suddenly betrayed her. And they joined hands with the Zhou Kingdom.
At first, Florinda t Riolet with his entire team, and they greeted each other since she knew they were allies because of Evelyn. Unfortunately, it was only her thinking when they were suddenly ambushed by the Zhou Kingdom. Riolet and the others even helped the Zhou Kingdom in wounding them.
"You! HOW DARE YOU BETRAY !" Evelyn shouted on top of her lungs. It was because she knew the Milian Family was the most loyal family that served the royal family. And when she saw him betray her like this, she was shocked beyond belief.
When she was just about to charge, Florinda caught her hands.
"Let go!" Evelyn struggled, trying to break away from Florinda. Florinda suddenly slapped her hard.
Evelyn was shocked when she felt the burning sensation on her cheek. She looked at Florinda in shock.
"Look at you! You are pathetic. Does Alexander Sirius never teach you to keep calm no matter what happens? Look at your state right now and look at the people around you? If you can't keep your calm, our eight people will et our end here!" Florinda shouted. The other people also gathered around Florinda and Evelyn while guarding them.
"I…"
"Our Hazel Kingdom won't kill you as long as you forfeit from this competition." Nash and the others also arrived.
"Hmph. Even if your Hazel Kingdom won't, the grudge between Mount Hua Sect with Heavenly Sword Sect could not be washed away with just a competition." Erol snorted.
