Alex failed every single ti. The second ti he tried, he thought he had enough preparation. But when he tried to kill the Wind Leopard with his Phoenix Claw. The Wind Leopard dodged him and landed a hit.
Because of that, his concentration on the rest of his ingredients got disturbed, leading to another explosion.
He fought the Wind Leopard again and again before finally succeeded in killing him. But when he tried to rge the rest of his ingredients. The Wind Leopard ruined it again with the last bit of energy from its will.
He was practicing this pill like mad. Every single ti the furnace exploded and forced him to go out. He imdiately tried it again.
At first, when he thought he could refine the Energy Pill after succeeding in refining the wind leopard. He failed again on the second monster core.
The second monster core was a peak Grandmaster Stage rhino. It was another type of monster core. He needed to solve the monster differently from the first one.
And it beca another loop of that after Alex managed to refine the rhino. Because he fought with only his Fire, Alex's options were limited.
Each ti, Alex would co up with a different way of fighting. Alex didn't know how long he needed to master this technique if he didn't have a Simulation Room.
If he failed, he could just restart it again with his Simulation Room. But for Alchemists who didn't have this god-like technique, they might get injured while fighting those monsters.
Unfortunately, the monsters didn't have a physical body. That ant, if they got hit by them, they might get an internal injury, which was more troubleso than a physical injury.
He might only master it after a few months, if not years. But it did not matter to him because Alex managed to learn it in a week.

After he got familiar with the monsters' will, he finally asked Anna for more Monster Core as he wanted to try fighting with as many as possible.
Alex was able to get a good grasp of each soul characteristic, which gave him a more profound understanding of the monster beast. He might be able to increase his efficiency in killing monsters outside.
Nonetheless, he could not afford to spare so ti to test that. He would rather practice the next pill, Ocean Mind Pill, than killing monsters. He didn't have much ti left.
At first, he wanted to make Crystal Skin Pill that could give him more strength. Considering his Muscle Tempered Pill, this pill should be popular. After all, the pill gave a half-dragon strength. Sadly, each person could only eat this pill once.
Alex chose the Ocean Mind Pill because Crystal Skin Pill was a mid 4th rank Pill. He didn't know whether he could make it or not, especially with the limited ti he had.
So he chose a safety path but still beneficial, which was Ocean Mind Pill.

Alex was refining ten dicinal Ingredients at the sa ti. From a blue herb, a green wooden stick, an orange fruit to a monster core. All of them were hovering around him while he was refining them. He refined them outside his furnace because he was purging the impurities inside each ingredient.
If he did this step inside the furnace, the impurities might combine with each other and disrupt the flow of energy. Alex didn't use this thod previously because the ingredients for each pill was not as many as this pill.
At first, he tried to separate them into two and refined the first group of ingredients then refined the second one. But he ca up with another possibility, which he refined it outside.
Although he was able to do this, it required a great extent of ntal Energy. If he were distracted at this mont, the refinent would beco a failure.
After a few more minutes, the ingredients didn't let out impurities anymore. Alex finally moved to the final phase, which was the rging process.
He tossed all of the ingredients inside his furnace and started refining it. With a constant fla from him, the pill slowly ford inside the cauldron.
"Form!"
A Purple Pill ca out from his furnace. He took a deep breath and pumped his fist after seeing it was a Perfect Purity Ocean Mind Pill.
He was happy because he did it in the real world. He had been refining in the outside world, not in his Simulation Room.
The mont he swallowed it, he didn't know why, but his nose could pick up the salt sea's scent. There was a deep blue ocean inside his mind.
He felt his mind and soul were strengthened by this deep blue ocean. He just enjoyed the feeling while refining the pill inside his body.
Alex refined the efficacy for a few hours. The image of the ocean slowly disappeared from his mind as he finally opened his eyes.
His ntal Energy, as well as his senses, got enhanced once more. He felt really refreshed.
Alex checked Sherry's and Kyle's condition. Kyle's cultivation increased two stars from his original 8-Star Grandmaster cultivation. It seed he would undergo his breakthrough before the Inner Disciple Tournant.
As for Sherry... Alex couldn't see a change in her. Alex then tried to check his spirits.

Alex looked into her brown eyes and said, "Well... Not really."

Alex hesitated in asking whether she was real or not. He had so many questions inside his mind when he beca unsure of this. After rembering his question, he decided not to think about it at the mont and just answered her question honestly.

The system girl was astonished when she heard that. She couldn't help but smile.
Her body started to disappear. She waved her hand on Alex while her other hand was on her back, pumping a fist to show her joy. She teased him before she disappeared. "I am glad you think that way. But the way you said it, it was like you are trying to hit , you know. Not that I mind it, though."
Alex was startled. He only honestly said how grateful he was. But she used that to tease him again. He shook his head helplessly as he couldn't complain to her because she disappeared the mont she finished saying those words.
"Not that she minds..." Alex smiled when he thought about that. 'What kind of system is she that could say sothing like that.'
