Alex kissed her on the mouth. It was his answer. He shouldn't explain his reasoning in this situation. He should explain with his mouth... literally. This kiss soothed Anna's heart.
Leoz didn't bother them, and he made sure that there were no soldiers that would disturb them.

"I will hold the two Martial Lords, Leoz and Fabio will destroy their formation. Jeanne should kill as many as possible. Vera and Greg will be our support."

"She can't kill us. Att-!" Just when they overjoyed because Anna didn't do any damage to them. The soldiers that got the butterfly on them suddenly felt sothing wrong. "I-I can't control my hand!"

Leoz and Fabio suddenly appeared in front of them. Leoz took the 4-Star Martial Lord as his opponent while Fabio took the 3-Star Martial Lord. Both of them blew their opponent away so they could fight one on one.
The Martial Lords were startled to see another two Martial Lords. They only focused on the beauties before and didn't care about the guys.
They had underestimated them by not looking at the guys.
The soldiers were startled after seeing both of their generals were blown away by them. But in that mont of confusion, Anna used that chance to send another wave of butterflies.
It killed dozens of soldiers again. Leoz and Fabio then went to their respective opponents.
"Attack! Attack her. Our generals will win. So, we need to focus on our job." One of the peak Martial Grandmasters shouted after regaining his composure.
The fight was going hard. Jeanne charged to the front, moving from one spot to another with breakneck speed. She killed the soldiers one by one as Greg will imdiately raise his shield in case she couldn't dodge the enemies' attack.
Vera beca a support to make their situation under control. She tried to restrict the soldiers' movent as Anna used her skills continuously.
After around an hour, they finally managed to kill their enemy completely. Leoz and Fabio also ca back after killing their respective opponents. They prevented their opponent from taking the blood pill. Alex thought they were going to have a hard fight. It turned out he underestimated his spirits as well.
He thought about joining the battles, but after seeing the situation where they obliterated their enemies pretty easily. He decided to watch the fight.
Anna ca back to him as soon as she finished. Alex couldn't help but say, "It seems I have underestimated all of you."

"Master, I feel that you should capture their leaders. We can get so information that way. Those Martial Lords seem enough." Jeanne said as she ca back with the others.
Alex pondered for a mont before nodding his head. He thought he could use illusion array to torture them first before interogating them. He misunderstood Jeanne's intention, though.
"We are going," Alex said to his spirits.
The spirits nodded and followed him to the enemy base.
As expected, the battle finished in an instant. Anna used her butterflies to open the battle. Fabio and Leoz then took care of the Martial Lords.
The battle strategy was the sa as before, but with the addition of Alex. With the help of Sherry and Kyle, Alex dominated the battlefield.
Not long after they finished the battle, Leoz and Fabio also ca back with the Martial Lords. Judging from their expression, Leoz and Fabio had crippled them.
"You... You monsters!"
"We are not monsters, we are spirits." Anna snorted as her True Spirit Body beca undone. Jeanne and Fabio also did the sa.
Alex didn't say anything. He only approached them.

Alex was startled. He thought since he was a Martial Lord, he should be able to withstand that. But, not long after entering the illusion array, he died. Alex couldn't understand. He was far weaker than he expected, or at least in his mind.
"Tch tch tch. Master, that is not a good way to get the information, you know. Let do the other one. I will surely give you the information you need." Jeanne suddenly ca to him and asked him.
He rembered when Anna said that even Nelson requested Jeanne's help to interrogate soone.

Jeanne then grabbed the other one and dragged him to a tent.
The other Martial Lord was afraid of Alex when he saw his friend died just like that. He didn't understand why his friend died. When Jeanne dragged him, he didn't falter. He kept his strong front, saying, "You are not going to get any information from " and the like.
But not long after he got into the tent, he started screaming like crazy. Alex didn't know what Jeanne did.

He beca even more curious when he heard that. When he turned around, he saw Leoz, Fabio, Vera, and Greg looked away. He thought maybe he shouldn't be curious about it.
"Leoz, are you going back after this? I think we are not going to fight tomorrow as the enemy might think we have killed the soldiers here. If they beco desperate, we won't know what they do." He changed the topic.
