One Slash, Anna killed the Water God. Despite being arrogant, the Water God didn't seem to be that strong. He might just want to put them down, so they thought he was strong. However, Anna and Jeanne knew they were weaker than him and couldn't win against him if they were alone, hence, they had no problem coordinating with each other just to kill him.
Anna straightened her back after killing the dragon and took a deep breath to calm her heart down. She felt tired. Her "Intangible Darkness Cut" took so much Divine Energy every ti she used it, so she felt she had no power left to fight against them.
"Jeanne, how are you?" Anna asked, checking Jeanne's condition. She believed Jeanne was in a worse state than her since she changed her attribute at the last mont.
Jeanne spat a mouthful of blood and dropped to her knees, feeling weak all over her body. She had been holding back this whole ti to make a strong appearance. Now that there was no threat, she felt everything left her body.
She looked at Anna and shook her head. "I think I will be fine. There are so internal injuries, but nothing will destroy my cultivation or anything. So, you don't need to worry. How about you?"
Anna smiled and answered, "I'm fine too. Other than several external injuries and exhausted Divine Energy, I have nothing else."
"That's good. Let collect our loot first." Jeanne chuckled and grabbed all of them while asking, "Do you think you can fight another one?"
"No, I don't think I can." Anna shook her head. "I will end my battle here and probably join the army to supervise everything. Besides, you should co with , so Silvia can check your body."
"Our doctor eh." Jeanne thought for a mont and sighed, "Yeah. I probably need to co with you. Although there's no recognition yet, I should start being polite to her since Master is going to marry her."
"Haha, you just need to act like normal." Anna chuckled before teasing her. "By the way, how about becoming one yourself? Pfft, the tenth spot is still open."
Jeanne smiled and shook her head. "I don't think I am qualified."
"Well, there are several people fighting for that spot. Hmm, let check, there are Aria, Rinrin, Carissa, and Rubia. I wonder who he will choose…"
"Master won't choose anyone in my opinion. It's just a hassle." Jeanne shrugged before looking at the north, "I wonder if Master is alright."

As Anna said, there were five other big battles occurring in this area. Unlike their fight, these five were one versus one, so it was impossible to get a number advantage. That was why Lin Xingzhi only sent the strongest ones among them.
And the first one was none other than the God of Wrath, Marcus, and Earth God.
Marcus's Wrath had been soaring this whole ti as he glared at the Earth God, who had transford into a giant black bear like the Battle God.
"Hahaha, to think we would have to et again, God of Wrath." The Earth God laughed uncontrollably, but Marcus could feel the mocking intention behind that laugh.
He gritted his teeth and shouted, "You're going to pay for what you have done today. I'm not the sa anymore."
"Yeah, yeah. Unfortunately for you, I don't think you're qualified to fight . That's right, do you know how the Goddess of Destiny died? When I was about to torture her, she sohow managed to explode her body. To think she would choose the easy way out…" The Earth God laughed. "I never thought she still had that much energy after using everything to let you escape."
Marcus gritted his teeth and released his killing intent. "You scum."
The Earth God laughed and summoned a giant asteroid above him, launching it like a bullet toward Marcus. "This is how I killed your people! They loved teor showers, right? I gave it to them! Hahaha, they hated the thing they loved right before their lives ended. It's hilarious."
"I don't know if you know about it or not, but since you've angered , I will let you taste what it ans." The God of Wrath beca even stronger due to the soaring anger.
The Earth God seed to know about it as well and purposely provoked him for whatever reason.
Hence, Marcus released all his power and controlled it to cover his fist. Seeing the purple black colored fla on his fist, Marcus jumped forward and struck the giant asteroid with his power, swallowing it and lting it like the previous one when they were still together with Alex and the others.
Surprisingly, the teor this ti was slightly different. The mont it shrunk a little bit, spikes erged from the asteroid like a sea urchin and ca out of the God of Wrath's power, thus popping out the balloon like power.
"!!!" Marcus widened his eyes in shock and got hit by the giant asteroid until it crashed to a Lower World, creating a giant crater that was easily visible from outer space.
Boom.
The shock wave of the collision was too big to the point the planet went sideways, leaving its orbit.
"Hahaha! That's it. You may get stronger when you're full of wrath, but your biggest weakness is the fact that you're becoming more foolish the angrier you are. I would rather fight soone stronger than a cunning one." The Earth God laughed.
However, the asteroid soon lted as Marcus's fla appeared and swallowed both the asteroid and the Lower World. Of course, he didn't have enough strength to destroy the Lower World.
He jumped out of the crater to outer space again and glared at the Earth God.
Marcus, surprisingly, beca calm as if the rock earlier hit his head so hard that he began to act weird. He took a deep breath and released a different type of wrath. This ti, it wasn't like vicious anger, but anger that ca from a deep calm sea that would swallow everything when there was a chance.
The Earth God felt sothing was wrong and released the sa stone to test the sudden change.
This was when Marcus showed his different strengths. He punched forward and released the black purple fla from a distance, enveloping the entire rock.
Surprisingly, when the fire hit the rock and was supposed to lt it, it didn't go that way this ti. Instead, the temperature beca even colder as the rock started freezing and the residual energy was pushed back.
"!!!" The Earth God narrowed his eyes and covered his paw with a giant rock, striking the asteroid with his hand.
Bam.
The asteroid cracked and shattered into pieces. As soon as he saw the opportunity, Marcus released his strength even more and swallowed the Earth God.
"Ah!" The Earth God gritted his teeth and blocked it with his hands, but he was already inside it until he summoned a giant rock shield and deflected the flow.
"I'm a fool? Maybe, but I believe you are dumber than ." Marcus snorted.
The Earth God narrowed his eyes and roared as loud as possible. An Earth Elental Disturbance appeared above him before the Earth God entered it and changed the shape from a huge ball into a giant golem.
"…" Marcus narrowed his eyes and felt sothing different from this one.
Surprisingly, the Earth God disappeared from the battlefield as Marcus turned left, finding that giant body next to him.
'It's that fast with its giant body?' Marcus was taken aback and punched the giant hand that ca to him. "Divine Wrath Fist."
To his surprise, the golem changed shape again and ford a spike on top of the fist. Not wanting to get pierced, Marcus dodged to the side and ended up getting hit by the flat surface, getting flown away.
He stopped and spat a mouthful of blood.
"Hahahaha! Now, now. Let's go at it again! Just like you, I will be destroying all your allies before helping my own King." The Earth God looked down on Marcus, still feeling that Marcus was far weaker than him.
"Is that so?" Suddenly, Marcus took out one of the mory crystals he had and activated it.
What made the Earth God surprised was the fact that the crystal showed the condition of his teammate. And when he saw what Sherry had actually done, for the first ti, the Earth God showed an expression of anger.
He clenched his teeth and glared at the Earth God. "What are you showing ?"
Marcus shrugged and acted nonchalantly. "Before the war starts, I've asked the others to bring a mory crystal so everyone can understand each other's situation. Unfortunately, I don't think you have the chance to win this."
The Earth God roared and charged toward him. "It will be different if I kill you first and head toward them."
Marcus smirked and said, "Oh, you still have a sense of camaraderie? How cute."
The Earth God obviously had sothing like that. After all, they stemd from one root, which was the best. Even a normal person would get angry if soone actually took their arm, let alone when they cripple them.
Although the Earth God was the Supre Beast's two hands, he could still feel anger swelling in his heart when the body and anything else got injured.
And this was what Marcus wanted. The mont he saw the Earth God's uncontrolled anger, he raised his hand and gripped it tightly.
"Wrath Control, Divine Anger."
Suddenly, a black and purple light appeared next to the Earth God. Yes, this was none other than the personification of the Earth God's wrath.
Marcus enhanced that power and turned it into an explosive ball, forcing it to explode.
"!!!" The Earth God was taken aback and flinched to the side, but it was too late. He realized that Marcus simply wanted to anger him. Unfortunately, this realization ca far too late.
Boom.
Marcus smirked and said, "I'm Wrath itself. Whenever there is wrath, I will be present."
What he did earlier was controlling soone's wrath. This was the result of his training. In the past, he only managed to influence soone's emotion and used his own wrath to attack. But after Alaya's training, he understood that he could channel his power and beco the Wrath itself.
Normally, the Earth God wouldn't feel anger toward him just because he got shown sothing like that. Yet, without him knowing, Marcus had been using his power to influence his anger, so his emotion was more sensitive to his provocation. This was the true art of emotional manipulation that he learned from Alaya.
He watched the Earth God spat a mouthful of blood and got blown away to the side while screaming in pain.
"How is the taste of your own wrath?" Marcus smirked.
