I’ve consud a considerable amount of Powers and Skills until now. So of them were acquired in the Labyrinth.
However, adding one 4-star Power and Skill each, plus one 3-star Power and Skill each, and even a 2-star Power on top of that, it was a bit hard to endure.
Of course, it wasn’t to the extent of being unable to scream like when I obtained the 5-star Power, Avatar of Love…but it was painful nevertheless.
The fortunate thing was that many of the Powers that were drawn had short and intense pain?
As I gritted my teeth and sohow endured, the critical mont passed quickly… The pain in my heart remained, though.

My mana is forcibly increasing. However, the amount is unusual. I thought I had significantly increased the total by diligently consuming Magic Herbs, but this is…
The pain is like sharp stakes protruding outward from within my heart. How many tis have I clutched my chest and groaned?

Co to think of it, the Gluttonous Stomach was drawn twice. Maybe that’s why it got enhanced and changed in various ways…
Let focus for a mont, and just like knowing how to move my limbs without being told, the effects of the Gluttonous Stomach co to mind.
It can store much more than before, digest faster…and everything that goes into my mouth tastes delicious.

Of course, the Gluttonous Stomach is also a Power of a dead god.
I didn’t set every single god, but I did vaguely set a few famous ones.
Naturally, I considered the major sins like the Seven Deadly Sins of humans.
The reason the Pan Continent beca a world where n and won are reversed is because the God of Purity and the God of Lust fought and annihilated each other.
If there is a god motivated by lust, there should naturally be a god motivated by gluttony.
To get straight to the point, the God of Gluttony is a god who died from having its stomach burst.
It would swell its power by devouring weakened gods alive or consuming the corpses of dead gods after long wars.
The problem was that the War of the Fallen Gods was more intense than expected, and the God of Gluttony was not a god skilled in combat.
To survive, he had to at least swell his body, and with his specialized power, he put up quite a fight.

The Power of Gluttony scattered across the continent of Pan, and the masterless force turned into rampaging monsters driven by instinct.
The Goddess of Love, when creating the Labyrinth, sealed away disasters with the gods, including twisted laws and the naless monsters born from them.
For now, there is no chance of encountering them, but deep within the Labyrinth, such encounters might happen occasionally.
It is likely due to this that Powers other than those of the gods buried in the Labyrinth appear in draws.
It seems that during the sealing process, Powers were also retrieved, and I speculate that the system refines and implants them into .
Anyway, the part that surprised is simple.
The common knowledge that the Power of a dead god, being literally the power of a dead god, cannot fundantally grow, even if it can beco more proficient or enhance its potency, was slightly denied.
To give an example with the Gluttonous Stomach, while it can increase the storage capacity or absorption speed by consuming divine power, anything beyond that would be impossible no matter how hard you try.
In simple terms, it ans that it cannot deviate from its ‘original purpose’.
But now, what is the situation? As a result of breakthrough through duplicate rolls, the Gluttonous Stomach has gained the ability to eat deliciously, surpassing just eating a lot and absorbing well.
Though it’s minor, it ans that the essence, which was confined to digestion, has expanded.

It’s easy to understand when an item is enhanced. It becos sturdier, more powerful, with various additional functions.
Thus, the Wrist Crossbow can now fire stronger arrows in rapid succession.
The Goddess Statue has evolved from rely being lovely to becoming a vessel capable of containing the Goddess of Love herself.
So, what awaits at the end of breaking through a Power?
I don’t know yet. But…I can make a few guesses.
Perhaps the Power will transform into divinity itself, or montarily recreate a myth.
Of course, it could be sothing entirely different, but one thing is certain: through all this, my body steadily approaches transcendence.
If the Goddess of Love still desires rest as per my setting, and thus wishes to establish as her proxy.
Isn’t this breakthrough system a preparatory step to elevate , who has built the stature of a demigod through the Labyrinth, to the rank of a full god?
Sotis, when I see the antics of the Goddess of Love these days, I wonder if she really desires peace or not.

What I need to do now is to beco stronger quickly and break through the Labyrinth.

I began to examine the other Powers and Skills while continuously devouring the sweetened Magic Herbs.
First, the newly acquired 2-star Power, Shining Eyes.
The effect is simple. It makes one’s gaze beautiful, allows adjustnt of the emanating atmosphere, and if divine power is infused, the eyes can literally emit light.
…It’s not like a beam. Just sothing like moderately bright lighting.
The brightness is roughly at the level of a lantern. With this, it should be fine even if I suddenly fall into a dark place.
Next is the 4-star Skill Sound-Eating Footsteps, which was drawn redundantly like the Gluttonous Stomach.
It’s the one I use the most, and it’s a beneficial skill that not only reduces footstep sounds but also makes my presence itself faint.
Although the basic stealth ability was upgraded by breaking through…there was sothing else that was really important.
It’s that my speed increases significantly while in stealth mode.
I don’t really know the detailed principle. I just cast it as usual, but my body moved swiftly as if pushed by water currents.
I can’t use it my whole life without knowing, so I need to investigate as much as possible…but for now, the speed increase during stealth is definitely aweso.
Even without knowing the principles, dozens of ways to use it are already popping into my head.

Nodding with satisfaction, I focused my mind on the Explosive Fla that had been the cause of my heartache.
Skills don’t have effects as intuitively clear as Powers, so you have to use them to understand what they feel like…
Unlike the stealth ability, Sound-Eating Footsteps, the Explosive Fla is clearly a powerful area-of-effect attack spell.
I definitely can’t use it indoors. I’ll try it out later in a secluded clearing or in the Labyrinth with Benny.
