Soverick's eye sparked and beca glazed. He found the second female battle sage monkey to be more pleasant looking the more he looked at her. He also felt that he has seen her sowhere but he can't recollect where.
He smiled at her. Then he said, "Interesting."
The other two didn't take her betrayal kindly.
"You bitch. I'll co after you forever no matter how this goes. You have made a terrible enemy today. Do you hear ? You have made a terrible enemy today" The first female promised vengeance with a loud angry voice.
The determined male was speechless. He couldn't believe his ears. It is true that the lady never indicated to follow them verbally. She just followed them up the mountain and is only now saying that she wanted to watch. Of course, he is not going to believe her. She is obviously lying. What she did is worse than cowardice. She didn't bow out earlier. It is until now that they need her the most that she is making her betrayal known.
He felt too stunned to speak but the fury in his eyes said everything that needs to be said. If he could, he would tear her apart with his bare hands but he can't. She is strong and they are also in front of the child of the plane. It will not do to embarrass themselves like that. That is if Soverick will be content with simply watching those that have co to fight him fight amongst themselves.
Soverick's single eye regarded them slowly. The playful smile on his face did not alleviate their fears. The male gripped his hamr tighter while the female readied her shield to block any attack from Soverick. They remained like this for a while. Silence returned. No one said anything, moved or made any noose. The only thing that could be heard is the howling of the cold wind on the mountaintop.
The female with pink fur and purple eyes had those sa eyes trained on Soverick except the eyes are shimring. She waited to see what Soverick's reaction will be.
Soverick asked them, "You have co to attack . When will you do so? Or are you waiting for to make the first move?"
His words made them realize that they ca to fight him not the other way around. It is foolishness to wait for him to make the first move unless they are very confident in their prowess and victory. Having the confidence to survive a single move of his will be very hard to explain as not underestimating him. Letting him make the first move is just utter foolishness. So they moved to attack.
The two of them took a step forward and froze when his single eye shone violet light. His multicolored iris turned into a Violet ring around his golden pupil. The two of them also flashed a violet light as if they reflected the light coming from his eye. Then their bodies exploded. They would have died but they were saved by the brand in their bodies.
Their brand protected them from further damage, took them away, healed them, and then spawned them sowhere else leaving their artifact behind. Their lives were saved but they are not unscathed. He took sothing far more important than their artifact from them. The violet light in his eye died down and he turned it towards the remaining female.
"Now what do I do about you?" He tapped his chin and wondered out loud.
"I am not an enemy. I am a friend and friends are kind to one another." Her eyes shimred brighter as she spoke.
Soverick's single eye shimred too. He nodded in agreent, "That's true."
She took his agreent as an encouragent to step forward. She watched his reaction but he didn't seem to have noticed her movent. So she said, "Kindness ans helping one another."
Soverick agreed with her again. "That's true too."
"It is the duty of a good friend to help another friend." She took another step closer to him as she spoke.
She continued to move closer to him as they chatted. Soverick's multicolored eye shimred brighter and brighter. It produced a faint pink light similar to the one in the female's eye. That pink light is about to overwhelm all the other colors in his eye.
She asked him. "You are my friend right?"
"I don't think so. Friends don't try to brainwash other friends." He disagreed with her for the first ti.
His reply startled her. That wasn't what he is supposed to say. He is supposed to agree with her and beco her friend instantly. He is not supposed to blurt out what she is trying to do. Her confusion cleared up as she watched his eye beco clear. She doesn't need to wonder what's about to happen.
"Oh no." She exclaid as she took a step back in fear.
"The law of illusion is it?" He asked her calmly.
She didn't reply. She turned and ran. Talking now will not save her so it is best that she escape for her life. Unfortunately, A field of nullification spread out from him and she froze. He clawed at her with one of his hands and activated gravity control. She flew into his waiting hand. His hand gripped her neck tightly. Then he removed the field of nullification.
She smiled even though his grip threatened to crush her neck. Her smile is very wide. It is obvious that she is very happy instead of being afraid.
"I've got you now." She said triumphantly.
A pink domain sprang out of her body and enveloped them both. The domain began to enter Soverick's body through his hand that is touching her. She continued to smile as she waited to see the reward for her efforts. She beca ecstatic when she saw his multicolored eye turning pink again.
She laughed and laughed. "Imagine it. The great and mighty child of the plane has fallen to . He has beco my thrall."
