The painted creatures of the god of illusion were still largely safe because they didn’t have a mind for the virtual body and the virtual copies to attack. But his believers were dying far too quickly for him to bear to see.
So as he asked this question, he used his ultimate attack move on all the virtual copies to erase them. He didn’t use it on the virtual body because he expected that without the suppression of the Storytelling divine ability, the cost of destroying the virtual body would be too much.
His ultimate move wiped out the virtual copies one by one. But this was for a while.

The difference in power between them and the god of illusion is not large enough for them to crush him easily. Especially since the god of illusion has the suppression force of the Storytelling divine ability.

Their virtual bodies helped them gain immunity through the Environntal Adaptation and the Offensive Adaptation divine ability. It was their virtual body that helped them gain immunity through the Death Adaptation divine ability.
It was their Death Adaptation divine ability that made the virtual body cost more and more divine energy to kill. It helped them to gain 55% immunity to the ultimate attack move of the god of illusion each ti it was killed. By the ti the virtual body died a third ti to the ultimate attack move, it had beco completely immune to it.
Their virtual copies, on the other hand, helped them increase their Offensive Adaptation to the god of illusion by 100% and helped to increase their Environntal Adaptation to both the suppression force by 100%. It was when this was achieved that Legion stopped letting their virtual copies die from the ultimate attack move.
Now that they had gained all that they needed, they created another virtual body and sent it to attack the god of illusion. The virtual body descended near the god of illusion and imdiately used a barrage of divine abilities to attack the god of illusion.
This ti, there was no stopping the virtual body. Its attacks tore through the outer bodies of the god of illusion. By the ti the god of illusion noticed that sothing was wrong, it was too late.
The suppression force was no longer working on the virtual body, so the virtual body gained the advantage of power over the god of illusion. Furthermore, thanks for the 100% Offensive Adaptation against the god of illusion, he power of their attacks against the god of illusion had doubled in effect.
The god of illusion asked himself as he struggled to escape, "How can this be?"
He was thoroughly and completely shocked. Not only had things reached a stage where he wanted to escape for his life, but he was even failing at escaping.
The god of illusion wanted to escape, but the virtual body grabbed him and held him down. Then the virtual body smashed his body while also attacking his mind. It was a combination of physical and ntal assault that the god of illusion couldn’t keep up with.
The painted god of strength rushed over to help the god of illusion, but the first virtual body held him back. This gave the second virtual body the ti to deal with the god of illusion.
The god of illusion used his ultimate move again, but it didn’t work. So he beca desperate and used his rank 3 Environntal Illusion divine ability and the rank 7 Clones divine ability.
The Environntal Illusion divine ability changed the whole world around them and made it seem like the virtual body was in a desert fighting a lizard, while the Clone divine ability created a copy of the god of illusion that was running away.
The combination of these two abilities made it look like the virtual body was beating up a lizard while the true god of illusion was escaping. This might have fooled other gods, but it didn’t fool Legion because they were immune to illusions.
Legion knew that the person they were beating was the god of illusion, not a lizard, so they refused to let go of the god of illusion to chase a phantom copy. This forced the god of illusion to use the Permanent Illusion divine ability.
The god of illusion created more copies of himself with the Clones divine ability and used the Permanent Illusion divine ability to solidify them. Then he had the solidified clones gang up on the virtual body in an attempt to free himself.
This move completely exhausted his divine energy. The fact that his believers were dying in droves all over the world without being saved ant that he wouldn’t be able to rely on them for help anyti soon.
So this move is his final ans of freeing himself. His solidified clones carry all of his hope for him to keep his life.
Unfortunately, the virtual body used the Mind Howl divine ability, which shattered the solidified clones. This made the god of illusion despair.
Since he wasn’t going to escape with his true body, he made the rest of his outer bodies escape as an avatar. This created an imbalance in his soul and caused the artificial souls to begin to take control of his body, but he couldn’t care about that right now.
