The sight of Legion-2 using the divine ability of an angel of undying made the giant smile and say, "So this is what you are relying on. You don’t think I can kill you, so you don’t think you have anything to fear."
He laughed and said, "Foolish. I’ll show you that there are worse things than death."
He was being confident and smug, but he didn’t dare to let Legion-2 get close to his body. After all, Legion-2 is a bona fide killer.
When he activated the Giantification divine ability, all the tentacles and cocoon around him were scattered. He also managed to create a large distance between himself and Legion-2. But now that he has lost his divine energy, he will be powerless to resist if Legion-2 gets close to him and resus the attack.
But first, he must solve the lack of divine energy. In order to do that, the god of guardians used the rank 9 divine ability of the pathway of guardians on him. This divine ability is called Life Anchor.
After the Life Anchor divine ability was used on him, the giant committed suicide. His body shattered, and his soul began to dissipate.
Legion-2 had to stop rushing forward because he didn’t understand what was going on. He was worried that there was a trick because he didn’t believe that the giant would just kill himself like that, so he stopped at a distance to observe the situation.
But as he watched, nothing surprising happened. The giant’s soul dissipated, leaving behind a shiny crystal. This crystal was the divine fragnt of the giant. Its appearance signified the death of the giant.
Legion-2 was still confused by the turn of events. But before he could consider going over to take the divine fragnt, the Life Anchor divine ability took effect.
The Life Anchor divine ability is a divine ability that ties the existence of soone to a guardian. So if that person dies, the guardian can bring them back to life.
So, in a way, the Life Anchor divine ability is similar to the Rewind and Restore divine ability. The main difference is that it can only be used to resurrect others, not the guardian. The guardian only serves as the anchor for the lives of others.
This Life Anchor divine ability is why the dessipated soul of the giant reford and the shattered body recovered. In the blink of an eye, the giant had recovered to its peak state.
He grinned at Legion-2 and said, "I told you already. You can’t win."
As he spoke, he activated the borrowed ultimate ability of the pathway of giants. This borrowed ultimate ability is the Unstoppable divine ability. It caused the body of the giant to begin glowing a golden yellow light.
The Unstoppable divine ability has one function, and that is to make its wielder unstoppable by any ans. In fact, any force that tries to stop or harm the user of the Unstoppable ultimate ability will only make the user stronger and faster.
When this ultimate divine ability is paired with the Invincible divine ability, the user becos an unstoppable juggernaut that cannot be stopped or hard. The giant did this and rushed at Legion-2 with reckless abandon.
Legion-2 struck at him with their tentacles, but they didn’t hurt him at all. They only made him beco stronger. Even their Life Siphon divine ability had no effect on him anymore.
All of this power ca at the cost of divine energy, but the giant doesn’t care about the expenditure of divine energy anymore. If he runs low on divine energy, he would just die and resurrect again.
He laughed loudly as he stomped after Legion-2. He even taunted them, "I told you. You can’t win."
Legion-2 activated the Phantom Escape divine ability again. This gave him a speed boost that he used to stay away from the giant.
But the giant was ready for this. He activated the borrowed ultimate ability of the pathway of guardians. This caused a bright white light to pour out of him.
The white light that poured out of the giant had substance. It was like a liquid, and as it poured out of the giant, it resembled a fabric.
The white and bright fabric spread outwards and covered the sky above Legion-2. When the white fabric descended and covered him up.
To Legion-2, it felt as if we were surrounded by rubber foam. Nothing he could do was able to dislodge the foam or harm it. Not even Phantom Escape was able to work. This surprised him very much, but things beca worse.
He realized that he couldn’t activate any divine ability and couldn’t transform into the divine form of the pathway of telepathy even if he wanted to. The white light was freezing him and compressing him on all sides, which made him begin to panic.
The only divine abilities that could still work were the ultimate divine abilities and the rank 10 divine ability in his possession. When he noticed this, he relaxed.
He stopped panicking because he didn’t think the god of guardians could seal him and prevent him from dying and resurrecting anymore. But he still didn’t stop trying to escape.
The divine ability that he used to try to escape was the new Environntal Adaptation divine ability. He funneled all of his divine energy into it was surprised to see that the white fabric was losing its effectiveness in him.
The progress was slow, but his body was surely gaining resistance to the white fabric. So in ti, he would beco completely immune to the sealing power of the white fabric.
The giant was also surprised that Legion-2 could still struggle. Usually, anyone who is covered by the white light will quickly beco powerless, shrink, and be absorbed into the authority of the pathway of guardians.
He tried to pull the white light back, but he was struggling to do so because Legion-2 was still resisting vehently. The more this was the case, the more astonished he beca.
