As soon as the angel of knowledge left, a demigod of knowledge with enough qualifications took over the available spot for an angel and replaced him.

This new angel of knowledge was the one that the possessed first angel of telepathy t when he ca to the white tower looking for Legion’s identity.

The god of dreams knows a lot about the world and its past due to his access to the dreams of the dream realm, so finding new information to deliver wasn’t much of a problem for him.

However, what the god of dreams was asking for was very difficult for the angel of knowledge to solve because the information about Legion didn’t fit the description of soone.

This wasn’t surprising since Legion was said to be an undying godclad. Undying godclads have their information protected by the Aegis Shield, so they are difficult to find.

Despite the difficulty of the request, the angel of knowledge was also able to provide helpful advice on how to find the current wielder. The angel of knowledge advised the possessed first angel of telepathy to perform a feat to impress the Mind Palace.

The first angel of telepathy was instructed to undergo the necessary process to beco a godling. But once the Mind Palace has been impressed and its attention acquired, the first angel should use a ritual to find its location instead of using a ritual to draw divine fragnts from it.

The angel of knowledge warned them, "This ritual can only be used once per feat. Once it is used, you will have to perform another extraordinary feat before it can be used to find the location of the authority again."

Then the angel of knowledge said knowingly, "The feat to draw the attention of the Mind Palace is to invade the mind of a godling and destroy part of their mories as an angel of telepathy. Take note that this feat will only impress the Mind Palace if you are not enslaved or possessed."

The first angel of telepathy heard this and snorted in dissatisfaction. Then he left in a huff.

It was clear that the first angel of telepathy wasn’t satisfied with the help he was given. It was really the god of dreams that was dissatisfied. This was because the thod he was given to find the current controller of the Mind Palace would require him to risk losing the first angel of telepathy.

The feat can only impress the Mind Palace if it is done by soone who isn’t possessed. So he will have to set the first angel of telepathy free and let him perform the feat without any ntal influence. The first angel of telepathy might try to escape after being freed.

The god of dreams snorted and said to himself, "Let see what the worst of what he can do."

Despite the difficulty of the process, the god of dreams didn’t hold back at all. He found one of his subordinate gods. Then he freed the first angel of telepathy and let him invade the mind of the subordinate god.

The first angel of telepathy was clearly distraught when he awoke and realized that everything that he had just experienced was a dream. The realization that his achievents and success were not real but a fignt of his imagination made him refuse to be possessed again.

The first angel of telepathy was willing to commit suicide and die rather than be locked away in an illusion ever again. He refused to do what the god of dreams wanted unless he was given his freedom.

The god of dreams groaned and said, "I knew this was going to happen. It always does."

The problem is that the first angel of telepathy hadn’t been locked away for too long. The first angel still considers the physical dinsion to the real world, so he is averse to the idea of wasting his life in an illusion.

If he had spent a lot more ti in the illusion, then he would at least consider the dreams and the real world to be equal. If he spent more than a hundred years in the illusion, he might never want to live without the dreams ever again.

But the ti he spent in the illusion was too short. So when he woke up, it was as if he had just stopped drowning. He would rather die than experience it again.

Since the god of dreams needed him to find the current controller of the Mind Palace and would be able to recover the Mind Palace, he was willing to let the first angel of telepathy go.

It was even possible that the god of dreams would be able to possess the current wielder of the Mind Palace, so he wouldn’t need the first angel of telepathy anymore. Even so, the god of dreams had the first angel of telepathy swear that he wouldn’t try to control the Mind Palace ever.

The first angel of telepathy agreed with this demand. But in exchange, he wanted the god of dreams to promise not to ever co looking for him again or attack him.

The god of dreams said, "I won’t co after you again if you promise not to reveal anything that happened between us and between you and the angel of telepathy that defeated you."

The first angel of telepathy replied, "I am willing to swear an oath to this. But you also have to swear an oath on your authority, too. You also have to swear that you will let go as soon as we find who you’re looking for."

The god of dreams accepted his conditions. The two sides were satisfied with their deals and proceeded to swear oaths to seal the deal.

Their oaths were made with the authority of the pathway of dreams as the foundation. So even the god of dreams couldn’t break the oaths, or he would lose his status as the god of the pathway. Only with this kind of assurance was the first angel of telepathy willing to do what was required of him.
