There was no earth or sky where he appeared. There was only darkness and emptiness around him. It was a sif he was surrounded by an ocean of emptiness.
But this darkness and emptiness was different from the conditions of the tunnel because there was no suffocating force trying to push him back, and there were actually stars in this darkness.
These stars had various colors. And as he looked at them, he realized that they were islands.
These islands were plentiful and were shining brightly. Even so, the world was still dark.
When he looked behind him at where he ca from, he saw a round black gate at the edge of an island. This helped him realize that the islands were dreams.
So he realized that he had just walked out of his dream, and the suffocating force he felt in the tunnel was actually the barrier of his dream preventing him from leaving the safety of his dream.
Now that his consciousness had left his dream, he had beco without protection. He had beco naked and exposed.
He should feel fear, but he didn’t feel anything. He was still calm, as if there was nothing wrong.
When he looked above him, he saw the sa eyes that he had seen in his dream. But this ti, he also saw the rest of the body that the eyes were attached to.
What he saw was a giant sloth. The slot had a body that was as dark as the darkness of this world, but he could still tell it apart from the rest of the world. This was because the body of the sloth made him feel sleepy whenever he gazed at it.
The sloth stretched out his hand towards the first angel. The first angel had no fear and easily stepped onto the hand.

The god of dreams controlled him to return to his dream island. Then the tunnel that led him out of the dream disappeared.
In the physical world, the first angel had only closed his eyes for a mont. When he opened his eyes again, they were black and deep as an abyss.
The god of dreams had now taken control of his body. The first thing he did was to go looking for Legion.
In the dream realm, the giant sloth ca to another dream island. This dream island was different from the rest because it was large and because, despite its large size, it wasn’t producing any light.
The god of dreams saw this island and said, "Who can have such a large dream? It is probably the largest dream I have ever seen."
"If this person had chosen to go on the pathway of dreams and had competed with , he would have surely been able to beco the god of dreams. No wonder he was able to defeat that old goat.
After complinting the dream island, the god of dreams complained. "No one’s dream should be this big. How big is his consciousness to create such a large dream island?"
"And the defense of the dream is too strong. Fortunately, I am not helpless against him. I might not be able to get what I want in the dream realm, but I will surely be able to get it in the physical dinsion."
The god of dreams is mostly helpless against this dream island because this is the dream realm, and physical force can’t be used here.
His current body is that of a dream, and dreams don’t have physical power. The only things he can use are the divine abilities of his pathway, and while these are more than enough in a normal situation, they are lacking now.
For one, this dream island is too big. Secondly, this dream island has a strong defense thanks to the Aegis Shield.
He has actually attacked this dream island many tis, but nothing has worked. Even though the dream island doesn’t have dream thods, the dream island was able to rebuff his attempts.
This situation is similar to how the god of killing had struggled to kill an undying godling. But it is extra worse because this dream island also has an authority of a pathway to make it highly durable.
The best guess of the god of dreams for why this dream island is like this is that the Mind Palace had enhanced the owner of the dream island.
This has made it so that the god of dreams decided to compare his power in the dream dinsion with the power of his physical power in the physical dinsion. But this requires that the god of dreams find Legion first.
If it were anyone else who the god of dreams had t their dream island, finding them in the physical dinsion would be easy because the god of dreams can mark their dreams and even infiltrate them through their dreams.
No matter how soone runs and hides in the physical dinsion, their dream will remain in place in the dream realm, so they will never be able to escape from the god of dreams.
This is how the god of dreams can find anyone they’ve t in the physical dinsion and attack anyone regardless of where they are in the physical dinsion. Unfortunately, the god of dreams can do that in this situation.
Even if the god of dreams managed to destroy this dream, and he can, he won’t gain the Mind Palace from it because the authority of the pathway of telepathy doesn’t exist in the dream realm.
