The power of the gods didn’t impress them because they have wielded this kind of power before and even surpassed it by a large margin.
So when they saw the display of power, they only felt caution and resolved not to get hit by such power in their current situation, not fear or awe for the gods.
Then they began ruminating on what had happened.
Legion-3 said, "I rember this event, but it shouldn’t have happened so soon. It should have happened when the Wessex kingdom started invading this kingdom."
Legion-6 chuckled and said, "I bet this is about that angel of killing. If it is, it will explain why the god of justice is so incensed."
Legion-9 also laughed and said, "It was a good thing that we left Reinfield in ti too. At least we got to watch this happen in relative safety."
But Legion-3 didn’t think the situation was funny. Legion-3 was mollified by what they said, so he relaxed and said, "You’re right. The matters of the gods were beyond us in our future lives and still are. But that won’t be the sa for long once we beco angels."
They were talking to themselves about their plans just as the golden pillar of light in the sky finally overca the obstruction in its way and struck its true target.
This was exactly as they had seen it done in their future lives. The major difference between what they saw happen and what was happening was that it didn’t happen so soon after the war between the Church of Justice and the kingdom of Wessex.
When this event had happened in the future, they were in another kingdom far to the north. They were nowhere near Wessex in the future. This makes them suspect that the difference between what happened in the future and what was happening now was probably because of them.
Far more than suspicion, they also have concrete proof that the god of justice had attacked earlier than normal because the angel of killing had appeared because of them.
In their future lives, when they witnessed the golden pillar of light fall from the sky, they didn’t know why it had happened. But now they have a lot of knowledge on their hands and also know that the angel of killing had appeared to fight a demigod and destroyed Reinfield too.
When they combine the knowledge they have of the hatred of the pathway of killing by the god of justice with the knowledge that the angel of killing had appeared because of all the ruckus they caused in Reinfield City, they can co to the conclusion that this event had happened early because of them.
Still, they didn’t dwell too much on why the god of justice had attacked ahead of ti and if he would beco free. They don’t know why the god of justice beca free after making this attack, but they know that if he will beco free, they will find out in ten minutes.
With this knowledge, they felt relaxed. They were relaxed enough to even plan how they would advance the pathway of killing.
The advancent requirent of the pathway of killing to rank 8 is to kill 2 legendary godclads by draining their blood using their new rank 7 divine ability called Blood Manipulation.
As for rank 9, it is to kill 10 million people. That’s the main reason they ca to this kingdom.

But they are not a plant and can move, so they have many options to fulfill the advancent requirent. They also don’t want to spend many years slowly grinding away at the advancent requirent.
This is one of the main reasons why they ca to this kingdom called the Hydra kingdom. They want to use the upcoming war between Hydra and Wessex as a cover to fulfill their advancent requirent.
To be specific, they plan to impersonate the troops of both sides and direct both sides to kill each other. This way, most of the deaths in the war will be counted as being caused by them.
After all, they won’t be ordinary participants in the war but will beco its orchestrator. Only in this way will indirect deaths be counted as part of their advancent requirents.
The second reason they ca to this kingdom is because there is no god here for them to be scared of. The third reason they ca here specifically is because there should be one angel in the entire kingdom of Hydra, and that angel is a slave master.
They know about the angel of slavery because they heard about her presence in the kingdom of Hydra after the church of justice ca down south and attacked both Wessex and Hydra.
