The cooperation agreent between the two gangs ant that it would be more difficult for the Golden Hamr gang to fall. Many people wanted the opposite, so they tried to break off the agreent.
Many gang leaders went to et the leader of the Light Temple gang to convince her to drop the cooperation agreent with the Golden Hamr.
But she refused, claiming that she couldn’t since they had already sworn on the matter and because she didn’t want to continue to live in fear of the Golden Hamr gang.
What she did was not suspicious at all. In fact, her acceptance of the deal was reasonable, and many of the gang leaders would have taken the deal if they were in her place.
The Light Temple gang had been on edge ever since they beca neighbors with the Golden Hamr gang. They have had to hire a lot more manpower, which has led to an increase in the wages that needed to be paid.
So the Light Temple gang has been suffering emotional, ntal, and financial stress because of the Golden Hamr gang. If there is a way to avoid this stress, it is reasonable to take it.
No one had the right to bla the Light Temple gang for backing down from antagonizing the Golden Hamr gang. After all, no one could understand what it ant to be in her place, living next to a behemoth that could eat her any day.
But no matter how reasonable it was to take the truce, the gang leaders still tried to convince her to do otherwise. The most vocal of them was Black Axe. He tried to convince her like his life depended on it.
They claid that the Golden Hamr gang was unlikely to survive the beast tide and that all the Light Temple gang needed to do to win was be patient and wait for them to fall.
But the leader of the Light Temple gang wasn’t so sure that the Golden Hamr gang would fall, and she wasn’t willing to take any chances, so she remained adamant about her decision.
What beca ironic was that the neighbor of the Golden Hamr gang on the other side offered the Golden Hamr gang a truce and cooperation agreent after hearing the announcent of the cooperation between the Golden Hamr gang and the Light Temple gang, but his offer was rejected by the Golden Hamr gang.
The leader of the Ice n gang offered the deal because he realized that if the Golden Hamr gang and the Light Temple gang form a truce, he and his gang will beco the sole recipient of the expansion aggression of the Golden Hamr gang in the future.
He didn’t want to be the sole target. So he tried to form a truce with the Golden Hamr gang too. Unfortunately, he was rejected.
The rejection of the Ice n’s offer of a truce further reinforced the stubbornness of the leader of the Light Temple gang. She was unwilling to give up her truce even more now that she knew that there was another person who was willing to offer the Golden Hamr gang the truce if she backed out of it.
Even the gang leaders who had invested in her and were disappointed to hear about her truce agreent had to give up now. It was already reasonable for the Light Temple gang to accept the truce before. Now it has beco unreasonable and stupid to give it up after soone else offered the sa thing.
Now, no matter what they thought about the truce, they couldn’t bla the Light Temple gang for it. They also couldn’t bla their leader for the death of so many rank 3 godclads.
Legion watched all of these happen with mild amusent. They were especially intrigued by the offer of truce from the Ice n gang.
They didn’t enslave the leader of the Ice ng gang because they didn’t care for the pathway he was in. So the offer of truce from the Ice n gang was the only real truce agreent that was brought up, but they had rejected it.
They rejected the real offer because they already had the help of the Light Temple gang and because they wanted to give their enemies a tool that could be used against them.
Now that they were confird to be at loggerheads with the Ice n gang, all of their enemies will go over to them and help them resist the Golden Hamr gang. This way, Legion will find it easier to monitor their plans against the Golden Hamr gang.
They didn’t really need the truce and cooperation between them and the Light Temple gang to make the Light Temple gang help the Golden Hamr gang defend their territory. After all, the leader of the Light Temple gang had already been enslaved by them.
The truce was just to offer a reasonable explanation for why the Light Temple gang will be helping them. The truce will also offer an explanation as to why the Golden Hamr gang doesn’t target the Light Temple gang in the future.
The second explanation is not as important as the first one, though. It will be nice that they don’t have to destroy their properties in order to put up a show of aggression between the Light Temple gang and the Golden Hamr gang.
A fight between the two gangs will only be harming Legion, which is sothing they don’t want. But what’s really important right now is being able to defend their territories against the beast tide.
The gang leaders were right to think that the Golden Hamr gang was in a pickle in the matter of defending such a large territory. The main conundrum being that they don’t want to showcase what they are truly capable of.
Legion is sure that they can defend their territory from the beast tide if they go all out and they don’t believe that they will have to act personally in order to achieve this.
