Besides these two main reasons, they have an innate ability that helps them quickly gain mastery of their divine abilities. So they don’t need to risk their lives for progress.
However, they could always risk the lives of their slaves. They don’t care if their slaves think they are soone else. As long as their slaves beco puppets, their identity as puppets will remain set no matter how many mories they have.
They gained this confirmation after testing the option on their slaves. They bought mory fragnts from legendary telepaths in the Mindscape and discovered that as long as their slaves are puppets and they support their slaves ntally, their chances of losing control instantly beco drastically reduced.
As for the matter of dissociative disorder, its effect can also be minimized by using their Hypnotize divine ability. So all in all, the worst consequence is their slave losing control, which doesn’t affect them much.

This option will help gain mastery of divine abilities quickly, but it cos at a risk of total personality overwrite. There is also the risk of a split personality, but the total personality overwrite is the main concern.
When godclads use mory fragnts, the mories they gain have been trimd down to only contain what they want. This is why there is only a personality split.
In the case of dream excursion, the mories gained are unfiltered and unrestricted. In the worst case, the mories from the dream will overwhelm the mories of the godclad to the extent that the godclad starts thinking that they are the person whose dream they entered.
Total personality overwrite is usually the case when the dream belongs to a dead god. Godclads who use this kind of dream will quickly gain mastery of divine ability, but they might have to give up their existence for it.
To top it off, losing control is also a possible side effect. Not even gods are safe from losing control, so this option doesn’t make one immune to it either.
There is also the risk of trauma and other debilitating mories. All in all, Legion decided to stay off of this option too.
They didn’t even bother to use the option on their slaves either. It was just too stressful an option for them to use.
They don’t have tools to enter dreams, and they don’t want to venture to the spiritual dinsion in order to find areas occupied with the dream of dead gods either. Rather than do these stressful things, they would rather just buy mory fragnts from the Mindscape.
The fact that they will be able to create mory fragnts themselves when they beco legends made them decide to use the first option. They just don’t trust other Legends, and the mory fragnts are also expensive to buy.
They had just bought another set of mory fragnts, but they were not happy about how they got it. They even complained about it.

In general, the price of a mory fragnt for mastery of divine ability is the cost of the divine flesh for the rank of divine multiplied by the level of milestone of mastery.
The levels of mastery are 1%, 10%, 20%, 50%, and 100%. Only the last four are counted, and they are counted as 2, 4, 8, and 16.

In fact, they still can’t be sure about the level of mastery contained within the mory fragnt because the level of mastery gained from them is also dependent on the user. Specifically, the level of mastery gained is dependent on the digestion and assimilation rate of the mory fragnts.
