The spy doesn’t have faith in this man and whoever his boss is when they have already made one mistake and turned a job that should last two weeks at most into a job that has lasted two months with no end in sight.

If not for the fact that she wouldn’t be eliminated for knowing too much, she would have run away, considering how much she doesn’t trust this man and his boss.

She could guess who the man is working for and what their purpose is. She could guess this based on who their target is.

Their target is the Golden Hamr gang, so her boss is likely to be a gang or a noble who is planning to bring down the Golden Hamr gang.

If it is a gang, then it is likely that the gang she is working for is one of the two neighbors of the Golden Hamr gang. And if her suspicion is right, then their plan is to put soone like her on the inside of the gang to facilitate an external attack.

She knows all of these, and she is confident of using this knowledge to ensure that she gets paid. After all, this is a ga, and pawns like her must get paid, or every pawn will quit and the ga will collapse once word gets out of mistreatnt.

The handler didn’t know what she was thinking about. He had an important job to do, so he left the horse to take a better brush.

He brought the brush and handed it over to the spy. On the surface, he was giving her sothing better to work with, but secretly, he passed on sothing to her through the brush.

What he gave her was a small tal ball engraved with runes. She didn’t look at it when she took it. Instead, she discreetly put it in her pocket.

The handler explained before she asked, "That is an important object. You should place it in your room in the base of the Golden Hamr gang."

She was curious, so she asked, "What is it?"

The handler rebuked her imdiately. "It is none of your business. All you have to do is your job, which is to put it in your room like you were asked to do."

She sneered and said, "Is this going to kill ? Are you trying to kill to silence ? I won’t do anything if you don’t tell what it is you’re asking to place in my room."

She knew that she was being excessive by asking about the function of the round object, but she felt that she deserved to know after being in the dark for so long without pay.

Her insistence on knowing made the handler sigh. This ti, he couldn’t stop himself from sighing.

Then he said to her, "It is locator. We want to use it to navigate the confusion arrays and mirage arrays protecting the base. If we have sothing leading the way, we won’t have to take a lot of detours and go straight to the destination."

She smiled and asked quietly, "You’re not lying to , are you?"

Of course he was lying to her. But he wasn’t going to tell her that now.

So he feigned anger and said, "Just do your job. It is your business if you believe or not."

She asked more questions just to be sure, but he refused to answer her. He looked truly angry that she would doubt him.

She had to give up asking for more information. He, too, had nothing else to say to her now that he had given her the object. So their eting ended there.

After the two of them finished talking, the lady went back to the Golden Hamr gang. Her arrival was noticed imdiately. This was because Legion had been waiting for her.

As soon as she arrived, she was assigned to clean weapons. Later the Heavy Hamr, who used to be one of the only three leaders of the Golden Hamr gang, ca over to inspect her work.

The Heavy Hamr used Hypnosis and Mind Read on her. Then she asked her what she had gone to do. Soon Legion found out about the eting and the strange round object that she was given.

They didn’t stop asking about the eting, though. They let their fate weaver co over to ask about other things that she needed to make her prediction more accurate.

The fate weaver also used the strange object to make predictions. This way, Legion was able to discover more than the spy knew.

After Legion found out what they wanted. They used Hypnosis to coerce the spy to forget about the questioning. The spy obeyed the order and forgot that she had divulged the content of her secret eting.

The mory of the interrogation hasn’t been deleted and can be retrieved by an external influence such as a legendary telepath or a high-grade divine artifact with the ntal Domination divine ability.

So what they did wasn’t secure. This is why they didn’t do it to Jack. But they did it to this spy because their fate weaver determined that it was safe to do so.

The fate weaver determined that whoever this spy is working for doesn’t suspect that they have a telepath working for them. The fate weaver also determined the identity of the boss of the spy and what they hoped to achieve.

Legion-1 sneered and said, "That makes four enemies who have made their move or are about to make their moves now. I wonder who will overplay their hand first."

He spoke confidently even though four of the nurous enemies they have are prepared to take action against them or have even taken action against them.

The first enemy is one of Celine’s brothers. He is the one who put the propagator of disorder in their gang. He is the one planning to use biological warfare against them.
