They have the right to say that if only because they have four epic abilities, not one. They have the rank 4 Absorption Body from the pathway of undying.
They gained this rank 4 divine ability after they used their Armor Divine ability to fuse with a living armor. Thanks to the Absorption Body divine ability, they can heal their bodies by absorbing blocked attacks.
This ability to heal is similar to the living armor’s ability to restore itself. So the advancent requirent had an effect on the divine ability that they gained.
This is a feature that is common to their other three pathways. In fact, it is common to every pathway. From rank 4 onwards, the advancent requirents will be closely related to the divine abilities gained from advancent.
The rank 4 Blood Limbs’ divine ability from the pathway of the killing is another example. By bathing themselves in blood, they gained the ability to wield blood as their weapon.
Their third rank 4 ability is the ntal Armant of the pathway of the telepath. With this divine ability, they can manipulate the first layer of their minds into shields to defend their minds or weapons to attack the minds of others.
Gerald was able to be cocky despite facing three possible rank 4 enemies because he had this ability. They have ntal Armant and more, so they deserve to be more cocky than Gerald.
Unfortunately for the world, things only get worse for the world thanks to their fourth epic divine ability. This divine ability is why the godclads of the pathway of slavery are hated so much.
The rank 4 divine ability of the pathway of slavery is Puppet. This is a divine ability that turns slaves into loyal puppets.
Slavers are hated in general. But this ability makes the hatred reach its peak. No matter how abominable any divine ability they gain in the future will be, slavers can’t be hated beyond this mont when they gain the ability to turn people into puppets.
At this point, their slaves have lost their free will. No slave can betray them anymore.
The pathway of the slave within them has split and fused with all of their souls, so no slave can think of betraying them or thinking of escaping, much less actually try to escape.
That’s just the first passive effect of the Puppet divine ability. The second passive benefit of this ability is that they can trust their slaves completely. So they can lend their slaves all of their divine abilities.
Those two passive benefits are good, but they can’t compare to the main active effect of the divine ability. Once they activate the Puppet divine ability, they will be able to take control of the bodies of their slaves and use them for whatever they want.
So in essence, they now have puppets that can use all of their divine abilities. They can sit back in the safety of the basent of so house while they wreak rampage outside with their slaves.
This is what makes slavers terrifying. But they will be more terrifying than normal slavers because they have three other pathways for their slaves to use to fight for them.
So they were not kidding when they said that they could take down a rank 6 godclad. They can already imagine how they would go about it. Their go-to plan is to wear down the godclad with many slaves until it becos easy to kill them.
This new rank 4 divine ability of the pathway of slavery and what they can do with it is why it is a must for them to recruit more slaves.
