Black Knife also said, "It is not as if I am asking for the heart of your family. You can surely afford this much money. And if I manage to stop the small noble families from leaving, you will be able to earn more than you paid from their lives and properties. So gamble on ."
What Black Knife said was reasonable. Bushwick could find many ways to refute his claims. But that won't change the fact that no one is willing to work with his family now.

Black Knife also refused. He smiled as he said, "You are right. The normal price for the life of a rank 4 godclad is 800 liters or 8,000 gold coins. But you're currently desperate. You don't have any choice."
He spread his hands and looked around him as he said, "I don't see anyone willing to associate with you or your family at this point in ti. Tell if I'm wrong."
Bushwick gritted his teeth before saying, "I can only double his price. I'll pay 1,600 liters for him. That makes 3,400 in total. That is my final offer."
Black Knife sighed and said, "We have a deal. Take it as my fault for trying to help you in your ti of need. It is not your fault that you're determined to take advantage of ."
Bushwick didn't want to listen to any more of his nonsense. So he said to the elders listening by the side, "Send soone to bring his paynt."
Ten minutes later, rank 1 knights began wheeling barrels into the eting hall. Black Knife took out the bucket he prepared and began sending away the barrels.
He took the barrels of energy water right in front of everyone without any guilt or fear. After he was done, he bowed to Bushwick and said, "I will be on my way."
Without waiting for Bushwick to say anything, he turned around and left. Bushwick looked at him go with a face that one would see and think that he just sucked on a lemon.
Bushwick was truly angry. He felt as if he had just swallowed sothing bitter and sour.
But he didn't flare up. Instead he said, "Good, good. It is not your fault. Keep jumping around while you still can. The day of reckoning will be soon."
Black Knife sauntered out of the large Ivory family estate as if the property belonged to his father, not so prideful noble who has been looking for the opportunity to kill him for quite so ti.
His confidence is not faked. He truly doesn't feel fear because of the encouragent of his "inner voice."
Ever since he received the pathway of the slave, he has accepted his fate and decided not to worry too much about anything. He is slowly and surely becoming the right tool for his master.
In the past, he would have been very scared to approach Bushwick and fleece him before going to kill Silver Mirror. But now, he didn't think there was anything to worry about.
Legion wasn't around to see his actions, and they didn't activate his second eye yet so as not to arouse Bushwick's suspicion, but they could read Black Knife's mind, so they knew what was going on.
They knew that their plan to recover what Bushwick owed them before they left the town had worked. It had worked so well that they even got extra after making Black Knife pretend that he was going to kill Silver Mirror.
Of course, Black Knife himself doesn't know the true goal of his missions. As a slave, he should just do as he is told and not worry about the rest.
Even if their plan fails, they won't bla Black Knife since they can see that he is doing his very best. Not that Black Knife has a choice in the matter. He has to do his best after his mind has been bombarded by many doses of Hypnotize.
Now that Black Knife had left the Ivory family and was away from Bushwick, Legion felt that it was safe enough to activate the pathway of the slave.
A second pupil opened in both of Black Knife's eyes. These pupils were red and gave off a sharp feeling to those who are sensitive.
Black Knife imdiately knew the pathway of the slave was activated. He gained access to three more abilities and a new source of spiritual energy that he couldn't use before. So he definitely noticed the changes in his body.
