They felt the changes in their existence and looked at the information gained through power assessnt. Everything looked normal except for their large amount of spiritual energy and their possession of the ultimate ability of the pathway of undying.
The possession of an innate ability is a good thing. Its presence ans that a godclad has the opportunity to break out of the limit of their pathway and beco a false god or a godling. But only one entity can be in possession of the ultimate ability of the pathway.
Only the true god, who is in control of a pathway, can be in possession of the ultimate ability of the pathway. They are not the true god yet, so they can't use their ultimate ability any way they want yet.
In fact, they might not have the spiritual energy needed to activate the ultimate ability yet. If they do, it is unlikely that they will be able to activate the ability twice. But just the possession of this ultimate ability gives them the confidence to contend with a god to a certain extent.
The source of the ultimate ability is the golden gem within them. They want to activate it and see how good it is, but they are worried that they will pass out or create a phenonon that will draw attention to themselves.
So Legion-7 said, "Let us wait until we get ho and reach the safety of our basent to try it."
The other consciousnesses agreed, so they decided to leave the inn imdiately.
On their way ho, they spoke about their plans for the future.
Legion-2 said, "The first thing to do is steal or buy so energy water in order to gain mastery of our abilities sooner and advance to rank 2 as fast as possible."
Legion-4 added, "The second thing would be to try and get the authority of other pathways and see how well our innate ability works with them."
Legion-10 was happy to hear that. He said, "I have a lot of faith in our innate ability. If there wasn't a requirent for the future acquisition of the aspects, every authority would beco an Absolute."
Legion-6 agreed. He said, "I have a lot of faith too. That's why I think the Authority of Slavery should turn into an Absolute since we already have the aspect of Infection in our future."
Legion-3 didn't think so. "I think you're jumping ahead of yourself here. We need both the future and past to align. We only have the aspect of Infection in our future. We have never had any ability related to it in our past."
Legion-5 interjected, "It is true that we have never been godclads of the pathway of slavery in the past or gotten in touch with any authority in our past, but aren't we in the past now? We should be able to change that by eting the requirents for an Absolute once we get in touch with an Authority that matches our ability in the future."
Legion-6 nodded and said, "That's right. As Absolutes, the past doesn't make a difference to us. There is no past or future. All that there is is our will."
Legion-2 disagreed. "That's for Absolutes. We are not Absolutes yet. Even if we were, things shouldn't be so easy, or Absolutes will have more than one aspect."
Legion-3 said, "He has a point. There can only be one Absolute. I don't think anything will change even if we co into contact with the Authority of the path of slavery."
Legion-9 said, "I guess we will know for sure when we gain control of the Authority of the path of slavery."
The clones began to argue. They had a lot to say about what could beco an Absolute and what shouldn't be able to beco one.
Legion-1 was the only one not in the mood to argue. He sighed and said, "If anyone cares, our main goal is to gain access to the origin and finally beco Absolute."
What he said was like a small stone being tossed into a lake. It was swallowed up and sank to the bottom of the lake without creating a splash.
They all agreed with him, so his statent didn't cause much of a ripple or draw any attention from the others. They continued to argue with each other about how and what exactly they would use to beco Absolutes.
The main reason why they are arguing is that they want to have more than one Absolute. It is not surprising since they are very greedy. But they don't know if what they want is possible at all.
Even if it were possible to have more than one Absolute, they don't know how to go about it. The best they can do is co up with various ideas and examine them intensely to see if they will work or not.
They argued about this until they returned ho. Along the way, Legion-11 gained control of their body and used the divine ability of the path of the telepath.
As soon as he activated the ntal probe ability, the pupils of their eyes turned white, and they gained the ability to see and interact with the minds of others. They saw a cloud of varying colors around the heads of everyone around them.
These clouds were mostly round. But they were constantly changing.
At the edge of the clouds, the ntal material that made it up was breaking up and diffusing into the environnt. But more ntal material was being produced at the core of the cloud, which kept it from breaking apart.
They can tell that the clouds are the manifestation of the minds of others. They could also tell that the various colors flashing across the clouds are the manifestations of the emotions that the people are currently feeling.
They too have a cloud around their heads. But unlike other people, they can actively control their cloud. As telepaths, they can use their cloud to do things others can't.
