They wanted to stretch further from that point, but they couldn't because from that version of themselves, their existence was cut off.
Any part of their existence in the ti stream that ventured outside of the void universe would be cut off. It was as if there was only death waiting for them once they stepped out of the void universe.
They don't know what will kill them once they step out of the void universe, but they know that they will die and that the god of power would either die once he ventures outside the void universe or successful escape from the void universe.
Legion-1 said, "This doesn't make sense. Why is there death outside of the void universe? If there is death outside of the void universe, how did beyonders like the god of power and that spiritual entity enter the void universe? And how will they leave?"
As soon as he asked that question, answers began to flood into their minds. They ca to the conclusion that beyondees must have a way to avoid the death outside of the void universe.
They still don't know why there is death in the void universe, but they now have an inkling as to how beyonders entered and left the void universe.
That inkling is related to what the two beyonders they have encountered have in common. It is the golden shield around them that protects them.
They didn't experience it personally, but they rember that the god of power used this golden shield to escape the void universe. Even though they were stronger than him, he was able to pass through the barrier of the void universe faster than them.
As for what they experienced personally, it was their inability to stop the god of power from reaching the Golden Sphere and the inability of the Golden Sphere to block him.
Then there is the escape of the white spiritual beyonder from their grasp. These experiences show that the golden shield is very powerful and might be the answer to their solution.
This is just a suspicion. But it doesn't matter if the golden shield is the answer to how beyonders can enter and leave the void universe safely despite the death waiting outside of the void universe.
What matters is that they confirm the truth themselves. The only way to do that is to ask a beyonder. By asking, they an to capture and assimilate the beyonder.
They were not going to ask the god of power because they couldn't do anything to him. He was going to escape no matter what.
Maybe if he didn't have the golden shield around him, maybe they would be able to catch him and ask him for advice. But the god of power is using the golden shield throughout the ti stream that their existence is connected.
That ans they have to find another beyonder to ask or use other ans apart from force to get the information they need from the god of power.
They first tried the second option because it is the easiest to do. After all, the god of power is already nearby.
So every clone of Legion said, "We swear on our Supre law not to stop you if you tell us how to leave the void universe safely."
They were very sincere in their request. Even the god of power could tell that because of their oath.
But the god of power wasn't moved because it didn't matter if Legion wanted to stop him or not. He has the Transcendence Boat, so he can leave without trouble.
The second reason why he didn't stop to chat was because the void universe is officially dead, which ans he has to escape as soon as possible.
The third reason is that he suspects that this might be a ploy. He doesn't see how them swearing an oath might be a ploy, but he knows that he is not particularly smart, so it is not a surprise that he can't tell how it is a ploy.
Besides, he understands that it would be the ultimate folly to underestimate a limitless. So he was determined not to be fooled.
As for the fourth reason why he didn't tell them, it is because he doesn't want them to survive.
He doesn't want them to know about the Transcendence Boat, and he doesn't want them to get it either. He wants them to die here, so there is no way he is going to help them.
If he had his way, he would mock them and taunt them for their loss, but the end was coming, and he didn't want to spend any more ti than necessary in the void universe, so he ignored Legion and continued to escape.
Legion didn't get any information from him despite their oath. It was a waste of ti and sincerity.
Fortunately, they could send this experience as a ssage to their ultimate past so that they wouldn't repeat this mistake.
As they were doing so, their present began to change because their past had changed. They also began to cease to exist because what just happened to them never happened after they sent their ssage.
This was perfectly normal. What wasn't normal was that their ultimate future died and was cut off. This death was a permanent loss of part of their existence in the ti stream.
Apparently, whatever will kill them if they leave the void universe is still hunting them. It seems that entity is not limited by space either. It has broken the barrier of ti and is hunting all of their existence through ti.
Legion-12 shouted in panic, "What kind of entity is out there?"
Because of their loss of their ultimate future, the future they had access to had been reduced. Now their ultimate future is the version of Legion that was pursuing the god of power.
This loss also reduced the size of their existence connected across the ti stream. So they lose the power gained from connecting to that part of their existence that was cut off permanently and beca weakened.
