Caesar had chartered an entire cruise ship. On the surface, he was taking Sang Luo out to have fun and relax. In reality, he had already discussed it with her privately. He wanted to take her back to the East Continent to await childbirth. After the half-month journey, they would arrive just around the ti she was due.

"Don’t worry. You think I can’t afford to keep you fed? My only fear is that you won’t eat well." Caesar handed her a few more Purple Crystals. "Use these for now. Once we get to the East Continent, there are plenty of Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures. The Star Beasts there are also a higher Level and more powerful than on the Western Continent. Sang Luo was feeling sleepy again after eating and didn’t notice the stare. Caesar paused for a mont, then leaned down and kissed her on the cheek, smiling gently. "I’ll carry you back to rest first. I have so things to take care of, so I might be gone for a little while."
Sang Luo humd softly in agreent and let him carefully lift her into his arms and carry her to their cabin.
In a room on the top floor.
Behind a window, the curtain was pulled back slightly, revealing the tall, shadowy figure of a man.
The target appeared in the crosshairs of a scope.
The mont before the trigger was pulled, the female in the target’s arms turned her head slightly, revealing part of her beautiful face—black hair, snow-white skin, and vibrant red lips...
The gun slipped from his grasp instantly.

As if sensing sothing, Sang Luo turned her head to look in a certain direction. The room was empty; no one was there. The window was half-open, the curtain swaying slightly. "...You chartered the whole cruise ship, right? There aren’t any other tourists?"
"Besides the two of us and the few dozen staff mbers on the ship, there’s no one else."
Caesar’s voice was still gentle, but held an inscrutable quality. "Alright, Sangsang, you get so rest. Don’t co out before nightfall. I’ll handle everything else."

That night, Sang Luo was jolted awake by the sound of gunshots outside.
Caesar still hadn’t returned. ’Could sothing have happened outside?’
She recalled Caesar’s warning from earlier in the day. ’It seems he already knew what was going to happen tonight.’
Caesar had been in a high-ranking position for many years, so this surely wasn’t his first assassination attempt. But this ti was different. He had a female with him. He probably hadn’t told her the truth because he was afraid of scaring her.
Caesar was powerful, but for these desperados to dare attempt an assassination, they weren’t just coming to throw their lives away. They must have set a trap. ’Could he be...?’ Sang Luo’s worry intensified. Just as she reached the door, she suddenly heard several sets of unfamiliar footsteps, and they were getting closer!
She hurriedly looked through the peephole. Several masked figures in black were standing outside her door. One of the Beastn took out a key to her room and was about to unlock it.
’Their target is ?!’
Sang Luo backed away.
CRASH!
The window suddenly shattered. Before Sang Luo could react, she gathered Thunder Power in her palm, but she was caught off guard as soone embraced her from behind. The man grasped her right hand, and the wisp of the Power of thunder and lightning flowed directly into his body.
Sang Luo didn’t even have ti to be shocked. She tried to turn her head, but the man gripped her chin and pulled her into a long, passionate kiss. His breathing was ragged, as if he were suppressing imnse, overwhelming emotions!
At the sa ti, the black-clad n burst through the door.
A large hand covered her eyes, and then the thick scent of blood filled the air.
Most of the room was splattered with fresh blood. One of the Beastn clutched his half-severed neck, staring in terror at the cold, grim-faced man.
"Lan Cang, you... you... you dare betray the organization..."
