"Where are we going?" Sang Luo contentedly kissed her two Little Snake children and turned to Fei Yuan.

"To a place you’re familiar with, Little Luoruo. The Human World."

"Huh? The Human World? But didn’t the humans in the Beast World’s dinsion go extinct long ago?" Sang Luo was dumbfounded.

Fei Yuan said, "The humans in this dinsion went extinct by accident, but human civilizations have survived in other worlds."

"You an to say there’s more than one human world?!"

"Three thousand transient worlds, ten thousand great paths."

"I saw that phrase in the book *Cosmic Observation*!" Little Yuan raised her hand eagerly, for once saying a long string of words. "There are countless worlds, thousands upon thousands of them! There are energy worlds ford from a world’s origin, and derivative worlds that split off from others. Worlds large and small might share the sa pivot points, but they can also evolve differently. That’s what creates the myriad forms of mortal life!"

Sang Luo kissed her little head. "Wow, my precious daughter knows so much~"

Little Yuan swayed her snake tail a little shyly.

"So... the world I co from isn’t necessarily the sa human world that was destroyed in the Beast World’s history?" Sang Luo looked at Fei Yuan again.

Fei Yuan’s eyes crinkled in a smile as he nodded. "Little Luoruo, you guessed right~"

"No wonder the Archbishop and the others weren’t that surprised when Minos announced my identity to the Holy Hall."

"The Holy Hall and its predecessor, the Angel Temple, are the observers of the Beast World Continent’s dinsion. The very first Divine Beast to possess the Space-ti Law ca from the Ancient God Angel Clan. After so many years, they’ve surely observed other worlds as well... I didn’t know any of this myself. Before Yan left, he gave the key to the Desolate Domain and passed these mories on to ."

Sang Luo understood and breathed a silent sigh of relief. ’Thank goodness it wasn’t the sa world.’

’I’ve had the ability to return to my original world for a long ti. I only hesitated to leave because of my attachnts here, wanting to wait until after the little fox is born to decide my next steps. My lifespan is long now. Will I live long enough to see humanity go extinct again, causing my tiline to overlap with that of my ’future self’? If they’re two parallel worlds that don’t interfere with each other, then I won’t have to worry about that anymore.’

"Hmph~ That old fox played a clever trick. He scattered his body into countless fragnts to undergo reincarnation, hoping to gather the Creation Divine Power needed to reforge himself. The process is far too long—tens of thousands of years would be a short ti—so he ca up with this thod to complete his reincarnation within a few short centuries." Fei Yuan ground his teeth in frustration. He’d already been planning on taking the little fox cub under his wing. ’If that old fox just stayed asleep for another few tens of thousands of years, the beauty and the child would both be mine.’

A dark red energy chain coiled around Fei Yuan and Sang Luo’s wrists, linking them together.

"Is this a new Talent Power you’ve awakened?" Sang Luo asked, shaking the chain on her wrist. She couldn’t break free from it, nor could she move too far away from him.

A dark red Phoenix Fire Seal also appeared on the back of her hand.

"Yes, it’s the Reincarnation Mark. We’re just going to take a look. If we run into any trouble, we can sever the chain and return to the Starting Point. While it’s active, we will share our lives and our talents, so you don’t need to worry about anything... Luo’er, have the children go back to your space for now."

The two Little Snake children didn’t need to be told; they cleverly slipped back into her space.

Fei Yuan chuckled, then gave Sang Luo a mischievous grin. "I’ll be borrowing your Space-Ti Talent, Little Luoruo. Hold on tight and don’t let go."

A wave of dizziness suddenly washed over her. Sang Luo pitched forward, about to fall, but Fei Yuan pulled her tightly into his embrace.

In an instant, their figures were swallowed by a Space-Ti Tunnel and they vanished.

「An unknown amount of ti passed.」

The bustling sounds of a city market filled her ears.

Sang Luo opened her eyes. She gazed in a daze at the diverse crowds in the distance.

"This is..."

"The Quyun Realm." Fei Yuan released Sang Luo, led her into a restaurant across the street, and set up a Concealing Words Array.

"In the process of re-rging, the Soul Fragnts trace their way back from the myriad worlds to the Beast World. This lesser world is very close to the Beast World, so it’s the final leg of the journey for the fragnts. As soon as they have fully re-rged, Yan’s primary soul can return to the Beast World."

"When I go back this ti, will I fall into another deep sleep for years?"

"You won’t. Your power is strong enough now that you won’t suffer a backlash from the Power of Space-Ti again. The deep sleep is the price one must pay for reversing ti, but we only traveled between two nodes of different worlds on the sa tiline. That doesn’t count as ti reversal, so there’s no price to pay."

"Then doesn’t that an for every day we spend here, a day also passes in the Beast World?" Sang Luo said, tugging on his arm to get him to leave. "Let’s not waste any ti. We have to find Yan’s Soul Fragnts right away!"

"Don’t be so anxious, Luo’er. How easy do you think it is to find one specific person in this vast world? Since you and the children are here, the Soul Fragnt will sense you. We just need to wait for it to co to us." Fei Yuan casually found a seat by the window, pressed her down onto the chair, and sat beside her. He picked up the nu, his gaze drifting toward her flat abdon, which was concealed by a Spell.

He took a Divine Fruit that looked sothing like a Snow Lotus Fruit from his spatial storage and handed it to her. "Try this. One of the trees in the Desolate Domain bore fruit a few days ago. An old tree bearing new fruit—it should taste pretty good."

Sang Luo took the fruit and took a crisp bite. The flesh was full and juicy, not bland as she had expected. It was sweet, delicious, and surprisingly filling! "This is good. Pick so more for next ti. The little cub in my belly likes it."

"So now I’m raising soone else’s child," Fei Yuan grumbled.

"What? You want the little fox cub to call you ’Dad’ when it’s born?" Sang Luo said with a laugh.

Fei Yuan’s phoenix eyes lit up. "Well, it’s not out of the question. The old fox can’t co back for the ti being anyway, and you’re due to give birth in the next few years. If he doesn’t make it back in ti for the cub’s birth, then just let raise this little fox, Luo’er!"

"...When Yan gets back, he’ll pluck a layer of your Phoenix feathers off."

"That’s true. In that case, let’s not help him find the last fragnt of his reincarnation. We’ll just let him keep going through the cycle. You can just pretend you’re on a honeymoon trip with , Little Luoruo." Fei Yuan propped his chin on one hand and gave her a winking smile. The lazy charm he exuded was breathtakingly beautiful.

All the patrons on their floor stared, dumbfounded.

Many of the young won present blushed, tossing their silk handkerchiefs his way, so intentionally, so not.

Soon, a colorful pile of embroidered handkerchiefs had accumulated under their table. A vein throbbed on Sang Luo’s forehead. She lightly kicked the long leg of the flirtatious Phoenix beside her. "...Behave! We’re here on official business, not to fool around. Can you please rein in your talent for attracting admirers?"

"I haven’t done a thing," Fei Yuan said, his eyes crinkling in a smile.

A young woman with an attractive figure walked over. She set down a tray of food but didn’t leave. She looked at Fei Yuan, unable to hide her infatuation, and spoke in a deliberately soft and delicate voice. "You two look like you’re from out of town, Sir and Madam. I wonder what business brings you esteed guests to Huajuan City? Perhaps I, Zhuang Mu, can be of so assistance."

Sang Luo shot Fei Yuan a glare. ’And he said he wasn’t attracting admirers? Here’s one now!’

Fei Yuan took her hand in his large one, enveloping it in his palm. He toyed with it as if it were a piece of fine jade, gently rubbing and kneading it so she couldn’t pull away. "Yes, my wife and I have just arrived in this fine city and are indeed unfamiliar with the area. If Miss Zhuang Mu doesn’t mind the imposition, I do have sothing I’d like to ask."

Seeing their joined hands, a flicker of disappointnt crossed Zhuang Mu’s pretty face, but she quickly recovered with a smile. "What is it you wish to ask, esteed guest?"

"Will Prince Yun Hua be coming to Huajuan City today?"
