Biya’s expression was complex, but he didn’t resist Sang Luo’s approach.

Sang Luo wasted no ti and focused intently on healing him.

Only the sound of wind whistling through the Secluded Valley Bottom remained. The two of them didn’t say another word. Compared to their last confrontation, when they had been at daggers drawn, this was much more peaceful.

Biya’s right arm had been blown to smithereens; shattered bone and mangled flesh were clearly visible. Fortunately, flesh wounds were simple for Sang Luo to repair now. The more troubleso injury was the wound on his abdon.

This wound had not only pierced straight through his abdon but was also infused with a deep-seated poison that prevented it from closing. She could only use her Purification Talent and Healing Talent to treat him slowly.

Sang Luo knelt beside the man, leaning forward slightly. Her collar was rather loose, and from certain angles, it offered a revealing glimpse of skin.

Biya lowered his gaze for a peek. His heart rate quickened, and a blush rapidly spread across his handso face.

He averted his gaze slightly and closed his eyes.

But the image in his mind refused to fade.

’Her skin is as white and smooth as porcelain. She’s had a child, so her curves are full and round. With every slight movent, they’re like... bouncing... white rabbits...’

’...bouncing right on his heart.’

His breathing gradually deepened.

Her fingers would occasionally brush against the skin of his lower abdon, making him tighten up even more, the veins there faintly popping.

It felt like trails of fire were racing through him, all converging on the spot a few inches down.

"You... don’t touch !" he bit out.

"Hm?" Sang Luo paused. Seeing that the wound on his side was almost healed, she asked with concern, "Is it still hurting?"

"Yeah... a little," he answered slowly. "There might be a hidden injury."

"Let check for you again." Sang Luo didn’t dare to be negligent and began carefully searching for any internal damage.

She pressed on his left side. "Does this hurt?"

"No."

She pressed on his right side. "How about here?"

"It’s fine."

She moved her hand a little lower. "And here?"

"...Mmm."

Biya looked down at her, his eyes slowly darkening as his breathing grew heavier.

"Isn’t there one more place you haven’t checked?" he asked.

"Hmm? Where?"

Sang Luo was too focused to notice the hoarseness in his voice. As she wondered what he ant, Biya grabbed her hand and guided it toward the one poor, neglected spot.

Sang Luo’s face flushed crimson. Her eyes widened, and she tried to snatch her hand back as if she’d been shocked, but his long fingers wrapped around her delicate hand like an iron clamp, forcing her to perform a "thorough examination."

A searing heat rose from him, throbbing faintly, burning her palm and making her breath catch in her throat.

The fabric of his trousers tented.

Her fingertips trembled.

Biya’s body tensed to its limit. He suddenly pulled Sang Luo into his lap, making her tumble onto his bent legs.

His breath was scorching hot. With a hint of a wicked smile, he asked, "Finished with your examination?"

"You! You’re perfectly fine!" Sang Luo’s face was red with embarrassnt.

A wronged expression appeared on his face. "No, I’m not. It hurts. It hurts a lot."

His palm landed on the small of her back, slowly sliding up and down her spine. His voice was low and husky. "Why don’t you help treat it so more?"

A glimr of raw desire shone in the man’s deep eyes.

Sang Luo was montarily blinded by his handso face, finding it hard to breathe. She swallowed hard, forcing herself to regain so composure.

’Biya himself said he hated her, so why the sudden change in attitude? Is it because I healed him?’

’Looking at the way he’s radiating this... mating aura... it’s almost like...’

"You aren’t in your mating season, are you?" Sang Luo blinked. "I have dicine to suppress it."

"..." Biya’s expression darkened instantly, and he glared at her.

After she had touched and prodded him all over, he, a healthy, virile young male, was naturally going to get a reaction, mating season or not.

’And what does she do? Casually offer him a mating season suppressant. Does she really want to avoid mating with that badly?’

He took a deep breath. "I don’t need it!"

He wasn’t so mindless animal. If he wanted to, he could easily suppress the urge.

But now a stifling frustration lodged in his chest, making him feel even worse.

"Why did you co looking for ? Why heal ?" Biya paused, his voice turning cold again. "Don’t you hate ?"

Sang Luo had hated his recklessness because she had subconsciously seen him as a Beast Husband—soone she could trust. Her feeling wasn’t so much hatred as it was the humiliation and anger of being deceived. But she’d had ti to think over the past two days. He was no longer the Anubia of the past. If she treated him as a stranger, then he had no obligation to help her.

So she couldn’t really say she hated him anymore.

As for why she was healing him... Sang Luo gazed at his face. His features had changed, but she could still see faint traces of the boy he once was. The immaturity was gone, replaced by deep, sharp eyes that made him look all the more mature and handso.

’No matter how much he’s changed, he still has Anubia’s soul.’

’She had longed to reunite with him for so long; she couldn’t just stand by and watch him suffer.’

"Even if I don’t like you, I do like Anu. He’s another personality in this body, so of course I can’t bear to see him suffer in pain."

A shadow fell over Biya’s eyes. "You ca back for him?"

His mood instantly soured.

They were two personalities split from the sa person, but Biya refused to accept Anu’s existence.

He wanted to erase that part of himself, yet she was full of affection for "him."

Even this rare mont of tenderness he was receiving was actually ant for that other guy.

She had spent a wild night with that other guy, yet she refused to mate and have children with him.

Sang Luo nodded, then shook her head. "Anu is part of the reason. But also... thank you."

Biya said flatly, "Thank ? For what? For destroying the key and your trump card, making it impossible for you to save your Beast Husbands and child?"

Sang Luo was struck speechless. He was surprisingly self-aware. "I’ve always been one to keep my debts and grudges straight. You toyed with , but you also helped ... The situation was so dangerous. Thank you for shielding and getting out of there."

"I received intel from a spy that the Baru God was most likely hidden in the Zone One base. I was already planning to go there; there was no need to drag a female to her death for no reason." He paused. "I would have done the sa for anyone."

"Even so, I have to thank you," Sang Luo said with a faint smile. "And besides thanking you, I also have an apology."

Biya frowned at her but said nothing.

"I shouldn’t have treated you like you were Anu. If you’re willing, we can start over."

’Biya doesn’t want his past identity anymore, so she should also learn to let go.’

"What do you an?" The man’s frown deepened. "So you’re really going back on your promise to !"

’Huh? What?’

Sang Luo stared at him blankly, unable to follow his bizarre leap in logic.

"You promised to have my child. Don’t think you can just talk your way out of it."

"But... don’t you hate ?"

"Do I need to remind you of what you and that other guy did?" His tone grew more resentful. "This body doesn’t respond to other females anymore. You have to take full responsibility. When we get back, you’re going to give a child."

"Absolutely not!" Sang Luo refused.
