"Are you sure your little female cub was brought here? They usually capture young, fertile females. Your cub is only a few months old. No one should be depraved enough to snatch her."

"It’s possible, but I’m not entirely sure. That’s why we split up, so I could co and check, just in case." Sang Luo was afraid that her little one’s special talent had been noticed by soone with ill intent.

"Give a map of the South Continent and the Insect King Palace. Make it as detailed as you possibly can."

Anubia took out two maps for her. Seeing Sang Luo turn to leave, he quickly grabbed her arm. "I’ll go with you!"

"No need. This Token and these maps are enough." Sang Luo didn’t want to drag him into this. She gave him a aningful glance. "You’re giving this to ... Aren’t you afraid I’ll stir up so trouble?"

Anubia gazed covetously at her charming face, a wicked smile playing on his lips. "If you can turn the entire Insect Clan upside down, that would be a testant to your skill!"

"Heh... But the Insect King is your father. Do you really not care?"

"He’s not my biological father. My real one was eaten by him long ago." He sneered, completely unconcerned.

’A Prince? I’m just a spare food supply. Within the Insect Clan, we prey on each other. The weak have only two paths: either pledge loyalty to a High Rank Insect, or beco their food.’

’The current Insect King is the most talented individual the Insect Clan has seen in a thousand years. His position is unshakeable...’

Anubia reached out with his other hand and caressed her flat abdon, his eyes flickering with hidden anticipation. "I’ve made inquiries. The three Wolf Pups you bore have even stronger talents than their Beastman father."

"If your womb can produce a King Rank Beastman, it can surely produce a King Rank Insect Beast."

"...Could it be... that you’re already carrying my child?"

Sang Luo understood. ’So that’s his ga. He wants a High Rank heir to challenge the Insect King. No wonder he brought so many Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures and so much Bone Marrow Cleansing Liquid last ti.’

’Tsk. Not a single one of these males is truly simple.’

’Still, if it’s all business and no feelings, I’m perfectly fine with that.’

"You can’t ask that; you’ll have to ask my belly. Besides, I just gave birth. Even a machine can’t run nonstop like that. You’d best drop the idea." Sang Luo waved her hand dismissively and turned to leave. "I’m going to find my daughter. You don’t need to follow ."

"The inner workings of the Insect Clan are convoluted and dangerous. If I don’t go with you, what will you do if sothing happens?"

He grew anxious and tried to chase after her, but found he couldn’t move. Lifting his gaze, he was shocked to see her sly, fox-like smile. He stamred, "You..."

Sang Luo walked up to him and planted a "MWUAH" of a kiss on his cheek, her eyes curving into innocent, pretty crescents. "Once I find my daughter, this binding will naturally disappear. Little Anu, see you around!"

After she spoke, Sang Luo’s figure vanished in an instant. The palace was suddenly empty, leaving Anubia all alone. His handso face was twisted with fury, and he let out a low, angry roar. ’That female! Not a single word she says is true!’

’I was so blinded by lust to believe she actually ca here for ...’

「...」

A spiral suspension bridge, built from tens of thousands of rectangular black stones and arm-thick, rusted chains with peeling paint, coiled around a giant black tower. The tower’s spire rose high like a sharp beast’s fang, soaring into the clouds as if to pierce the dim sky.

Sang Luo casually killed a mber of the Insect Clan and changed her appearance. Dressed in the grey-black clothes of an Insect Clan guard, she blended into the crowd.

She stood halfway across the suspension bridge and looked down.

Below was a dense, dark mass of Insect Clan troops, numbering at least in the tens of thousands.

By a conservative estimate, there were at least several hundred thousand mbers of the Insect Clan in the main camp. Cold sweat beaded in Sang Luo’s palms.

But she had no intention of asking Anubia for help.

For one, she didn’t want to drag him into her ss. For another, she didn’t trust him.

’The two of us have no real emotional foundation. His affection for is just the afterglow of passion, the pleasure of the flesh—the most fragile bond there is.’

"Hey, you there, stop! Where are you from? You look unfamiliar," an Insect Clan mber called out to her.

Another Insect Clan mber heard this and walked over. "I think I’ve seen this person before... Huh? Aren’t you on duty at the West Gate? What are you doing here at the Black Tower Concentration Camp?"

The Black Tower Concentration Camp was where the Insect Clan imprisoned the females they had captured.

Sang Luo produced the Token. "The Seventh Prince sent here on an errand. Please, don’t interfere with official business."

Upon hearing the Seventh Prince’s na, the Insect Clan guards beca extrely respectful. The hierarchy within the Clan was strict, and they dared not overstep their bounds in the slightest.

"So you’re one of the Seventh Prince’s n! Forgive our rudeness. You there, hurry up and open the gate!"

RUMBLE— A heavy stone gate dozens of feet high lifted open. The mont Sang Luo stepped inside, it slamd shut behind her.

Her vision was suddenly plunged into darkness, as if it were night.

The faint, chaotic sounds of crying and fighting could be heard.

Many people were imprisoned here.

A glance around revealed many Insect Clan guards, but having been told she was sent by the Prince, none of them ca looking for trouble.

Sang Luo went straight to the cells holding the females and ordered the guards stationed outside to leave.

The females’ cells were on the top floor of the Black Tower, where the conditions were slightly better. Each female was imprisoned in a separate cell. Most of them were in tattered clothes, with only a few scraps of fabric covering their private parts. Their exposed skin was covered in red marks, and the state of so was... heartbreaking and too difficult to describe. It was obvious they had suffered brutal treatnt.

Sang Luo quickly scanned the area with her spiritual power but didn’t find her little female cub.

"Has anyone among you seen a little white wolf, a cub only a few months old?"

Having suffered inhuman abuse for so long, the females in the cells were timid and afraid. They cowered in the corners, and no one dared to speak up.

From one cell, a slender hand gripped the iron bars. A female asked in a hoarse voice, "Who... are you?"

"Don’t worry, I’m not from the Insect Clan. I’m here looking for soone. Have any of you seen a small, white Wolf Pup? As a reward, I can get you out of here."

The females in the cells couldn’t hide their excitent. After a brief commotion, a female in another corner called out, "I’ve seen it!"

"As long as you get out of here, I’ll tell you where it is."

"Alright." Sang Luo stared intently at the iron cell gate. "I hope you really do know."

’Even if they don’t know where the Wolf Pup is, this trip won’t have been for nothing. I’ll do my best to save them. But if they’re trying to deceive , that’s another matter entirely.’

"Benefactor, rest assured, I’ve really seen it!"

"All of you, stand back." Without another word, Sang Luo took two steps back as a ghostly blue fla materialized in her palm.

The cell door, forged from black rock and Profound Iron, was instantly incinerated.

As if granted a new life, the females ran out and quickly gathered by her side.

A guard outside sensed sothing was wrong and rushed over to investigate. The next second, a flash of white light shot past, and his body was torn asunder.

More guards charged in, and without exception, all were torn apart in a spray of blood and gore!
