The manors contained all the wounded soldiers of the city. The City Lord sent people to search nearby and stand guard inside the city. However, nobody expected that Jiang Yi would be hiding among the casualties.
Nobody even bothered about the wounded barracks. The important people of the city did not even bother coming down to visit them. After all, the stench in the barracks was unbearable; and the place was far too dirty. People were lying around all over the place, whining, moaning, and cursing under their breaths.

In the city plaza, Jiang Yi spotted two huge castles belonging to the Demon-Killing Pavilion and the Battle God Pavilion respectively. His heart jumped. If he could enter the Demon-Killing Pavilion and ask for help, would he be able to leave the Dao Clan’s territory?
