Chapter 1333: Are You Reinforcents Sent by the Monkey?
The Golden Geocentric Flas!
This was a well-known type of flas in the Earth Emanations Domain. These flas were only present in the center of the world. Its temperatures were unbelievably high. Many fire-elental Chaos Beasts were born out of flas like this.
The scariest part of these flas was that they were corrosive. A single touch of even a drop would cause even dial-grade divine artifacts to lt. If Gu Mu had not been gravely injured, he would probably co as close as he could to Jiang Yi in order to kill him.
However, all he could do now was watch as Jiang Yi rushed as fast as he could toward the Golden Geocentric Flas. If Gu Mu went even a few kiloters closer, he would be rendered motionless from the intense pain. How would he still be able to kill Jiang Yi?
“What should I do?”
Once he was sure that there was no way he would be able to kill Jiang Yi, Gu Mu’s will to survive suddenly beca his priority. An idea surfaced in his mind; it was a great plan! He could make use of soone else to murder!
He knew formidable disguising techniques. If he could take on a disguise, the Ancient-Grade Chaos Beast would probably not be able to sense him. Instead, it would go after Jiang Yi. Then, Gu Mu can seize the opportunity to run away.
Chaos Beasts were born out of the Golden Geocentric Flas. Logically, they should not be afraid of these flas. In Chaos Beasts’ eyes, all humans were the sa, too. Once this beast loses sight of Gu Mu’s own aura, it would naturally turn to Jiang Yi instead.
“Alright!”

Gu Mu shouted out excitedly as a glow appeared around his body. He quickly turned into a red rock. The aura around his body disappeared as well. At last, there was no sign of life where he stood. It was almost as if he had really beco a rock.
“Wu-Wu—”
The Chaos Beast cried out. It quickly reached where Gu Mu had been standing, but on scanning its surroundings, it suddenly realized that Gu Mu was nowhere to be found. Unspeakable joy rose up in Gu Mu’s heart. Jiang Yi would surely die this ti, wouldn’t he? He could even take this chance to escape; this mission was going to be a success.
As expected!
The Chaos Beasts looked around for a little longer and quickly discovered that Jiang Yi was standing there. It imdiately charged towards Jiang Yi. It was not afraid of the Golden Geocentric Flas in the least. These flas had given birth to them. If they were of the sa elent, why should the Chaos Beast fear it?
“Golden Geocentric Flas!”
Jiang Yi was very close to the flas now. There were only ten balls of the flas revolving around one another now. Even the molten lava around them could not co near the flas. The flas were golden. Thus, the balls of flas looked like ten balls of glittering gold. Jiang Yi gasped at the splendid sight in front of him. Even the God King was afraid of these flas. How scary must these flas be?
“Wu-Wu—”
The sound of a beast roaring behind him yanked him back to reality. When he felt the beast’s aura coming closer to him at rapid speed, he stiffened. The God King did not even dare to co near these flas; why was this Chaos Beast unafraid of the flas? Could it be that it did not fear this type of flas?
“Fuse!”
At that mont, the cogs in Jiang Yi’s mind turned once again. He only thought of one solution: he had to absorb these ten balls of Golden Geocentric Flas into his ninth star sphere. He had to fuse it together with the rged Flas in the sphere, so that his power could increase. If he managed to rge these three types of flas into a new fla and even that new fla could not hurt this Chaos Beast, then he would die for sure.
With one hand, he held out his Fire Spirit Pearl toward the Golden Geocentric Flas. The ten balls of fla were imdiately absorbed by the pearl. Jiang Yi then used his Fire-Cultivating Dao to absorb the flas into his own body. At last, he channeled the flas into his ninth star sphere.
“They’re fused!”
Jiang Yi was beyond excited. The Golden Geocentric Flas fused with the remaining flas he had in his body and ford a whole new type of fla. This fla was made up of three different colors: blue, red, and gold. There was not much of it; Jiang Yi only had ten balls!
The Chaos Beast was getting even closer now. The two sickle-like front legs carried with them a cold, killing intent as the beast charged toward Jiang Yi. At that mont, Jiang Yi felt breathless. The suppressive force from the beast was pressing down on him so that he felt like he could not even move. The shadow of the Death God was already engulfing him. That was when he exploded, “Flas, co out!”
A ball of gold, blue, and red flas appeared in his hand. At that very mont, the far-away Gu Mu could not maintain his disguise any longer. He cried out in agony. The lava stirred once again, and the Chaos Beast retreated with his sickle-like legs in fear. It wanted to run away.
“Go!”
How could Jiang Yi give up a chance as good as this? He struck his Fire Dragon Sword down and caused ten wind dragons to erge. The wind dragons dragged the flas forward and easily closed the thirty ters between the beast and him.
Howl-howl…
The Chaos Beasts began to writhe in pain. The flas hit its underbelly, which imdiately began to corrode at a frightening speed. In just two or three seconds, half of its body disappeared. With what was left of its body, it rolled several rounds on the ground. Finally, it stopped moving. Jiang Yi’s new rged Flas had actually burned this beast alive!
“That ferocious?”
Jiang Yi was secretly shocked and overjoyed. However, he regained his composure very quickly. His ring flashed as he kept the corpse of the Chaos Beast inside it. Then, he charged forward. Gu Mu was still crying out in pain. He must have been injured by the high temperatures of Jiang Yi’s new rged Flas. Once again, how could he miss out on an opportunity like this?
“Don’t. Don’t kill , Jiang Yi. Even if you kill , you will not be able to run away.”
Gu Mu was critically injured now. His skin and his muscles had all been burned. He could not even move, and his blood and heavenly powers could no longer circulate. If Jiang Yi summoned one more ball of flas, he would turn into barbecued at through and through.
What he could not figure out was how a small ant like Jiang Yi could beco so powerful so suddenly.
Gu Mu held on to a final shred of hope of survival. He hesitated for a while and then said, “Jiang Yi, I can take you with . I can bring you to another city. We can run away from the Battle God Pavilion Luo Clan and Earth Emanations Pavilion Luo Clan. As long as you don’t kill , I can give you another superior-grade divine artifact as well. I have six hundred thousand divine roots with now. I will give them all to you.”
“Are you reinforcents sent by the monkey[1]?”
Jiang Yi flew as fast as he could towards Gu Mu, his hand still glowing. He was ready to release the rged Flas at any ti. His lips curled in a mocking smile as he said, “Once I kill you, won’t all the things in your interspatial ring beco mine? Is your brain spoiled?”
Gu Mu’s words made Jiang Yi’s mind start to work. Once he ca within three kiloters of Gu Mu, he stopped and said in a low voice, “Since you don’t want to die, I’ll give you a chance. Beco my slave. I only need your loyalty for five years! I will return your freedom to you after that. How’s that? Make your choice: Die or beco my slave.”
“Uh—”
Gu Mu was trembling. This brat wanted him to beco his slave? He was just a Heaven God, and he wanted to take a God King in as his own slave? That was the biggest joke in the world! Five years? Five years was a short ti, but his life would be in Jiang Yi’s hands completely. Who knew if the five years would turn into five hundred?
“Alright!”
Gu Mu pondered over it, and his heart hardened. Jiang Yi was just a Heaven God. How strong could his soul spirit be? If he could take the chance and use his own powerful soul to overwhelm Jiang Yi’s, he had a chance of causing Jiang Yi to lose his spirit. If he managed to do that, not only would he manage to survive, but he would also be able to obtain Jiang Yi’s powerful and precious fire-elental pearl.
He mumbled to himself and asked in a pained manner, “Five years? If you don’t return my soul spirit to when the ti is up, I will have no way of obtaining freedom. What’s more, I’m from Earth Emanations Pavilion. If soone finds out that I have beco your soul slave, I will die either way.”
Jiang Yi smiled. “I, Jiang Yi, have an indomitable spirit. I will keep my word. What’s more, you have no choice but to trust . As for Earth Emanations Pavilion, no one will find out if you and I don’t speak up about it. This is between you, , Heaven, and Earth. Who will know about our relationship? Don’t worry. I will not let you die so easily. After all, with you by my side, my safety is ensured.”
Gu Mu was waiting for Jiang Yi to say this. He pretended to be in great pain as he said, “Jiang Yi, if you are willing to make a Heavenly Thearch Blood Oath that you would return my soul to after five years, I will beco your slave for five years.”
“Alright!”
Jiang Yi was beyond excited. Who would have thought that a God King like Gu Mu would have no backbone?
If he could get this God King to be his soul slave, he would beco much more powerful. It would then be much easier for him to go to Blue Lion City to look for Jiang Xiaonu. This was what Jiang Yi thought, but he had no idea what greater dangers lay before him.
[1] This is a famous line in ‘Journey to the West’, a well-known Chinese drama series. It is now a common line used to make fun of the other party.
