Chapter 1310: Beheaded
The purple-haired gentleman and company were just about to step onto the boat when they heard Jiang Yi calling out to them. They stopped, confused, and turned around. The purple-haired gentleman glanced at Jiang Yi, puzzled. He asked, “Who is your young mistress?”
In the ti he took to ask this question, Jiang Yi successfully closed the distance between them by six hundred ters. The ring in his hand lit up as he retrieved a letter from it expressionlessly. “My young mistress’ surna is Luo. This is a letter from her to you!”
“Young Lady Luo?”
The purple-haired gentleman looked astonished. He beca overjoyed at once. “Which Young Lady Luo? Young Lady Luo Qingyan?”
“Hold it right there!”
Jiang Yi was already a few hundred ters closer to him now. The guard next to the purple-haired gentleman suddenly shouted out words of warning. Jiang Yi had appeared from inside the castle. If he was here to deliver a letter, he should have appeared from outside. At the very least, he should have directly looked for the gentleman inside the castle. The timing of his appearance was especially suspicious.
Another guard prepared himself secretly as well. In a cold voice, he shouted, “Just throw the letter over. That will do.”
Jiang Yi halted and threw the letter over to them. In a low voice, he responded, “My young mistress said that she wanted you to co by her house tomorrow...”
The purple-haired gentleman caught the letter with one hand but did not bother to open it. Instead, he beca nervous and cautious as he asked, “I asked if your young mistress is Young Lady Luo Qingyan.”
The remaining guards prepared themselves in a rather relaxed manner. Jiang Yi was from the Blue Snake Clan. His skills were not considered too powerful. They guessed that he would not pull any tricks with them. The most important thing was... they were just outside Crazed God Castle.
“You’ll understand once you read the letter.”
Jiang Yi replied in a low voice. The purple-haired gentleman quickly opened the letter. The remaining four guards subconsciously stole peeks at the letter as well. At that exact mont, Jiang Yi moved. He suddenly bowed and cupped his hands. “Greetings, Young Mistress.”
“Uh?”
The purple-haired gentleman and company were fixated on figuring out the identity of this Young Lady Luo. On seeing Jiang Yi bow to soone behind them, they naturally turned around. Jiang Yi imdiately shot towards them like a sharp blade, the killing intent intensifying around his body. The Fire Dragon Sword appeared in his hand, flashing blue and red. At once, he summoned the Divinity Slayer and caused three formidable Fire Dragons to pressure the five people. This would ensure that they could not run away.
“Stop!”
Ten or so guards just outside the castle suddenly shouted. A terrifying suppressive force ca over Jiang Yi. They had been keeping an eye on the situation. Jiang Yi’s strange actions had captured their attention, but nobody expected that Jiang Yi would be so brave. He dared to take action just outside Crazed God Castle? What’s more, his target was the purple-haired gentleman.
“How brave! You dared to assassinate my young master? Do you have any idea who my young master is?”
The four guards were enraged. The rings their hands lit up at once as they each summoned a weapon to attack Jiang Yi. Divine artifact battle armors appeared around their bodies. The battle armor around the purple-haired gentleman’s body looked the most elegant, and its aura was the most frightening. Jiang Yi guessed that it was top-grade divine equipnt.
Before the four guards could attack Jiang Yi, his Divinity Slayer had been summoned. Three Fire Dragons appeared, but they did not seem that frightening to Jiang Yi. They were sure that their battle armors could at least protect them.
What scared the four guards and the purple-haired gentleman were the multiple balls of blue and red flas behind the Fire Dragons. The mont those flas appeared, the air seed to twist and turn. Terrifying heat waves were traveling towards them. Even though they were wearing divine battle armors, they felt the burning sensation from those flas. Their blood began to boil, and their heavenly powers felt ssed up. There was no way they could even deal attacks against Jiang Yi.
“Young Master, run!”
The four guards cried out at once. At that mont, they knew they would die for sure. Their last thought was to help their young master escape, or their own families would be implicated as well.
The purple-haired gentleman’s divine artifact battle armor was obviously top-grade. It lit up at that mont, but the high temperatures still managed to seep through. He wanted to run, but the Divinity Slayer was making use of heaven and earth essence energy to hold him down. While his body kept burning, his heavenly powers were ssed up. What’s more, it was obvious that this man was a wastrel. His battle skills were very weak. It was very likely that he had never been attacked before. He was completely caught by surprise.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
The ten or so God Generals from the castle flew over. So of them imdiately summoned spatial dao patterns in an effort to stop Jiang Yi’s assassination. However, Jiang Yi was standing too close to the purple-haired gentleman at that ti. By the ti they flew up into the air, Jiang Yi’s Divinity Slayer had already landed on three guards’ bodies. The balls of flas followed closely behind, slamming into their bodies.

There were four pained cries. The four of their divine artifact battle armors caught fire. Then, their bodies disintegrated into nothing. The purple-haired gentleman’s battle armor must have been above dial-grade. It was still lit up, and it suffered no damage whatsoever.
While the divine artifact battle armor remained undestroyed, the purple-haired gentleman did not. His entire body felt like it was burning up. He felt as though he were being burned alive. When he saw blue and red flas appear in Jiang Yi’s hands once more, he knew he was facing death. Anger rose up in his chest as he roared, “Stop it! I am from the Battle God Pavilion Luo Clan[1]. My grandfather is the Pavilion Lord of Divine Eagle City’s Battle God Pavilion. If you dare to kill , you will die for sure!”
“The Pavilion Lord of Divine Eagle City’s Battle God Pavilion?”
Jiang Yi’s eyes widened. He knew that this purple-haired gentleman was soone important, but he did not think that he had such a noble background. Now, he had so understanding of the Battle God Pavilion. It was the strongest pavilion in the Higher Domain, and its people were spread out across the Heaven Domain. In the Earth Domain itself, Battle God Pavilion was the core power that would be able to defend against the Netherworld Realm. Compared to the Battle God Pavilion, Demon-Killing Pavilion was not even considered strong. Of course... compared to the Earth Emanations Pavilion, the Demon-Killing Pavilion was still of a higher tier.
The recruitnt process for Battle God Pavilion was extrely strict, but anyone who could enter was considered the cream of the crop. People who stood out within the pavilion itself were probably considered the best among the human race. The purple-haired gentleman’s grandfather was the Pavilion Lord of Divine Eagle City’s Battle God Pavilion. That ant that he was one of the strongest people within Divine Eagle City. If he allowed soone to kill his family mber and get away, how would he keep his chin up?

Amidst the chaos, Jiang Yi finally understood what was happening. He hardened his heart. Since he already offended this man, it was too late to turn back now. Jiang Yi had already seen how violent this purple-haired gentleman could get back in the Crazed God Castle. If Jiang Yi did not kill him once and for all, he could sit back and wait to die.

He struck his Fire Dragon Sword down once again, congealing several balls of flas. They shot toward the purple-haired gentleman and engulfed him. The unbelievably high temperatures activated the automatic defensive powers on the city walls of Crazed God Castle. The castle lit up, and the restrictive aura spread outward.
“It’s over...”
The guards from Crazed God Castle sighed softly. The purple-haired gentleman’s battle armor was good stuff; it was a piece of dial-grade divine equipnt, and it was stronger than most other equipnt of its grade. It was a pity that the gentleman himself was a good-for-nothing. His battle skills were a ss. These flas were so powerful that the purple-haired gentleman was being burned alive by them. His entire body caught flas, and all that was left of him were his pained cries.
Swish!
Jiang Yi rushed forward and quickly retracted his flas. At the sa ti, he grabbed the purple-haired gentleman’s detached silver divine artifact battle armor, his interspatial ring, and his divine core. Jiang Yi struck his Fire Dragon Sword down hard again, cutting off the purple-haired gentleman’s burnt head. He kept it in his ring.
“Hmph!”
The expressions of the ten or so guards of Crazed God Castle hardened. One of the God Generals’ spatial nomological powers managed to cause the space next to Jiang Yi to start fluctuating. Jiang Yi felt as though he were being thrown back and forth in a raging sea. There was no way he could run away at all.
“Brat, you are quite brave. You dared to kill soone just outside Crazed God Castle, and that person is the young master of the Battle God Pavilion Luo Clan at that!”
One of the God Generals flew over to Jiang Yi. He scanned Jiang Yi from-head-to-toe with a cool gaze. “You’re even pretending to be from Blue Snake Clan? I’m telling you: even if you disguise as soone from Purple Fiend Celestial Clan, you will still die today. Take him!”
