C26 – Danger
“I found it,” Tan Chong said, his smile carrying a deeper aning.
He wasn’t lying this ti; he had indeed acquired the Pulse Pistol by collecting fragnts.
Whether Ming Dong believed him or not was of no concern to him.
Ming Dong was taken aback.

Seeing that he accepted, Jiang Qiu’s face lit up with a radiant smile.
“Mao Zhe, how much longer to fix the Base Car?” Ming Dong inquired, a sense of urgency in his voice.
The noise they made while dispatching the Zombie Wolf had been significant. If more zombies were drawn to them and the Base Car wasn’t operational, they would be in grave danger.
“About five minutes,” Mao Zhe responded.
“Good, but let’s keep the pace up,” Ming Dong said, his tension easing slightly.
At that mont, Tan Chong faintly detected the sound of footsteps.
With each passing second, the sound grew louder.
“Zombies are approaching!” Tan Chong furrowed his brow and peered outside the car.
The starlight outside was faint.
Using the dim light, Tan Chong quickly spotted a multitude of zombies.
He saw thousands of zombies!
“Zombie Tide!” Ming Dong also noticed the zombies, his face turning pale with fear.
A Zombie Tide was a massive swarm of zombies, with the minimum number being 10,000.
And a gathering of 10,000 zombies was rely considered a Small-scale Zombie Tide.
So Zombie Tides could swell to several hundred thousand, even reaching into the millions.
A Zombie Tide with millions of zombies was terd a Super Zombie Tide.
Even a large settlent like Vajra City could be flattened in an instant by a Super Zombie Tide.
“What do we do?” Ming Dong asked, his voice trembling.
Despite having faced countless hardships, he was still incredibly nervous in the face of a Zombie Tide.
Cao Rann and Mao Zhe stopped worrying about repairing the Base Car, their faces darkening with dread.
“We’re as good as dead,” Mao Zhe wailed.
“Shut up!”
Tan Chong stepped forward and silenced him with a swift kick, knocking him out cold.
Zombies have exceptionally sharp hearing, and Mao Zhe’s loud crying could easily draw their attention.
