All eyes turned to Amira as she remained silent for a mont, processing everything.

She being seated at the center, studied the expressions of those around her as doubt lingered—not in Aiden’s idea, but in whether they had the manpower to pull it off.

Feeling Aiden’s gaze on her, she finally smiled. "After going through both Bella and Aiden’s updates, we can all agree on one thing—our numbers are severely lacking."

Her voice was calm, but it carried the weight of reality. "We don’t have enough people to properly secure and manage our ho, let alone execute large-scale missions. And what we is need more people but we also need a practical way to train them without stretching ourselves too thin."

"So, here’s what I propose we currently have around 10k newly awakened people right," She leaned forward, fingers tapping lightly against the table. "so let recruit 2,000 of most promising young individuals from them and train them—not just for defending the wall or patrolling, but from the ground up like we were trained back in our special units and covert divisions."

Aiden’s brows furrowed slightly, already predicting what she was going to say next as he heard her next words. "We prioritize the young and promising talents and I know experience is valuable, but we need individuals who can be molded from scratch, whose bodies and minds can adapt faster. That way, by the ti they finish training, they won’t just be average fighters, but specialists."

Murmurs filled the room as people nodded in agreent.

"I know what you’re thinking," Amira continued. "Even if we train them like this, then they won’t be ready in ti for our next operation or any ti soon. And you’re right because I have no intention on deploying them imdiately."

Aiden exhaled, his arms crossed. "That’s great, but what about our imdiate problem? We don’t have the numbers to push into towns and cities right now."

Amira nodded, as if she expected that exact question. "I understand that’s why my plan is simple."

She straightened, her voice carrying unwavering confidence. "First, these 2,000 new recruits will train alongside the 1,000 we already recruited for manning the walls. They will train under the guidance of the 500 experienced fighters who are currently assigned to internal security. This way, they learn faster, gain discipline, and develop into actual soldiers rather than just a militia."

She turned to Aiden. "As for your external force unit—you take your entire force and sweep every village on second-phase zone we decided first while avoiding engaging with the towns and cities. Not only that we will also eliminate the threats, clear out any dangers, and rescue everyone who required our help and even those who not."

"We will also establish a stable wired network and also few secure underground outpost so that we don’t be disconnected and able to provide backup if needed." Taking a pause she continued. "That alone will give the new recruits under you the experience they need before we push into more complicated operations."

Aiden processed her words—it was a solid plan, but sothing still didn’t sit right with him. He wasn’t against training new recruits, but even if they succeeded, the rest of the recruits training inside the basin wouldn’t get the sa exposure to combat. What good was training them in a controlled environnt when the real fight was so much worse?

Just as he was about to voice his concern, Amira interjected. "Once that’s done, we set our sights on Vernon Town."

She brought up a map, highlighting the west of the basin. The town was strategically placed, isolated enough to avoid being overwheld but close enough to serve as a critical foothold. "One-fourth of the provincial army was stationed near Vernon before the surge."

The mont those words left her mouth, everyone imdiately understood her intent.

Aiden’s eyes narrowed, his voice careful. "You’re suggesting that instead of blindly throwing our new recruits into a battle they aren’t prepared for, we recruit the military remnants from Vernon?"

Amira t his gaze, calm and unwavering. "Exactly as those soldiers are already trained and they don’t need months of conditioning while having discipline, tactics, and combat experience. If they’ve awakened, that’s even better—they can reinforce our ranks imdiately, making them far more effective than raw recruits."

Bella, who had been listening with a sharp gaze, frowned slightly. "And what if they refuse? Or worse, what if we can’t trust them?"

Amira leaned back, arms crossed. "We won’t judge them all the sa. First, we assess the situation. We find out who among them is still trustworthy and who is beyond redemption. I don’t need all of them. I just need the ones who still hold their values—the ones who still believe in protecting people, not abusing their power."

Aiden’s expression softened slightly at that. Even he had co here to protect people—to ensure that the Federation’s citizens weren’t left to fend for themselves. He understood her reasoning completely.

Amira then turned her attention back to Bella. "If there’s any struggle—if soone tries to backstab us—they’ll soon realize that we are not the kind of people you can ss with."

A quiet intensity filled the air. "First, we take control of the town."

She tapped on the map, zooming in. "If the military is stationed nearby, they will have already taken so degree of control over Vernon town. But I doubt they deployed every soldier there, so many will be in the military camp, and others will be in the town enforcing their authority. That’s our advantage."

"If we manage to take over the town before the soldiers at the military camp even notice, then subjugating the rest will be much easier." Everyone could see the brilliance of the plan, but before anyone could comnt, Amira turned to gan. "Do you know who’s in charge there?"

gan’s expression darkened imdiately."You’re not going to like this."

The way she said it made the atmosphere drop by several degrees.

Bella raised an eyebrow."Let guess… soone as bad as Cole?"

gan scoffed. "Worse as the person in charge is one of the most corrupt n to ever wear a uniform. He climbed the ranks not through skill or rit, but through his family’s influence. If I had to bet, I’d say he’s turned Vernon into his personal kingdom by now."

A heavy silence settled over the room.

"He’s not just a criminal in uniform," gan continued. "He’s an opportunist. The kind of man who sees chaos as a chance to grab power. He’s exactly like Cole—except he has more resources, more firepower, and an actual trained military force at his disposal."

"I won’t lie," she admitted, "he’s going to be a problem."
