The large conference room was already bustling with activity. The overhead lights cast a warm glow, illuminating the vast space that could comfortably hold over a thousand people.

At one end of the room, multiple monitors flickered, displaying so real-ti surveillance footage, strategic graphs, maps, and other critical data streams.

To the right of the monitors, a massive, detailed map of the entire Icelorn Basin and its surroundings was mounted on the wall while right next to it was another map of the entire Federation, marked with strategic locations, routes, and important zones.

Colored pins and markings were scattered across them, signifying areas of interest, cleared territories, and locations that still needed reinforcent.

In the center of the room, a large table occupied the space—a commanding presence, surrounded by ten chairs. These weren’t just any seats; they belonged to the key figures leading the operations of different departnt. Around the room, additional rows of chairs lined the walls, allowing other important personnel to sit in during discussions.

People continued to filter in, taking their seats, murmuring amongst themselves in quiet anticipation.

Though the room was partially filled, everyone present knew the weight of this eting—only the elites of both Aiden’s Dragon Unit and Amira’s Phoenix Unit were authorized to attend these afternoon briefings.

However, today, new faces were among them—individuals who had proven themselves capable over the past weeks, so coming from the military facility itself, who choose to stay after evaluating the situation while others were skilled civilians who had been carefully selected for leadership roles within the town.

Soon, the room settled, and all ten seats at the main table were occupied.

Amira, seated in one of the most central seats, exuded an air of quiet authority as she looked over the room.

While sitting on the rest nine seats were Aiden and Bella who took seat on left and right side of her, and now responsible for external and internal security of their stronghold and .

Next to them were Elias and Ezzie, heading the external recon, communication and surveillance departnt one of the most trusted tacticians.

Layla, Amira’s sister, was also among them and was in charge of research and developnt departnt. Tommy were as was responsible for the rescue and survival unit tasked to perform task outside regularly.

Across from them, on the other side of the table, sat Aiden with:

Tommy, his best friend and right-hand man, also leading tactical operations. Vion, another trusted officer, responsible for managing civilian affairs. Izzy, one of Aiden’s best field operatives.

While the last three seats were occupied by: gan, a newly appointed leader for logistics departnt who responsible to organize and manage resources. And the other two other skilled individuals, chosen from among the civilian population and forr military personnel for their expertise in engineering and strategic defense.

Everyone knew their roles, but there was still a mont of silence as they waited.

Amira leaned forward slightly, tapping her fingers against the smooth surface of the table before she finally spoke.

"Alright, let’s get started," Amira began, her voice calm but laced with an undeniable authority. "First of all, I want to address sothing important regarding the structure of these etings. From now on, we will not be holding these gatherings regularly. Instead, we will et twice a week, and if any ergency or significant situation arises, only then will we hold a joint eting like this one."

Everyone around the table listened intently, and the mbers nodded in agreent. Aiden, though not entirely surprised, felt a sense of understanding settle within him. It was a practical decision. Not every day could require a full-on council, especially since many of them were already tied up with their own teams and responsibilities.

"I think we can all agree that regular etings aren’t always necessary," Aiden murmured, looking at the others. "We can delegate information and updates, and I think everyone has their hands full. Twice a week sounds good."

Seeing that no one objected, Amira gave a brief nod before moving on. "That being said, we will still maintain daily reports through the chain of command as those in charge of are expected to gather feedback from your respective teams and report directly to your higher-ups or communicate with each other. This way, we remain connected, and the flow of information doesn’t halt."

There was a general consensus in the room, and a few murmurs of agreent passed between the mbers. Everyone seed to accept the change, knowing that it would streamline things and prevent unnecessary etings that could drain their focus.

She glanced around the room, her gaze falling on a few new faces. "Now, before we move forward, I want to take a mont to acknowledge sothing important. You may have noticed so new faces in this eting and I won’t go into introductions as you all are already familiar with each other and recognize their contributions."

She paused, letting the weight of her words settle. "These individuals have risen to the occasion—proving themselves capable, not only in their dedication but also in their ability to manage and lead and have earned their place here."

A quiet, appreciative applause filled the room. It wasn’t loud or forced—just a silent agreent that these individuals had indeed proven themselves.

With that, Amira nodded towards Elias and Ezzie, who were seated at the opposite end of the table. "Elias, Ezzie—you’re in charge of communication and external reconnaissance so you can start with your updates."

Elias rose from his seat, walking to the large monitors at the front of the room as he t Ezzie’s gaze, who gave him a short nod before tapping a few buttons, bringing up a set of detailed maps on the screen.

As the image on the display zood in, revealing an intricate map of Icelorn Basin and its surrounding territories. He adjusted his stance, clearing his throat before speaking. "Today’s eting is crucial for multiple reasons, as what we decide will have long-term implications on the future of our stronghold."

"As you can see," He pointing at the central screen. "if we take basin as our center point, we have successfully secured a 200-kiloter periter around it."

The map zood in, showing marked zones, checkpoints, and the established communication lines. "And not only have we established a stable communication network, but we have also set up multiple underground outposts at strategic locations—represented by these markers"

A few mbers leaned forward, studying the screen more closely as the image of the different outposts displayed on other screen. "These outposts serve as both surveillance and ergency fallback points. Each one is secured underground, making them difficult to detect. They are strategically hidden to ensure minimal exposure to outside threats."

Amira and Aiden listened intently, their expressions neutral but focused as they had both been deeply involved in the planning, but this was the first ti they were seeing the full report laid out in detail.
