Aiden didn’t give them the chance to react. With a flick of his wrist, flas erupted around him, stretching out in an arc before slamming into the nearest attackers. Soldiers scrambled, dodging the blast, but the heat was overwhelming, forcing them back.

"No killing." Aiden’s voice rang out over the comms. "Disable them, knock them out, bind them if necessary, but no one dies."

His team acknowledged his order. Within monts, Aiden’s squad dispersed, engaging in quick, precise takedowns.

Despite being outnumbered, Aiden’s forces showed no signs of weakness. His soldiers were swift, coordinated, and relentless.

Many among them were awakened, their abilities granting them an edge against the opposition. Earth and water awakened fighters worked together, restraining soldiers with hardened stone bindings or trapping them in thick, immobilizing ice., but none of his soldiers struck with lethal intent.

Instead, they focused on incapacitating the enemy, disarming them, knocking them unconscious, or pinning them with elental restraints.

Grant watched the battlefield with growing frustration. His n—his army—were being humiliated. He clenched his fists, anger surging inside him.

"They’re holding back!" Grant snarled. "They’re making us look like fools!"

Anger boiled inside him as this wasn’t just a battle—it was to return the humiliation he suffered in Aiden’s hand but the suddenly realization hit him hard, this could be used as an advantage.

"Enough!" Grant roared, stepping forward. "No more playing around! Attack with everything you have! No rcy!"

His hand moved to his belt, gripping the small vial hidden there., he pulled the cork and downed the shimring liquid in a single gulp. Imdiately a dense aura surged around him, his strength amplifying. He wouldn’t play into Aiden’s hands anymore.

A violent surge of energy erupted from him. His aura darkened, pulsing with an unnatural intensity. His veins glowed faintly beneath his skin, his muscles expanding, strength coursing through his body like a raging storm.

Aiden, who had been calmly observing him, narrowed his eyes. There was no way Grant had naturally reached this level in such a short ti.

Then it clicked—the drug, the Rienfeld family’s research center and thought they must have been experinting with power-enhancing serums.

Aiden’s lips curled slightly so that’s how far they’d have researched not bad on relying on artificial ans to gain strength but is their any side effect he thought as he absorbed Grant rushing toward him?

But before he could make his move, a bone-chilling cold spread through the air and he battlefield fell into a sudden hush as the temperature plumted.

Frost curled along the ground, creeping over the battlefield like an ethereal fog.

Aiden barely had ti to react before he sensed it—multiple presences surrounding the battlefield. But amidst them, one presence stood out above all.

Hers. At the far end of the battlefield, Amira stood, her gaze glowing with an icy blue light.

"Fall back." Elias voice carried across the field, sharp and commanding. "Everyone from Aiden’s squad—fall back imdiately!"

His tone left no room for hesitation. Aiden’s soldiers hesitated for only a second before following the command. They didn’t question it. Instinct told them that whatever was coming was not sothing they wanted to be caught in.

Aiden himself didn’t interject. If Amira was making a move, he trusted her judgnt.

And then—she moved as the ground beneath them cracked as colossal ice walls shot up from the earth, encasing the battlefield. Three massive barriers of ice, each one cutting through the field in strategic locations.

Aiden’s eyes widened slightly, impressed as she hadn’t just attacked—she had separated them.

More than 60-70% of Grant’s soldiers were now trapped inside these ice enclosures. They were cut off from the battle, their only option was to break through—but Amira had calculated this well.

She had chosen those who lacked the ability to escape ordinary soldiers as they have were the ones with strong elental abilities.

"Damn it!" Grant roared, realizing too late what had happened. "You think a little ice is enough to stop us?!"

He turned, his face twisted with frustration,

His frustration fueled his strength as he dashed toward one of the ice walls, preparing to smash through it, although realizing most of his forces were trapped..

But he never made it as Aiden intercepted him in an instant.

A burst of fire and thunder after it clashed against Grant’s surging power, forcing him to halt. Aiden’s expression remained calm, unbothered, even as the pressure of Grant’s amplified energy bore down on him.

Grant snarled, his veins bulging, his newfound strength burning through his body at an unnatural rate.

Aiden, however, was rely waiting as he could already tell—the drug was strong, but it dulled Grant’s senses, made him reckless, impatient.

"Co on, then," Aiden said, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Let’s see if that artificial power of yours can last long enough."

While Aiden and Grant clashed, as Elias led a group of his team mbers toward Tommy, their focus now on the evacuation.

"We need to move now," Aiden said, urgency in his voice. "We take the civilians and head for the Basin. Aiden and Amira can hold the battlefield."

Tommy nodded, his mind sharp and calculating. But before they could make a move—

A sudden surge of killing intent swept over them. "Incoming!" one of Aiden n shouted.

More than 300 enemy soldiers erged from the shadows, surrounding them. Among them, 20 to 30 awakened individuals stood out, their auras thick with raw power.

There was no warning, no demand for surrender.

They attacked as Bullets rained down. Abilities surged forward in a coordinated assault.

Amira turned sharply, raising her hand to summon another ice barrier— but she was too late.

Tommy stepped in.

"Do you really think we’re just for show?" he muttered, his voice tinged with defiance.

With a swift motion, he slamd his hands together, and a shimring barrier erupted around the convoy, shielding the civilians and soldiers’ families.

Bullets and energy blasts collided with the barrier, sending shockwaves rippling across its surface. But it held. For now. Tommy’s jaw clenched as he felt the energy drain from him rapidly. The barrier was strong, but it was consuming his energy at an alarming rate. "Damn it…" he muttered under his breath. "This won’t hold for long." Reinforcents and Tactical Defense
