No sooner had the male students finally dispersed than Yasaka found herself surrounded all over again—this ti by a circle of eager male teachers before she could even stand up.
The faculty office at Kuoh Academy was spacious, and by coincidence, Ren Kuroda worked in this very sa room.
Ever since Ren had joined the school, his striking looks had brought nothing but suffering to the other n in the office.
There was no mystery to it. The office had originally housed quite a few single female teachers, but ever since Ren showed up, his effortlessly chard, "winner-in-life" lifestyle had been force-feeding them a daily diet of secondhand romance.
It wasn't as though the male teachers hadn't considered giving him a hard ti. But after so thorough digging, they discovered that Ren's backing was anything but ordinary.
On one hand was their secure livelihood. On the other, their fragile happiness.
Having been battered enough by reality, they ultimately chose the forr without hesitation.
After all, as a private institution, Kuoh Academy offered exceptionally generous salaries and benefits—far beyond the norm.
Yasaka, with her unique aura, breathtaking beauty, and overwhelming figure, naturally drew the attention of every single man in the office the mont she was assigned here.
And they had even gone out of their way to confirm it—
This stunning new teacher was still single.
To avoid being beaten to the punch by Ren—the so-called "king of the dating seas"—the male teachers didn't give Yasaka a single chance to speak with him. In their minds, as long as they seized the initiative first, even Ren would have no opening.
Watching Yasaka get completely surrounded, Ren calmly ignored the pleading look she shot in his direction. With an air of total composure, he simply gathered his materials, preparing to head to class.
There was a saying, after all—beauty brings disaster.
And Yasaka wasn't just beautiful. She was a literal fox spirit.
Technically, she was single—but her daughter was already old enough to run errands. Then again, given Yasaka's looks, even if these n knew that, they probably wouldn't mind gaining an adorable child along with her.
"Thank you all for your enthusiasm," Yasaka said with a gentle smile. "But although I'm new to Kuoh Academy, I already have soone I know here. As for getting familiar with the campus, I can simply ask him for help… wouldn't you agree, Ren… sensei?"
The mont he heard her say that, Ren knew things were about to go south.
He had just been about to slip away quietly—but he hadn't expected Yasaka to call him out so openly.
Feeling the wave of hostile gazes crashing into his back, Ren froze mid-step. Slowly, stiffly, like a machine with a jamd gear, he turned his head around.
"Y-Yasaka-sensei, what are you talking about…? I'm actually new here myself, so I'm not that familiar with the school either…"
"Isn't that perfect? We're both new, so we can explore the campus together and get acquainted with the surroundings." Yasaka tilted her head slightly, her smile turning teasing. "Or could it be… Ren-sensei is feeling shy? That can't be, right? After all, we've already been living together for quite so ti now."
"LIVING TOGETHER?!"
The collective cry echoed through the office like a thunderclap.
Ren could practically hear sothing shatter—no, multiple things—inside the minds of everyone present.
The male teachers who had been enthusiastically inviting Yasaka just monts ago were now staring at Ren with more than simple hostility.
This was killing intent.
Their worst fears had co true. The angel in their eyes had already fallen victim—and far faster than they'd ever imagined.
Was being handso really enough to get away with anything?!
"Ren-sensei… is that true? You're really living together with Yasaka-sensei?"
"There must be so kind of misunderstanding, right? I heard both of you were single!"
It wasn't just the male teachers who were shaken. Even the female teachers in the office looked visibly stunned, as if struck by a heavy blow.
Sensing just how popular Ren was at Kuoh Academy, Yasaka seed to decide—almost instinctively—to stake her claim.
With a quick step forward, she closed the distance between them. Before Ren could react, she wrapped herself around one of his arms, pressing it snugly into her ample chest.
"We're not just living together," she added sweetly, "we've bathed together and even slept together too. And—"
Thunk!
She didn't get to finish.
Ren had already flicked her forehead with a sharp knock.
"I think everyone's misunderstanding," Ren said quickly, forcing a composed smile. "Yasaka and I are living together, but that's because we're siblings."
Originally, he had planned to pretend he didn't know her. But if he let her keep talking, his reputation would be beyond saving.
So, left with no choice, Ren declared that they were brother and sister—and that was the reason they lived under the sa roof.
The mont those words sank in, the atmosphere in the office shifted dramatically.
The hostility vanished.
In its place ca sothing else entirely—
Eagerness. Flattery.
"So that ans he's the big brother… (or younger sister…)"
"If you want to get closer to Ren (or Yasaka), maybe you should start by winning over their family first?"
It had to be said—before this, most of the male teachers hadn't liked Ren much, and the female teachers weren't exactly fond of Yasaka either, given how thoroughly she outclassed them in both looks and figure.
But now, thanks to their supposed sibling relationship, everyone's attitude toward the two of them had improved in an instant.
As Ren dragged Yasaka out of the office, clearly intending to lecture her, the teachers inside erupted into lively discussion.
"Who would've thought? Ren-sensei and Yasaka-sensei are actually siblings. No wonder they're both so ridiculously good-looking—they're from the sa family!"
"But don't you think they don't really look alike? And why did they pretend not to know each other before? Even siblings working at the sa school isn't strange."
"Maybe Ren-sensei has been living abroad for a long ti? Hiding their relationship might just be his way of avoiding attention. He is pretty low-key normally."
"It has to be siblings, right? I an, they said they've lived together, bathed together, and even slept together. That must've been when they were kids."
In truth, most of what Yasaka had said was accurate.
She had indeed bathed with Ren, and they had slept in the sa space before.
And it definitely hadn't happened during childhood—it was all fairly recent.
Of course, the "sleeping together" and "bathing together" weren't what everyone imagined.
The sleeping had happened after she redecorated Ren's room and got tired, dozing off right beside him.
As for the bath… that had been entirely her own doing—barging into the bathroom uninvited, insisting on scrubbing his back.
"Why did you suddenly decide to co teach at the academy?" Ren asked once they were outside, his voice dropping into a scolding tone. "And what was all that just now? Are you trying to turn into the school's most notorious playboy?"
"I couldn't help it, dear brother," Yasaka replied with an innocent smile. "Kokonoe has to go to school, and you're always busy with work. I get bored staying ho alone."
She clasped her hands behind her back, leaning forward slightly, her golden hair swaying.
"Besides… I've been curious about Kuoh Academy for a while now. I thought I'd co take a look—and see whether dear brother has taken a liking to any girls here."
