The first formal eting between the Supre Commander of the yokai, the Governor of the Fallen Angels, and the Archangel of Heaven ca to an end just like that.

All things considered, the talks had gone fairly smoothly.

However, what left Ren Kuroda utterly speechless was this—

He had assud that with so many high-ranking figures gathered together, the discussion would revolve around sothing… a bit more substantial.

Instead, those so-called "big shots" had spent hours debating interior decoration, furniture arrangents, and overall architectural layout.

Seriously—were these really the leaders of major supernatural factions?

Anyone who didn't know better would've thought they were a bunch of gossip-loving housewives.

After politely declining Rias and Michael's enthusiastic offers to send over devil maids and angel maids respectively, Ren finally lost patience and kicked the entire group out.

"Brother… I noticed sothing, you know."

Yasaka's voice drifted over, smooth and teasing.

"The scent lingering on that devil girl earlier—it's the sa one you've carried before."

She tilted her head slightly, golden eyes narrowing with playful curiosity.

"And judging by your behavior just now, it seems your relationship with those two girls is… quite close, isn't it?"

Her tone softened, but there was a faint edge beneath it.

"That's rather unfair, don't you think? You've known them for such a short ti."

She crossed her arms, her posture unconsciously emphasizing her already striking figure.

"In terms of looks and… other qualities, I don't believe I lose to them."

Her gaze locked onto Ren.

"So why is it that you're unwilling to deepen the bond between us—your dear adopted sister—yet so intimate with them?"

She paused, then added with a half-serious, half-playful smile:

"Or is it that Brother prefers devils? If that's the case, I could always ask Demon King Beelzebub for a set of Evil Pieces. Becoming a reincarnated devil wouldn't be impossible for ."

Ren sighed internally.

As the leader of the Kyoto yokai, Yasaka would never truly abandon her position to beco a reincarnated devil. He knew that perfectly well.

This was just her way of complaining—indirectly—about how he'd been avoiding staying at ho lately.

"If you're calling 'Brother,' then maintaining a proper distance is only natural, isn't it?" Ren replied calmly.

"I have no interest in being labeled so creep who makes a move on his own little sister."

Yasaka's lips curved upward slightly.

"But those two devil girls are your students, aren't they?"

Her voice carried a hint of amusent.

"A teacher making a move on his students sounds even worse than going after his little sister, wouldn't you say?"

Ren's expression stiffened.

"I already told you—that's not what's happening!"

He ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

"The reason I interact with Rias and Sona differently is because they're not ordinary students at Kuoh Academy. That's all."

Determined to shake off the earlier embarrassnt—and, more importantly, to avoid being seen as so kind of country bumpkin or broke nobody—Ren made a decisive move.

Reaching into his system storage, he began pulling out various items from the Overlord world, placing them around the room as decorative pieces.

From Yasaka and Azazel's earlier conversation, he had picked up on sothing important.

Luxury wasn't just about the size of a residence—it was also about the items displayed within it. Objects that reflected the owner's taste, status, and refinent.

Take the concealnt barrier outside, for example.

To Ren, it had seed like nothing special.

But to Yasaka and the others, its value far exceeded that of the entire renovated villa.

The items Ren brought out weren't particularly high-tier by his standards.

But every ti he casually introduced one—

Yasaka and Kunou reacted like they'd just seen sothing unbelievable.

A wide array of magical tools, artifacts with various effects, crystals capable of temporarily boosting magic power or enabling short-range teleportation…

There were even healing potions with effects comparable to Phoenix Tears.

Ren casually produced more than a dozen bottles.

Then—without the slightest hesitation—he handed one to each of the beast-eared maids.

"Consider it your wages for this period."

The reaction was imdiate.

The maids' eyes lit up with overwhelming excitent, their breathing quickening as they clutched the bottles in their hands.

If not for Yasaka and Kunou standing nearby, they might have thrown themselves at Ren on the spot—ready to "repay" him in ways that would've accelerated population growth on the spot.

Phoenix Tears were famous even beyond the Underworld—precious items typically reserved for internal use within powerful devil factions.

Lesser noble families couldn't even get their hands on them.

And while Ren's healing potions didn't quite reach the level of reviving the dead—

They could regenerate severed limbs with ease, and their recovery speed was astonishing.

To put it bluntly—

Among the beast-eared maids present, aside from Yasaka and Kunou…

The rest of them probably weren't even worth as much as the potion they held.

And because of that—

The way they looked at Ren now had completely changed.

After all, who could possibly refuse a partner who was powerful, handso… and absurdly wealthy?

Yasaka, now wearing a thoroughly serious expression, carefully accepted the remaining items Ren had brought out.

"I'll have display cases prepared imdiately," she said.

"Next ti Michael and the others visit, I'll make sure they're completely stunned."

However, when it ca to certain artifacts and divine items, she hesitated.

"These… are too valuable to be used as re decorations."

"Honestly," Yasaka continued, casting Ren a thoughtful glance,

"I had assud that after being sealed away for so many years, you might be lacking in resources."

She smiled faintly.

"But it seems you were simply… living too modestly as a yokai."

Her eyes glead with curiosity.

"Or perhaps… ordinary things simply no longer catch your interest?"

Ren, for his part, felt their reactions were wildly exaggerated.

The items he had brought out were, at best, mid-tier in the Overlord world—nothing particularly rare.

If he actually needed them, he wouldn't have taken them out as decorations in the first place.

And yet—

Yasaka, the mighty leader of the Kyoto yokai, now looked like soone who had just discovered an entirely new world.

"It seems you still don't fully understand the value of these items, Brother."

Yasaka's tone turned serious as she explained.

"Leaving aside the healing potions comparable to Phoenix Tears—"

"Sacred Gears are not sothing just anyone can use. They choose their hosts."

"But the items you've brought out—while their individual effects may seem simple—can be used by anyone."

Her voice grew more intense.

"And then there are these… resurrection items."

She held one up carefully, as if it were sothing sacred.

"Reviving the dead—do you understand what that ans?"

Her gaze sharpened.

"Even Hades, who governs the Underworld, does not possess such power."

"Yes, the revived individual may suffer so loss in strength…"

"But this is true resurrection. Sothing even divine power cannot achieve."

Hearing Yasaka's earnest explanation, Ren finally paused.

Then, slowly—

It dawned on him.

The overall power level of this world might be high.

But certain items from the Overlord world…

Were, quite simply—

Absurdly overpowered here.
