Su Chen and his two companions chatted as they walked into the Rolls-Royce 4S dealership.

They had just walked in and barely taken two steps when a sowhat jarring voice sounded out.

"Well, well, if it isn’t our resident professional window shopper. What’s this... open for business again? Don’t tell your cousin who drives for a ride-hailing service sent you another one. Careful, or the manager will chew you out again!"

Su Chen imdiately stopped and looked at the woman who had spoken. Her figure was actually quite good—curvy in all the right places—but her face seed a little strange to him. She had probably gone under the knife.

Beside him, Chen Li flushed red with anger and embarrassnt, knowing that she was the reason Su Chen and Jiang Hui were being subjected to this unprovoked hostility...

She looked at Su Chen apologetically and said, "Mr. Su, I’m so sorry for this negative experience."

"It’s fine. I recall a quote from a certain crosstalk master that’s worth learning from."

Su Chen paused, organizing his thoughts before speaking. "When you encounter a dog and it tries to block your path, you should let it pass first. There’s no sha in that! After all, there’s a difference between humans and animals—especially in terms of class!!"

"Hahaha, you’ve got a point, Mr. Su!" Chen Li laughed in agreent, her eyes darting toward the woman who had spoken.

"You... you people..." The woman’s expression darkened upon hearing this. She looked like she was about to start screaming, but rembering there were other custors in the store, she just shot Su Chen and Chen Li a hateful glare.

"Mr. Su, let show you the display cars!"

Chen Li was in a fantastic mood now, no longer caring whether Su Chen and his companion would actually buy a car.

"Hmph! Don’t get so smug, Chen Li. Just you wait, you’ll get what’s coming to you!" The woman stomped her foot in anger as she watched the three of them walk away. After muttering a few more words, she headed for the manager’s office.

The Rolls-Royce showroom was quite large, yet it only had three display cars from the Rolls-Royce series on the floor.

Chen Li led Su Chen and Jiang Hui directly to a Ghost and was just about to start her introduction when Su Chen cut her off.

"Let’s skip the Ghost. Tell about that SUV over there."

Su Chen pointed to an SUV in the distance, his interest instantly piqued. Its wheelbase of over five ters made the entire vehicle look massive.

n just like big things!

"Ah—" Chen Li glanced at Su Chen in surprise, thinking he probably just hadn’t seen this model before and wanted to check it out.

"Mr. Su, this is Rolls-Royce’s newest SUV model—the Cullinan!"

"The Cullinan," Su Chen murmured.

Chen Li quickly recalled the specifications for the Cullinan and began her introduction. "This Cullinan possesses the typical Rolls-Royce family characteristics, with the classic Pantheon-style front grille..."

She went on for a full five minutes, reciting the car’s features to Su Chen as if from a textbook.

Su Chen ran his hand over the car’s body, then turned to Chen Li. "Can I test drive it?"

"Huh? What? A test drive?" Chen Li didn’t register what he said at first.

"Yes, a test drive. I want to see how it feels."

Chen Li was suddenly in a bind. She knew that a test drive required the manager’s approval...

But Su Chen and his friend didn’t look like they could afford to buy a car. If she requested a test drive for them, she was afraid her life at the dealership would beco difficult, and she might not even be able to transition from her internship to a full-ti position.

Then she rembered how Su Chen had stood up for her at the entrance. Gritting her teeth, she said, "I’ll go ask the manager. If he doesn’t agree..."

Before she could finish, a familiar voice rang out from behind them. "Ask for what? Do you think just any Tom, Dick, or Harry can test drive our cars? If sothing happened to the vehicle, could you, Chen Li, afford to take responsibility?"

Su Chen and the others turned around to see the woman from the entrance walking toward them, accompanied by a middle-aged man.

Seeing the middle-aged man, Chen Li called out nervously, "Manager Li!"

Manager Li gave Chen Li a stony look, then turned to Su Chen. "I heard you wanted to test drive the car, sir. That’s not impossible, but you’ll either need to agree to a verification of your assets or be one of our premium Rolls-Royce clients."

Su Chen let out a cold snort. The very ntion of verifying his assets infuriated him.

’Abroad, top-tier luxury car brands like Rolls-Royce are practically begging people to buy their cars. But what happens when they get here...’

’Rolls-Royce is marketed as a standard for the wealthy. They say not everyone who drives a Rolls-Royce is rich, but anyone who’s truly rich will definitely have a Rolls-Royce!’

’It causes the wealthy people in this country to scramble over each other, all wanting to buy a Rolls-Royce to flaunt their status.’

’And in recent years, many other top brands have started riding the sa wave.’

’He was especially reminded of sothing he saw online recently, about a custor who was required to verify his assets just to enter a Porsche 4S dealership.’

’If you don’t have enough money, you can’t even get in the door!’

Tsk, tsk. Su Chen never thought sothing like this would happen to him one day.

"So, sir, will you be verifying your assets or showing us your premium mbership credentials? If you have neither, then I’m afraid I’ll have to apologize." Manager Li even managed to look apologetic as he said this.

’What a waste he’s not an actor.’

Su Chen ignored him, instead pulling his phone out of his pocket, finding a number, and making a call.

Seeing this, Manager Li felt a sudden, inexplicable sense of foreboding.

The phone rang a few tis before it was answered.

"President Li, I was just wondering, since when did Rolls-Royce start requiring asset verification? Should I also show you if I have enough cash in my wallet to cover any potential damages?"

"Where am I? I’m at your 4S dealership on the west side of the Imperial Capital. Alright, I’ll give you ten minutes."

With that, Su Chen hung up.

The call Su Chen had just made was to Li Xiang, the head of Rolls-Royce for the Huaxia region. He was the sa President Li whom Su Chen had t in Shanghai when he spent sixteen million on a Rolls-Royce.

The two had exchanged contact information back then, and he never thought he’d have to use it so soon.

Manager Li was trying to figure out who this "President Li" that Su Chen ntioned was. He racked his brain for a while but couldn’t recall any President Li in the upper managent of Rolls-Royce in the Imperial Capital.

He guessed Su Chen was just trying to bluff him...

"Sir, you’ve made your phone call. If you still can’t prove you have the ability to purchase, I’ll have to ask you to leave."

Su Chen ignored him completely, turning his gaze to Chen Li instead. "Go prepare two contracts. Once this is sorted out, we’ll sign them directly."

"Hahaha! ’Sign contracts’? That’s hilarious! Security! Soone is causing trouble here! Get them out!" The woman standing next to Manager Li sneered at Su Chen.

At the woman’s shout, three n in security uniforms rushed over from who-knows-where. They were all tall, burly n.

If not for their uniforms, Su Chen might have thought he was being robbed.

"Manager Li, what’s the situation?" one of them, who appeared to be the leader, asked.

Manager Li’s head was spinning. He had planned to resolve this with polite words, but who knew the stupid bitch next to him would actually call security.

He had climbed his way up to the dealership manager position step by step on his own abilities; he wasn’t brainless.

’If it weren’t for the fact that she was so skilled with her ’positions’ and could ’adapt’ to any setting, he would have tossed a brain-dead woman like her aside long ago.’

Rembering the ’experience’ in his office just monts ago, Manager Li found himself in a dilemma.

The man opposite him had just made a phone call. What if he really did know soone important? If he threw him out, even if it didn’t completely ruin him, he’d still be in for a world of hurt.

For a mont, the scene was at a standstill.

Su Chen’s eyes glanced between Manager Li and the woman, and he could tell there was sothing going on between them privately. It was quite normal, though; these things were common in the workplace, so it was nothing to be surprised about.

He just hadn’t expected that this Manager Li would let his emotions be swayed by a saleswoman. ’It seems her "skills" are quite impressive.’

SCREEECH— A sudden, sharp braking sound broke the awkward silence.

The next second, several figures ca jogging in from outside.

After looking around, they spotted Su Chen’s group and imdiately rushed over.

When Manager Li saw these n, his face instantly turned pale and his legs began to tremble. Still, he forced a smile and shakily went to greet them.

"Presid—"

Before he could get the word out, the middle-aged man in the lead shoved him aside.

"Mr. Su, my apologies for making you wait! I’m Sun Jie, the person in charge of the Imperial Capital region!" Sun Jie said respectfully.

His words caused an instant uproar among the onlookers. Manager Li and the saleswoman, in particular, trembled and collapsed to the floor.

"That was fast. Not even ten minutes," Su Chen remarked teasingly, glancing at his watch.

Sun Jie replied with a fawning tone, "I happened to be inspecting the nearby dealerships, so I was in the area."

Su Chen just smiled at his words, not bothering to investigate whether it was true.

"So, can I test drive it now...?"

"Yes, of course! Mr. Su, you can drive it however you please!"

Chen Li, ever perceptive, produced a key from sowhere and unlocked the Cullinan in front of them.

Sun Jie nodded in satisfaction. As for the two people still sitting on the floor, he simply waved his hand, signaling his n to drag them away.

Su Chen didn’t even spare them a glance. He was already sitting inside the car, savoring the feeling the Cullinan gave him.

"Hmm... Old Jiang, you get in and try. See how it handles."

Su Chen got out of the driver’s seat and gestured to Jiang Hui before getting into the back.

After getting in, Jiang Hui slowly started the car. He tested it out a little and nodded in satisfaction.

"This car isn’t bad. It’s fine for driving around the city, but it’s a bit lacking for highways or long trips."

Su Chen was also taking in the comfort and visibility of the back seat.

"Hmm... uh, Chen Li, where are those contracts I asked for?"

"Ah! Oh, I’ll go get them right away!" Chen Li had been so scared earlier, worried she was about to lose her job. She never expected such a dramatic reversal.

’My cousin finally did sothing right for once!’

Two contracts. Su Chen bought one Cullinan and one Rolls-Royce Phantom.

As for why he bought two...

The reason was simple: the parking space at his courtyard ho was large enough for several cars. Buying just one would make it look too empty!

The two cars cost Su Chen a total of twelve million. The dealership handled all the paperwork.

Everything was done through their expedited VIP service. In just one hour, even the license plates were mounted.

When they left, Su Chen and Jiang Hui each drove one of the new cars.

Sun Jie had originally offered to act as Su Chen’s chauffeur in an attempt to get closer and curry favor with him.

But Su Chen turned him down, using the excuse: "I want to experience what the Cullinan feels like for myself."

After seeing Su Chen and Jiang Hui off, Sun Jie’s expression instantly darkened.

"Li Qiuwo, you motherfucker! Just you wait and see how I deal with you!" The re thought of the absolute earful he’d gotten from President Li of Rolls-Royce made him furious, and he prepared to give Manager Li a proper "education."

He turned and saw Chen Li, thought for a mont, and said, "You’re Chen Li, right? Your internship is over; you’re a full-ti employee as of today. Keep up the good work. I’ll save the manager’s position for you."

With that, Sun Jie strode back into the dealership. He still had to deal with that bastard Li Qiuwo.

It took a long mont for Chen Li to snap out of her daze. She called out excitedly to Sun Jie’s retreating back, "Thank you, President Sun!"

Without turning around, Sun Jie waved his hand. "Don’t thank . You should thank yourself."
