They say Shichahai is the most beautiful place in the Imperial Capital, brimming with both ancient charm and vibrant life...

Especially on a midsumr evening... tour boats, a gentle breeze, quaint buildings, and neon lights!

Unfortunately, it was already October. The weather had turned cooler, and there were far fewer tourists out on the water.

Su Chen leaned against the railing, watching the tourists boating on the lake. Listening to their cheerful laughter, a faint smile graced his lips.

Jiang Hui, standing beside him, noticed the smile on Su Chen’s face. Thinking he wanted to try it for himself, he promptly asked, "Sir, shall we go for a boat ride on the lake as well?"

Su Chen turned and shot him an exasperated look. "Take a look at those boats. Isn’t every single one of them occupied by a man and a woman? When they do it, it’s called romance. What would you call it if we did it??"

"Uh..." Jiang Hui was rendered speechless.

’A couple boating is romance... so what do you call it when two guys go boating??’

’A bromance??’

......

After all, Shichahai was a tourist destination that had been famous for years, so its comrcial facilities were very comprehensive.

After a stroll down Yandai Xiejie, Su Chen bought a variety of snacks. He would buy a little sothing from every stall he saw, regardless of whether it looked good or not. The main goal was simply to try a bit of everything!

After one loop, Su Chen started to lose interest. It was mainly because of the crowds; he had no ti to stop and appreciate the sights before being swept along by the human tide.

He found a lamb hot pot restaurant by the edge of Shichahai, sizing it up from the entrance before heading inside.

Ever since he had that Wuzhumuqin lamb with Xiao Chen the previous night, Su Chen couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Especially those three plates they brought back last night. He’d claid they were for Jiang Hui, but when Jiang Hui started eating, Su Chen’s craving got the better of him. He grabbed a pair of chopsticks, sat down, and ended up eating half of it himself.

Su Chen didn’t have many hobbies, but he had a particular passion for food.

Perhaps because they had arrived early and missed the dinner rush, the lamb hot pot restaurant wasn’t very crowded.

He chose a table by the window, a perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful scenery while eating hot pot.

When ordering, he made a point to ask the server where the restaurant’s lamb ca from.

The server inford him that while their lamb was from Inner Mongolia, it wasn’t Wuzhumuqin lamb. Although a little disappointed, Su Chen was still curious to see how a different variety would taste.

He ordered four plates, each with a portion of half a jin.

The mont the plates arrived, Su Chen dumped an entire one into the pot.

SLURP. He shoveled a few slices of lamb into his mouth.

"Hm?" Su Chen’s brow furrowed after a few chews.

Jiang Hui noticed the change in Su Chen’s expression and quickly asked, "Sir, is there sothing wrong with the at?"

"It’s nothing. Go ahead and eat." Su Chen shook his head and swallowed the lamb in his mouth.

He’d had high hopes, but the flavor was a far cry from the Wuzhumuqin lamb he’d eaten before.

It left Su Chen feeling like he was chewing on candle wax...

In the end, Su Chen only had a few bites of the four plates of lamb. The vast majority of it ended up in Jiang Hui’s stomach.

"I’ve forgotten the day, can’t recall the year, only rember being with you in a daze..."

Just as he stepped out of the hot pot restaurant, the phone in Su Chen’s pocket started to ring.

Seeing it was a call from the Imperial Capital, he answered.

"Mr. Su, hello. This is Mili, the director for Louis Vuitton in the Imperial Capital. Is now a convenient ti for you?"

Hearing her introduction, Su Chen knew what this was about.

The weather was turning cooler, and realizing he didn’t have many autumn or winter clothes, Su Chen had sent a ssage to Emma, asking her to arrange for soone to co and custom-tailor so for him.

"Yes, it is. Just bring your people over. The location is on the north bank of Shichahai..." Su Chen gave her the address and hung up.

Jiang Hui, who was standing nearby, silently berated himself. ’As a professional butler, I didn’t even think of this. This is a dereliction of my duty!’

"Sir, it is my fault. I failed to notice in ti that you needed a change of seasonal wardrobe. Please punish !"

Su Chen just smiled and waved it off. "What’s there to punish? Just rember for next ti."

He wasn’t the type of person who needed to be dressed and fed, nor could he bring himself to act high and mighty.

-----------------

"Mili, what’s going on today? You even brought out the company’s top private tailor!"

Mili glanced back at the speaker and said coolly, "All you need to know is that this is a VIP. There is no room for error today. If anyone sses up... they don’t need to bother coming to work tomorrow."

Hearing this, everyone’s expression imdiately grew tense.

Three Elfa minivans pulled to a smooth stop in front of a traditional courtyard ho.

A group of ten people alighted from the vehicles. Each sales associate was holding a large stack of clothes, and they also retrieved a folding rack from one of the vans.

Gazing at the courtyard ho before them, a variety of expressions could be seen in their eyes.

Mili walked over to a middle-aged foreign man and said in a low voice, "Ticky, our client today is extrely distinguished. Rember to be polite when you speak."

As a top tailor from Italy, Ticky’s skills were second to none; otherwise, he wouldn’t be the designated tailor for Louis Vuitton in the Greater China region.

It’s just that he had a bit of a short fuse and was known to fly off the handle and curse out his subordinates.

"I know!" Ticky nodded.

’Could soone who makes the regional director go to such lengths be a simple character? He might have a temper, but he wasn’t an idiot.’

’It was like an egg trying to smash a rock.’

Seeing this, Mili breathed an inward sigh of relief. She straightened her clothes and walked towards the main gate of the courtyard ho.

The courtyard ho had a doorbell. If you were to knock... only a ghost would be able to hear you.

CREAK... The main gate opened, revealing Jiang Hui, who had changed back into a dark, tailcoat butler uniform.

He glanced at the group outside and said flatly, "Co in. And rember, no loud noises."

Upon entering the courtyard, the group didn’t dare to breathe too loudly. But as they passed through a beaded doorway into the central courtyard, they all let out an involuntary "Wow!" in unison, stunned by the sight before them.

Jiang Hui, who was leading the way, frowned instantly. He turned and shot the group a furious glare.

Everyone shivered, completely intimidated by his gaze.

Even their leader, Mili, swallowed hard, sighing to herself, ’Even the butler has a stronger presence than I do!’

And this was Mili, a regional director who had the final say over the entire northern market.

Crossing a covered walkway, they saw a young man lounging leisurely on a rattan chair, humming a tune with his eyes closed.

Jiang Hui walked to Su Chen’s side and said in a low voice, "Sir, they’ve arrived."

"Mm," Su Chen nodded slightly.

Jiang Hui then beckoned for Mili and her team to co forward.

Mili and her team quickly unfolded the rack and hung all the clothes on it. Then, two of the sales associates pushed the rack directly in front of Su Chen.

"Mr. Su," Mili began, standing to the side, "these are all of our company’s upcoming fall and winter pieces. Each one is a limited edition—only a single piece exists!"

A knowing smile touched Su Chen’s lips when he heard this. The person explaining things, it seed, was quite clever.

She had just said these were upcoming fall and winter clothes, yet she also said they were limited edition. Wasn’t that a contradiction?

But the truth was just the opposite...

Whichever design Su Chen took a liking to would never be released to the public; it would beco his alone!

After all, it’s not a disaster to wear the sa outfit as soone else—it’s just awkward for whoever looks worse in it.
