Micah stepped through the front door of the Ramsy estate, quietly shutting it behind him. The house greeted him with silence. No one was in sight. It seed everyone had found sowhere else to be. For once, Micah felt he was lucky. His eyes and nose were still a bit red. He wasn’t in the mood to answer their question about why he looked like that.

He headed straight to his room. After freshening up, he sat down at the computer.

The soft glow of the screen illuminated his face as he opened the LOJ ga. After a mont of hesitation, he clicked "Create New Account". His fingers hovered over the keyboard before finally typing. SugerPlumFairy

He stared at it for a beat. Silly. Cringe. Totally girlish.

Selecting a basic Support champion, he dived into training. Every click, every ability cast, was powered by frustration, guilt, and sothing far deeper, fear maybe. A desire to master it quickly after the chaos of the day.

His focus sharpened into a razor edge. He didn’t even hear the buzz of his phone as ssages piled up.

After two hours, Micah finally leaned back, cracking his neck and stretching his wrists. His stomach growled. He rembered he hadn’t eaten dinner. He stood up, lifting his arms above his head with a yawn before wandering downstairs. The house was dark and quiet.

Passing through a corridor, he paused as a low voice reached his ears. Curious, He crept toward the window and peeked outside.

The garden was illuminated with golden light from overhead lanterns. Beneath them, the four mbers of the Ramsy family sat around a table, speaking in hushed but animated tones.

"No way, did he really call Grandpa for him?!"Aria’s voice was full of disbelief.

"Yeah, can you believe it?" Elina nodded.

"Honey, I think this boy is our lucky star! Ever since Micah t him, he has been different. No making trouble, even doing good deeds!" Jacob said emotionally.

"Yeah, we have to keep him close, in any way possible!" Aria’s voice rose with conviction.

"I already arranged a collaboration with him. Even though I think Micah’s attitude toward him is off." Elina said, her brows furrowed.

"Oh, Co on, Mum," Aria rolled her eyes.

"Are you still on about this? I told you Micah is not into boys, maybe he is even a homophobe!"

"Yeah, with the way he behaves like a straight macho boy, how could he be interested in him?" Jacob snorted, waving a hand dismissively.

Only Willow remained quiet, lost in thought. Then she spoke.

"Either way, this is a good thing. Mum let’s invite them to Micah’s birthday."

"Good idea. He will be nineteen next month." Elina agreed.

Micah backed away silently.

After overhearing their conversation, he wasn’t angry or panicked. If he appeared indifferent enough toward Darcy and behaved like he had in the past, reckless and mischievous, they would eventually stop entertaining the idea.

He walked past them and went to the kitchen. Opening the fridge, he found leftover chicken. With a quiet sigh, he picked it up and returned to his ho.

Sitting cross-legged on his chair, he bit into a cold chicken leg, thinking he had not checked that fan group in a long ti.

He picked up his phone and froze. Dozens of unread ssages. Most were from Nora.

He scrolled.

Her ssages were filled with thanks and expressions of how grateful she was to him. There were a few from Darcy, too. Less emotional, more awkward.

Micah paused, staring at the screen, he felt conflicted.

He didn’t want to get involved more with them, but just outright ignoring them felt wrong. He didn’t want to hurt Nora’s feelings.

Darcy was a lost cause. Either way, he would be disappointed in him when the truth ca out.

He typed a brief yet sincere reply to Nora. Sothing kind but distant. Sothing that wouldn’t invite more.

He set the phone down with a sigh.

Silas, that bastard. His involvent with Darcy might seem to be severed. But that old fox was more dangerous in manipulating minds than anything else.

Micah had only cut one of his shortcuts, not all of his routes.

Wasn’t it ntioned in the novel that Darcy found out about the pharmacy’s sche at one point? What was the result?? So halfhearted apology, claiming it was from love, and Darcy had eventually forgiven him.

For the love of god! What kind of brain damage was that plot twist? How was that logic?!

Micah needed more bulletproof evidence to deal with Silas. Especially since his involvent in the dical world was worrying.

With a groan, he shoved Silas’s matter aside.

He switched his WeChat account to SugerPlumFairyIsLeo’sWife.

The Majestic King group chat was red with more than 1000 unread ssages. His eyelids jumped. He really didn’t want to open this damned, cursed group chat. The way their minds worked was really strange like an alien hive. Their obsession with Leo was terrifying.

His eyes suddenly caught a private ssage from LioNessQueen.

LioNessQueen: SugerPlumFairy, are you coming this Friday?

SugerPlumFairyIsLeo’sWife: Yeah, sorry I was busy.

A reply popped up almost instantly.

LioNessQueen: That’s okay. I’ll send you the address and ti. We et there first, then move to Leo’s filming location.

Ps: I’ll let you in on a secret. This is his wrap-up party for the new film. We are going to surprise him.

Micah bolted upright, nearly choking on his chicken bone.

"What?! That’s this Friday?!" he yelled in surprise.

He hadn’t prepared anything! He thought this Friday was just a casual et-up. What the hell? He had to act this quickly?

Naturally, Micah didn’t give a damn about Leo, far from it, he was actively rooting for that actress who wanted to sneak into Leo’s room and snap scandalous photos, maybe even capture video evidence. In the novel, she hadn’t been able to unlock the door, so she resorted to using grainy CCTV stills to spark rumours and give herself hype. It was such a waste, considering she had gone so far as to drug Leo for the setup.

That actress had been ready to finish the job back then, but so unexpected error had ruined it at the last second.

Now, though...

Micah excitedly rubbed his hands together as he grinned devilishly.

Yeah. If everything went right, he could finally wipe one of them off the board for good.
