From Villain to Virtual Sweetheart: The Fake Heir's Grand Scheme(BL) Chapter 205: A Tornado Named Micah (part 2)
Seth jolted, nearly knocking his elbow against the side table as he turned fully toward Leo. His brows furrowed deeply, and his mouth opened slightly in disbelief. "What did you just say?"
Leo didn’t answer right away. He lifted his eyes, eting Seth’s gaze, hollow and dazed. "I said his na is Micah."
Seth blinked hard. "Micah?" he repeated. "Are you sure he was the one who saved you?"
"Yeah. I will never forget his voice." Leo replied. His gaze turned suspicious. "Why? You know him?"
Seth rubbed his jaw. "Oh, man. I found him weeks ago!"
"Huh?" Leo stared at him, eyes narrowing.
"You know I was the instructor in military training for college kids, right?" Seth began. "He was there. Silver hair. Good physique. Fit your description. I had a gut feeling, but I wasn’t sure. I didn’t want you getting your hopes up just to be let down again like before."
Leo’s lips parted, his body leaning slightly forward. "Then... what? Why the hell didn’t you tell ?"
"I needed proof," Seth said, his voice heavier now. "So I asked William to look into him. Didn’t want to say anything until I was sure."
Leo swallowed hard, his throat dry. "And what did you find?"
"Micah Ramsy, eighteen years old. Heir to the Ramsy High Tech empire. Known as a spoiled young master. Loud. Hot-headed. A troublemaker. Arrogant. A waste of potential. He has been all over the news for the wrong reasons, scandals, fighting, you na it. Nothing about his personality and family history fits the image of a secret saviour. I thought if he really was the one, he would have made sure everyone in Isatis city knew what he did. There was no connection to you or that hotel. So, I put him aside."
Leo’s eyes widened. "You an that Ramsy family?"
"Yeah," Seth nodded. "The one with all the money and power. And guess what? His uncle’s a lieutenant general. So what was he even doing in that hotel? Imitating Mutant Ninja Turtles in the middle of the night?"
Leo slumped back, his head knocking lightly against the bed fra. "Yeah, if I hadn’t heard his voice, I wouldn’t believe it either. But I did. It’s him."
Seth glanced at his little brother, he looked so worn down, like he had aged overnight. He reached out and nudged the bottle further from Leo’s hand. "So, what’s the real reason you’re drinking yourself into a ss?" he asked softly.
Leo gripped his knee tightly. "I got jealous," he admitted, voice low. "He was hiding from like I was so kind of creep. But at the sa ti, he let another boy manipulate him. I saw how hurt he was. But then the boy showed up and Micah smiled at him, forgiving him. Why does he not treat the sa way?"
Seth frowned. "You’re jumping to conclusions. You don’t even know what happened between them. What is their relationship? And honestly, I don’t like your attitude toward him. You have beco too obsessed with your saviour. He saved you, yes, but be careful. You’re turning him into so perfect fantasy in your head, and that’s dangerous."
Leo’s eyes burned. "Wouldn’t you? If soone pulled you back from despair like that? If soone lit up the whole world when you thought it was ending?" he shot back, his voice trembling.
Seth let out a slow breath. He didn’t know what exactly had happened to his little brother. He never told them the full story. But from what he observed, it was too traumatising for Leo.
"I get it. I do. All I am saying is you should try to look more clearly at things. You need to be more sound, not this emotional. You know now who he is. An heir to a prominent family. Maybe he could not get associated with you. And honestly, I think he did the right thing. Rember, Twilight Entertainnt is still looking into what happened at the hotel. That manager of yours, Hurt, had told them soone helped you. So if he was seen by you, wouldn’t that put him in danger?" Seth said, trying to sound less aggressive.
Leo sighed and rubbed his eyes. "You are right..."
Seth watched his little brother before speaking again. "There is sothing else. There is a banquet this Friday...it’s Micah’s birthday."
Leo sat up straight. "His birthday?"
"Yeah, but I don’t think you should co. I was saying I can go with William. We don’t have an invitation, but with his uncle’s position, they won’t turn us away."
Leo tensed. "Why not?"
"Because you’re a ss right now," Seth said honestly. "You’re emotional, not thinking straight. Look at yourself. Drinking alone in the dark, locking out your family, tearing yourself apart because he didn’t treat you the way you imagined. Going there, you would just embarrass him and yourself."
Leo clenched his fists. "Alright."
"Let go first. I was his instructor during training. I’ll try to talk to Micah, see what kind of person he really is. If he seems open to it, I’ll thank him for saving you. Maybe I can ask if he would be willing to et with you sowhere private."
Leo was quiet for a long mont. He stared down at the bottle beside him, then shifted his gaze to the ceiling. "Okay," he said finally. "That would be great. Thank you."
Seth patted his shoulder gently. "Now go take a shower. Mum is freaking out."
Leo nodded. He reached over and picked up the bottle, then stopped and set it down again. He wiped his face with both hands and slowly stood up.
As he walked toward the bathroom, his legs wobbling slightly, his mind wandered to Micah. His fondness for him rose, knowing he was one of those rich kids but still had helped him.
Seth watched him go silently. A lot had changed. But one thing was certain. Micah Ramsy, whoever he truly was, had made a deeper mark on Leo than anyone else ever had. Not even that kid from their old neighbourhood. The one Leo followed around because he hadn’t been obsessed with him like others.
No, Micah was like a tornado, tearing through everything good in Leo’s life, yet he’d beco the sun Leo couldn’t stop chasing, even if it burned him.
