From Villain to Virtual Sweetheart: The Fake Heir's Grand Scheme(BL) Chapter 143: Micah Ramsy and the Case of the Hot Imaginary B
Micah hadn’t realised just how much damage that one stupid post would cause until it was too late. At that ti, his only worry was his mother, Elina. Since she was a well-known professor on campus, it didn’t take long for her to hear the rumour. And Micah was sure Elina would chew his ear off. And right on cue, his phone rang.
Micah answered with dread. "Hello?"
"Oh, my! What’s with your depressed voice?" Elina said, "Trouble in paradise? Did you have another fight with your hot boyfriend?!"
"Mum!" Micah said, cringing. "Not you too! It isn’t anything like the post claid! He was just helping !" Micah practically yelled in frustration.
"Well, I was really disappointed thinking my only son had hid sothing this important from . And...Ah.." Elina sighed on the phone. "I had to hear it from my archenemy in the faculty."
Micah bit inside of his cheek. "I’m sorry..."
"Why are you apologising? It’s good news. You can invite him to your birthday..."
"Mum! Please! You know it’s all nonsense!" Micah cut in, mortified.
Elina chuckled. "Ah, it better be. Otherwise..."
Micah gulped. "If I ever have a lover, I make sure you be the first one to know Mum!"
"So, you are now open to both genders?"
Micah rubbed his forehead. "No. I have said it a hundred tis... but no one believes . I’m straight! I’ll never be in a relationship with a man. Okay?"
Elina laughed. "We’ll see. Don’t forget tomorrow’s appointnt."
"Sure, sure Mum. I’ll be on ti for the tuxedo fitting." Micah promised.
"Good. I hope I won’t hear any rumour about you until your birthday party."
"Nope. There won’t be any. Bye, Mum." Micah quickly hung up the call, sighing in relief.
Micah ran a hand through his hair, feeling he had just survived a life-and-death situation. His only worry now was Elina tell every single Ramsy in existence about it. He could already picture Aria laughing herself to tears and teasing him about having a mysterious boyfriend.
But the real chaos didn’t hit until a little later.

Darcy was walking toward the dorm after grabbing so snacks from the corner shop when he noticed soone acting suspiciously near the entrance. They were wearing all black, sticking close to a tree, peeking out every few seconds like so amateur spy. Darcy narrowed his eyes. The figure looked weirdly familiar. He stepped closer.
When he was just a few steps away, his brow twitched.
"Micah, what are you doing?"
Micah jumped so hard that he almost dropped his phone. He spun around, clutching his chest. "Ah! You scared to death." he hissed, heart racing.
Darcy stared at him, his expression blank. "So? What’s up with the get-up?" Darcy asked, voice dry as sand.
Micah looked down at himself, then tugged on his hood. He had shoved it over his head so far it was almost falling into his eyes. A pair of sunglasses sat awkwardly on his nose, and a black face mask covered everything else. It was already evening, the sun almost gone, the sunglasses glared so suspiciously like a red alarm.
"This is all that post’s fault! Do you know how many people have stopped today? Random girls, strangers, asking about my boyfriend? How could they get one like him? And that’s not even the worst part!" He pulled the mask down and groaned. "They kept asking, is he always dominant? With a creepy smile! Like hell, I didn’t get their dirty aning!" Micah exploded.
Darcy blinked, caught off guard.
Micah wasn’t done. "That’s not all! Even boys had co up asking if I was still with that hot daddy! What the hell even that an?! I was so close to choking him with my own hands!"
Micah groaned louder this ti, in despair. "The post got deleted right away! So where did so many people see it?"
Darcy’s brows tightened. He didn’t expect the situation would escalate like this. He scratched his cheek. "Just ignore them. Surely it will die down after a few days."
Micah gave him a flat look. "How can I ignore them when they are sitting next to in class? They even threw notes at ! Don’t they fear the lecturer will see it? Today, one girl passed a note! And guess what it said?" He reached into the pocket of his black hoodie and pulled out several crumbled pieces of paper, shoving them at Darcy.
Darcy hesitated before unfolding one. His frown deepened. Their questions were all weird. So even asked if Micah was top or bottom. Or both!
Darcy ripped the papers in half, then again and again. "Who were they? Just report them next ti."
"Are you kidding ? What about my image? How can I go to HR and complain about people speculating about my sexuality or boyfriend? No thanks. That would be a social death sentence!" Micah refused.
"But this get-up lands you in more trouble. What if they report you as a suspicious person lurking around?" Darcy said.
Micah slumped against the tree dramatically. "Then I’ll just die and be done it with. At least I won’t have to deal with Nick and Eddie teasing at the dorm and the perverts outside!"
"Why don’t you change your hairstyle? Or dye your hair again, go with sothing completely different. You know this colour is really too noticeable." Darcy suggested.
"No... " Micah’s lips pressed together.
He looked away, jaw clenched. His silver hair had beco part of who he was. It wasn’t just a colour, it was a shield. People always looked at him weirdly because his light brown hair and hazel eyes didn’t match the rest of the Ramsy Family. So kids joked he was adopted. Adults whispered worse. By the middle school, he couldn’t take it. He dyed his hair, changed his look, and pretended not to care. The new Micah was louder, tougher, soone who could beat up anyone.
He couldn’t forget how furious and disappointed his family looked when they saw him. But he preferred to show them his tough headbutt personality rather than his fear and insecurities.
"No," he said again, quieter this ti.
Darcy didn’t push. He kind of liked the silver colour. "Then stay low for a while. If you like I can walk with you, or others too. Let them handle it for you."
Micah stared at Darcy, suddenly rembering it. It was just like in the novel. When the protagonist was being bullied, Archie stayed close to him, drove people away, and won his trust. Darcy was saying the sa thing now, but Micah’s situation wasn’t really that serious. It was just teasing not actually bullying.
Micah felt embarrassed a bit. He made such a fuss in front of Darcy. But he really couldn’t tolerate it.
"Co on. Let’s go inside," Darcy said. And walked toward the dormitory.
Micah followed him. Standing beside Darcy, most people didn’t throw teasing words toward him. Micah sighed in relief.
Arriving at his room, Micah said goodbye and went inside.
"Hey! Look who is back! Our campus heartthrob! Did your hot boyfriend walk you ho..." Nick’s voice was cut by the pillow Micah had tossed into his face.
"Zip it. I am not in the mood." Micah glared at him.
Nick coughed and laughed behind the pillow. Eddie was snickering from his bed.
Micah ignored them. He took off his hoodie, kicked off his shoes, and plopped into his bed. With a scowl, he grabbed his phone and started typing furiously.
RogueOverlord: If you set foot near the university these days, I swear I’ll break your legs even if it ans I end up in jail!
He hit send.
After dumping his anger on Clyde, Micah felt better.
It was all his fault. Stupid, hot, reputation-ruining Clyde.
