The vast night sky, once scattered with countless stars, slowly began to dim, as if being swallowed by darkness itself. Then, in the blink of an eye, a dinsional gate that pierced through space and ti suddenly tore open right behind Thanos.

A mont later, a small blonde girl stepped out from beyond the gate.

She wore a red, princess-style dress with delicate Lolita accents, her appearance almost too cute and innocent for the presence she represented.

Without sparing even a glance at Thanos, who stood beside her with a stunned, almost foolish expression on his face, the little girl lifted her foot and took a step forward.

In the next instant, she had already appeared right in front of Blake.

"Hello, Blake!" she greeted cheerfully, her voice bright and full of energy.

Faced with her sudden appearance, Blake simply smiled in amusent.

He knew very well that this "girl" was nothing more than a manifestation ford from the fusion of Dinsional Energy and Cosmic Law. And yet, she stubbornly insisted on presenting herself in the form of a small child.

Technically speaking, "Death" had no gender. She was a unique existence in this universe, a singular being with her own form and presence.

Blake honestly couldn't understand how Thanos could fall in love with sothing like "Death."

Was Thanos… into little girls?

Or had he simply lost his mind, bewitched by the overwhelming pull of the cosmic laws that ford the very core of "Death's" existence?

Blake shook his head, unwilling to dwell on it any further. He could feel it clearly—"Death" harbored no malicious intent toward him.

"Hello, Death," Blake replied with a smile, eting her gaze without looking away.

The two of them stared at each other in silence for a while, until "Death" was the first to break it.

"Blake, your soul is truly beautiful," Death said, her tone filled with admiration.

"There are so many mysterious elents within you that even I can't understand. The more I look, the more fascinated I beco."

"If I didn't know that your power stands on the sa level as mine, I might have already tried to bring you into the realm of death to keep company… Ah! Damn you, Ancient One. If it weren't for that seal on Earth, I would have noticed your unique existence much earlier."

Blake just smiled faintly and shrugged. "I'll take that as a complint."

— — —

While Blake and "Death" were talking, Thanos—who had just been brought back to life—had already returned to Titan. Now, he stood beside "Death," his eyes locked onto Blake with sharp, vigilant intensity.

Blake's brows furrowed. He had been just about to step forward, ready to punch and kill that stubborn stalker once and for all.

But before he could move, "Death" let out a soft snort, waved her hand casually, and a spatial gate opened directly beneath Thanos's feet.

In the blink of an eye, the newly revived Thanos vanished from sight.

No one knew where "Death" had sent him.

"Why are you protecting Thanos?" Blake asked, his eyes filled with curiosity. "Do you really have so kind of special relationship?"

From Blake's understanding, "Death" was rely a manifestation of laws and dinsional energy. Even if she possessed awareness, an existence like that shouldn't be interested in forming sothing as emotional as a romantic relationship.

And even if she did have emotional needs… why Thanos?

As the personification of a cosmic law, "Death" possessed insight and understanding of the universe that Thanos could never hope to reach.

The difference between them was like that of a human and a protozoa—two beings from entirely different realms of existence.

Would a human fall in love with a protozoa?

Seeing the look on Blake's face, "Death" rolled her eyes and let out a tired sigh.

"There is no special relationship between and Thanos," Death replied flatly. "If anything exists, it's nothing more than his own obsession. As for why I don't let him die… well, that's a long story."

And so, she began to explain in detail.

The main reason Thanos could be revived by "Death" lay in his identity as a descendant of the Eternal race.

At the very beginning of the Marvel universe, entities such as Death, Eternity, Infinity, Oblivion, and Galactus were born as representations of cosmic laws. They fused with the will of the world itself, giving rise to their individual consciousnesses.

The six Infinity Stones were also part of these laws. However, for reasons unknown, the six principles behind each stone never developed awareness like the five primary entities did.

The Eternal race was likewise born from the will of the world. Because of that, their deaths were never truly an end. They simply returned to rge back into the fundantal laws of the universe.

In other words, if Blake truly killed Thanos, then Thanos would remain by "Death's" side in the form of a law itself.

And that was precisely what "Death" wanted to avoid.

After hearing the explanation, Blake nodded slowly.

"So next ti you run into Thanos, don't kill him again," Death said. "Just chase him as far away as possible. As long as he's out of sight, that's enough."

Blake agreed with a nod, then asked, "So… Thanos's plan to wipe out half of the universe's population was really ant to please you?"

Hearing that, "Death" rolled her eyes again before answering, "That has nothing to do with . Thanos only ca up with that idea because he was influenced by the will of the world."

"Why would the will of the world push for sothing like that?" Blake asked, frowning.

"You co from another world," Death said, eting his gaze. "In your world, is a world's lifespan unlimited? This world also has a limit. When its ti cos, this world—and everything within it—will vanish."

"Even we, the representations of cosmic law born from this world, cannot escape that destruction. Even if we can move to other worlds, our fate is still tied to our world of origin."

"Thanos's plan may look cruel to the living beings of this world, but to the world itself, it is a blessing. To be honest…"

"If we compare it to human developnt, our world has already entered its twilight years. Of course, a world's lifespan still far exceeds anything humans can imagine."

"But that doesn't an we should let it continue to decay. Even the will of the world itself has an instinct to survive. By erasing half of all living beings, the burden on the world can be significantly reduced."

"That's why the five of us didn't stop Thanos's plan. But of course, if Thanos fails, we won't interfere either. Death is not sothing I fear. Eternity likely doesn't care."

"Eternity is special. Even if this world is destroyed, it might still survive. As for how Infinity, Galactus, and the others view Thanos's plan, I don't know."

"Oh, right… in your original world, how do you deal with situations like this?"

Blake nodded, understanding her words.

Then, he began to explain the God of Destruction system from the world of Dragon Ball.
