1432 Apologizing to the Descendant of the Xie Family

Upon hearing this, Situ Zhong and Zhang Xin’s faces imdiately beca pale.

How could they possibly be expected to know that Jian Yiling was related to the Xie family?

In fact, they didn’t even know that the Xie family still had descendants in this world.

And if Jian Yiling was the legal owner of this manor, they had to leave imdiately. If not, Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng had every right to contact the police.

On top of this, with these big shots from all walks of life in front of them, there was no other choice left for Situ Zhong and Zhang Xin.

“We... Really did not know the Xie family still had descendants in this world... If we knew this, we definitely would not be here...” Situ Zhong hurriedly explained. Then, he tried to get friendly with Jian Yiling by saying: “Doctor Jian, I know we don’t know each other well. However, since your grandma is a mber of the Xie family and the Xie family is friends with everyone from the Nine Dragons Association, we’re technically close like family.”

Zhai Yunsheng interrupted: “Don’t say that. I’ve never seen family mbers and relatives moving things in the owner’s property without their permission. And if there were such family mbers and relatives, they wouldn’t be family mbers and relatives for long in the first place.”

The expressions on Situ Zhong and Zhang Xin’s faces beca ugly again.

And when they looked toward the big shots of Country M, Situ Zhong and Zhang Xin beca inexplicably nervous.

In the end, Situ Zhong could only reluctantly apologize to Jian Yiling.

“Doctor Jian. I’m sorry we trespassed on your property without your permission. But we just wanted to help clean up the Xie family manor. Please forgive us.”

Naturally, Situ Zhong refused to admit that he had co to look for sothing.

He refused to let Jian Yiling and the others learn about the piece of vellum.

The expression on Jian Yiling’s face was as calm as always.

Despite being a mother already, her face still looked soft and squishy like a marshmallow.

However, unlike Jian Yiling, Zhai Yunsheng did not look gullible and refused to let things go easily.

“Clean up the Xie family manor? You call this behavior of yours cleaning the manor? Do you think I’m blind or sothing?”

If Jian Yiling did not know how to express herself in certain situations, Zhai Yunsheng would happily help her.

No one was allowed to bully his rabbit with such fake lies.

Situ Zhong gritted his teeth and reluctantly apologized again. This ti, his attitude was obviously much more sincere: “I apologize for our actions. Everyone else in the Nine Dragons Association made the incorrect assumption that the Xie family had no descendants and that’s why we took this manor as our ho. We were in the wrong. I hope Miss Jian will be kind enough to forgive us given our ancestors were close friends.”

Zhai Yunsheng did not reply to this apology. Instead, his gaze fell on Zhang Xin.

As Zhang Xin was a very prideful man, asking him to apologize was no different from breaking his arm and leg.

When Situ Zhong sensed this, he elbowed Zhang Xin to signal him to hurry up and do as he was told.

Beggars couldn’t be choosers.

It was not worth putting themselves in a dangerous situation for the sake of their pride.

Zhang Xin clenched his fists and struggled inwardly for a long ti. Finally, he compromised and said: “Sorry, we were wrong.”

After apologizing, Situ Zhong smiled and said: “We’re relieved that the ownership of this manor is returning to its rightful owner. We will take our leave and no longer be the way.”

As Situ Zhong attempted to leave, he was stopped in his tracks by several Western bodyguards.

“Are you planning to leave scot-free after you loot soone’s house?” the old man asked.

No one knew what things Situ Zhong and Zhang Xin had taken over the past few days or weeks.
