“Nothing,” Jian Yiling replied.
“Really?” Zhai Yunsheng asked with a frown.
“Well… Perhaps sothing happened?”
“So is sothing happening or not?” Zhai Yunsheng said in confusion. He was a bit lost after hearing Jian Yiling’s response.
“I achieved my goal.”
“What goal?”
Jian Yiling reached out for Zhai Yunsheng’s hand and placed it on her stomach.
Zhai Yunsheng froze for a full minute.
“You… You’re pregnant?”
“Mhmm!” Jian Yiling nodded.
Upon hearing this, Zhai Yunsheng let out a sigh of relief: “Fortunately, nothing else happened.”
“Are you not happy?” Jian Yiling asked as she gazed into Zhai Yunsheng’s eyes. She did not see excitent or happiness on his face.
“I’m happy,” Zhai Yunsheng replied. Despite stating this, there was no obvious joy showing.

“Really?”
“Yep.”
“But you don’t seem very excited.”
“Well, my grandpa really wants a great-grandchild. What I care about is you,” Zhai Yunsheng said to Jian Yiling.
When Jian Yiling heard this sudden confession, she began to blush.
Zhai Yunsheng laughed when he saw this. “You’re going to give birth to a baby and you’re still shy?”
“I… I’m not shy…” Jian Yiling protested quietly.
However, her cheeks were not listening. They were flushed red.
“But this might be hard on you,” Zhai Yunsheng said as he looked at Jian Yiling’s petite body. He couldn’t help but frown.
“Well, Brother Yunmo told to take a break from work,” Jian Yiling said.
“You told him about your pregnancy before ?” Zhai Yunsheng asked. He caught onto Jian Yiling’s words.
“Mhmm.”
Zhai Yunsheng’s face sank a little as he beca a bit jealous: “Next ti, tell the baby’s father first okay?”
“But Brother Yunmo was inside the hospital.”
“Even if that’s the case, I’m still the baby’s father. I should hear of this news before the baby’s uncle.”
“Oh. Next ti, I will make sure you’re the first person to hear of this news.”
“Or maybe there won’t be a next ti,” Zhai Yunsheng quietly said. After all, Jian Yiling had just beco pregnant with her first baby.
“Hmm?”
“Nothing, I’ll call grandpa and tell him the news,” Zhai Yunsheng said.
“Or we could head over to grandpa’s house together and tell him.”
“No need. I just need to call him. It will take him less than half an hour to get here.”
Then, Zhai Yunsheng called Master Zhai.
After exactly twenty-five minutes, Master Zhai showed up in front of Zhai Yunsheng and Jian Yiling’s apartnt.
When the door was opened by Zhai Yunsheng, Master Zhai completely ignored his grandson. Instead, he quickly entered the apartnt.
“Yiling! My darling!” Master Zhai called out to Jian Yiling. Tears were about to fall out of his eyes.
The Zhai family’s lineage would be passed on!
“Grandpa, please take a seat. I will get you a cup of tea,” Jian Yiling said.
Just as she was about to move, she was quickly stopped by Master Zhai. “No need no need! I don’t need to drink tea! I don’t feel hungry or thirsty when I’m looking at you!”
Zhai Yunsheng ca over and helplessly separated Master Zhai and Jian Yiling.
“Well, now you’ve heard of the news and you’ve seen Yiling, you can return ho again,” Zhai Yunsheng said to Master Zhai.
“What? From today onwards, Yiling will be living in the Zhai Residence!”
“What for?”
“Well, when the two of you first got married, I let you two live here because I didn’t want to disturb your alone ti. Now that Yiling’s pregnant, of course she has to move back to the Zhai Residence. I will make sure to keep an eye on you and make sure you don’t feel around.”
