Chapter 1281: Auction (3)

“25 billion,” Qin Chuan’s assistant called out.

Upon hearing this bid, the others shook their heads repeatedly. Even if they were not willing to give up on this piece of land, they had to. They did not have the money to follow up on such a bid.

“26 billion,” Zhai Yunsheng followed. He continued to raise the price without the slightest hesitation.

At this point, the representatives from other companies had already fully given up.

This price point was already far beyond their budget.

They decided to watch Qin Chuan and Zhai Yunsheng compete for the piece of land.

Qin Chuan and Zhai Yunsheng who were once rated as the two top noblen of Beijing were fiercely competing against one another.

The calls from Zhai Yunsheng and Qin Chuan’s assistant failed to wake up Jian Yiling. She continued to sleep on Zhai Yunsheng’s shoulder.

It appeared to have the sa effect as listening to a university tutor’s lecture.

As long as her na wasn’t ntioned, she would continue to doze off.

Finally, Zhai Yunsheng raised the price to 30.8 billion.

Upon hearing this price being called, Qin Chuan’s assistant told Qin Chuan that the Qin Group did not hold any more liquid assets. If they continued to bid, the Qin Group would encounter problems with their existing projects and operations.

After a mont of contemplation, Qin Chuan continued to raise the price.

“31 billion.”

This ti, Qin Chuan personally called out the price.

“31.6 billion,” Zhai Yunsheng followed without any hesitation.

This man was crazy!

Did he not know how much money that was?!

To make matters worse, this wasn’t his money!

How could he spend his wife’s money so recklessly!

Everyone’s eyes fell on Jian Yiling. They were shocked to see her napping on Zhai Yunsheng’s shoulder.

How could she fall asleep in such a situation? Was her heart made out of stone or sothing?

Was her ntality that strong?!

Qin Chuan’s assistant and financial team redid their calculations. After performing their calculations, they felt that it was pointless for the Qin Group to continue competing and they asked Qin Chuan to give up.

After pondering, Qin Chuan stopped the bidding.

The hamr finally fell and the plot of land was sold to Zhai Yunsheng for 31.6 billion dollars.

The crowd went to Zhai Yunsheng and Jian Yiling’s seats to smilingly “congratulate” the two of them.

“Young Master Zhai is indeed very capable.”

“I no longer believe the words that a woman should marry into a rich family to live a good life. Instead, the statent should be applied in reverse. We’re truly envious that you managed to find such a capable and virtuous wife.”

The sound of their voices woke up Jian Yiling. Her eyes felt hazy and she instinctively rubbed them.

Zhai Yunsheng softly said to Jian Yiling: “If you’re tired, you should nap for a bit more.”

“Is it over?” Jian Yiling asked.

She wasn’t sure how she managed to fall asleep just now.

“Mhmm,” Zhai Yunsheng replied as he handed Jian Yiling a glass of water. He gestured for her to take a sip of water after waking up.

“Dean Jian, your husband just spent 31.6 billion to buy this piece of land.”

Soone was afraid that Jian Yiling didn’t know how much Zhai Yunsheng had just spent. And thus, he couldn’t wait to tell Jian Yiling about this.

“It’s not my money,” Jian Yiling replied. “He earned the money himself. It’s considered premarital property.”

Jian Yiling made this clear even though she was aware that Zhai Yunsheng would willingly hand over all his money to her.

But legally speaking, this money is still Zhai Yunsheng’s premarital property.

This wasn’t Jian Yiling’s money?

This was pre-marital property?

Everyone felt that Jian Yiling was talking nonsense.

After all, the Zhai family had gone bankrupt. Even their family mansion had been sold. How could Zhai Yunsheng possibly have premarital property?
