Chapter 1214: Blind Date (1)
“Quickly bring her in,” the Second Master of the Zhai family hurriedly said.
After a few monts, Jian Yiling was led into the room by his assistant.
“Yiling, why did you co over today? If there’s sothing you need help with, you can just call . You didn’t need to make a trip all the way over here,” the Second Master of the Zhai family said.
When the Second Master of the Zhai family spoke to Jian Yiling, his voice was softer than usual.
This was because his niece-in-law appeared super soft and delicate. He didn’t want his tone to be too cold or hard.
“I’m here to convince you to find an aunt-in-law,” Jian Yiling replied.
It appeared as though the two of them had discussed this before leaving the house this morning. They wanted to ensure that their uncle would listen to their words.
When it ca to Zhai Yunsheng, the Second Master of the Zhai family sowhat knew how to deal with him. However, when it ca to his niece-in-law, he had no idea how to say no.
“Okay okay, I promise. I will go on a blind date after work today,” the Second Master of the Zhai family compromised.
Even though he had no interest in getting married, he decided to listen to his nephew and niece-in-law’s words. After all, the two of them were very important people to him.
If they wanted him to go on a blind date, he would just go on a blind date.
It wasn’t a particularly laborious matter anyways.
“Okay, I will try to have a baby with A Sheng as soon as possible,” Jian Yiling replied.
As these words were coming from Jian Yiling’s mouth, they were as serious and earnest as always.
“Okay. I will see soone tomorrow to figure out an auspicious date and ti for the two of you to get married,” the Second Master of the Zhai family replied.
Even though he was going on a blind date, he had to make sure that the wedding of these two youngsters would not be delayed.
As expected, it was difficult to bargain with the Second Master of the Zhai family.
Eventually, Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng decided to leave. On the way ho, as Jian Yiling was seated in the passenger seat, she kept looking down at her stomach. Every so often, she would pat it.
“What are you thinking about?” Zhai Yunsheng asked. What was going on in his little rabbit’s brain?
“I’m thinking about when we can have baby,” Jian Yiling said in a soft voice.
Upon hearing this reply, Zhai Yunsheng laughed lowly and said: “Well, I haven’t even sowed seeds yet. How can you have a baby?”
“Then when are you going to sow seeds?” Jian Yiling asked as she looked at Zhai Yunsheng expectantly.
Zhai Yunsheng did not know how to feel when he heard these words.
It was so hard to hold himself back and yet, she didn’t appreciate his efforts.
Zhai Yunsheng put his hand on Jian Yiling’s stomach and stroked it gently: “Giving birth to a baby will hurt a lot. I don’t want you to bear pain so soon.”
“Well, it’s going to happen sooner or later.”
“You’re only saying that right now. Suffering isn’t great,” Zhai Yunsheng laughed.
After Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng left, the Second Master of the Zhai family had no choice but to fulfill his side of the bargain. He called his father and told him that he was willing to go on a blind date.
Upon hearing this, Master Zhai was delighted.
A lot of good things had been happening recently.
Yiling was indeed their lucky star. As long as she was here, good things would happen to the Zhai family one after another.
Master Zhai quickly brought up a list of people his son could have a blind date with. He had prepared this list ages ago. Master Zhai requested his son to have dinner with them one by one.
He also reminded his son to treat them nicely.
The next day, the Second Master of the Zhai family arrived at the designated restaurant.
After he arrived, the Second Master of the Zhai family realized that he sowhat knew his blind date.
Even though they had never t before, he had read the profile of this person. He knew that this person was friends with his niece-in-law.
