Not long after, the old man used his broom to smack down Zhai Yunsheng’s tall and fierce-looking bodyguards.
The old man once again held up his broom and yelled: “Why don’t you leave now?!”
Zhai Yunsheng turned around and said to Jian Yiling: “Let’s go.”

Then, Jian Yiling pushed Zhai Yunsheng’s wheelchair in the direction to leave. When she passed by the front of the strange old man’s house, she said to him: “Atractylodes should grow in saline soils. You’re growing them in the wrong soil.”
After saying that, Jian Yiling continued to walk away.
“Wait a mont,” the old man called out to Jian Yiling. “You just said that Atractylodes should be planted in saline soils? Do you know how to grow dicinal herbs?”
“Iknow a bit,” Jian Yiling answered.
Yu Xi grabbed Jian Yiling’s arm and said: “God Ling, ignore this old man. He’s very bad-tempered.”
However, the old man continued to question Jian Yiling: “Then where should I grow Paris Polyphylla?”
Jian Yiling glanced at the plant that was dying before she replied: “It likes warm and humid areas. It’s cold and drought resistant. However, it hates frost and sunlight. It’s suited for areas with sandy soil. Planting it next to the river or in the shade of the mountain would be optimal.”
The old man planted Paris Polyphylla right under the sun. Naturally, it would not grow well.
The old man narrowed his eyes and changed his grumpy attitude: “Little girl, you actually know how to plant dicinal herbs.”
Upon hearing this, Yu Xi hurriedly said: “Of course! God Ling knows a lot!”
The old man sneered before he replied: “Well, I’ll advise you to not co to this place. It’s not good for you.”
He was shooing them away for their sake.
If sothing happened to them, they wouldn’t even have a place to cry.
“What do you an by that? Are there snakes or tigers here?” Yu Xi asked. He didn’t understand the old man.
If they couldn’t be here, why could the old man be there? Wasn’t this a joke?
“Okay,” Jian Yiling replied. She didn’t ask further.
‘When Jian Yiling turned around to leave, the old man sowhat reluctantly asked: “Little girl, do you know anything else about dicinal herbs? If so, could you write it down on a piece of paper?”
Yu Xi: “Old man, you were shooing us away. Why are you asking God Ling to help you now?”
“So what? I do what I want!” the old man said shalessly. “Also, I won’t take your information for free! The one in the wheelchair. I can make him better.”
Naturally, Yu Xi did not believe in the old man’s words. The old man didn’t even know what condition Master Sheng had. He was simply speaking nonsense.
Before getting a response from Jian Yiling, the old man headed straight towards Zhai Yunsheng.
Zhai Yunsheng’s bodyguards walked up to stop him however the old man knocked them down in three blows.
It was even quicker than before!
It appeared as though the old man was holding himself back earlier!
