Soone approached Lu Yanchuan and whispered to him, prompting a smile and a nod from Lu Yanchuan’s face.
The person then quickly walked to the circular stage in the center and announced loudly.
“Thank you all for gracing us with your presence at Old Mr. Lu Hongyun’s grand 60th birthday celebration. Let’s welco Old Mr. Lu with the warst round of applause!”

The one in the center, dressed in a black and red birthday suit, was none other than Lu Hongyun, flanked by two won in light pink gowns.

Qiao Xin’s voice stood out in the crowd, and many people who heard it turned to look her way, while Lu Ming frowned disapprovingly at her side.

Qiao Yi and Lu Xiaohua, on either side of Old Mr. Lu, gently supported him as he descended the stairs. Once Old Mr. Lu was on stage, they discreetly stepped aside.
Qiao Xin couldn’t hear what Lu Hongyun was saying on stage; she was fixated on Qiao Yi’s unscathed face.
Lu Ming was listening intently to Old Mr. Lu’s speech and turned his head, only to find Qiao Xin missing from his side. After scanning the room, he saw her furiously heading towards Qiao Yi.
That brainless woman! She’s going to ruin everything!
Without ti to think, Lu Ming hurriedly followed her.
Today was a significant day for the Lu Family. If Qiao Xin caused a scene now, it would not just be a matter of losing face!
If Old Mr. Lu beca unhappy with Qiao Xin over this and Lu Ming ended up being disliked by Old Mr. Lu as a consequence, that would be terrible!

Qiao Xin glared at Qiao Yi’s flawless face in a fit of rage, wishing she could rip off her skin and put it on her own face right there and then!
A mocking smile played on Qiao Yi’s face, coupled with an indescribably cold indifference.
“Qiao Xin, I used to think you were just a fool blinded by love, but now I see clearly, you’re not just a fool, you’re a ruthless one at that!”
“You! Qiao Yi! You deceived !”
Qiao Xin, seeing the recording pen in Qiao Yi’s hand, imdiately scread and lunged to snatch it back.
But how could she outmatch Qiao Yi? Even with one hand, Qiao Yi wouldn’t let her take anything she held.
Qiao Xin was forcefully pushed aside by Qiao Yi, who flaunted the recording pen in front of her and then snatched it away right before Qiao Xin could grab it.
“Qiao Xin, I warn you to stop these petty tricks. I rember every little thing you’ve done to , and if you keep being dishonest, don’t bla for not showing any rcy!”
Qiao Xin trembled all over; she could hardly imagine the consequences if everything she had done was revealed by Qiao Yi.
No! She couldn’t be threatened by Qiao Yi!
Qiao Yi hated her so much, sooner or later she would release everything, and then not only Lu Yanchuan would despise her, but she would also have no place in the Qiao Family!

“Let’s go back quickly, if people notice I’m not inside, who knows what rumors they will spread!”
Qiao Xin stumbled as she was pulled by Lu Ming, but instead of shaking off his hand, she let Lu Ming lead her back into the hall.
When Qiao Yi returned, Old Mr. Lu had already finished speaking and was coming down the stage looking for her. Qiao Yi hurried to et him.
