Chapter 105: Chapter 105: To Annoy Qiao Yi
Back at Emperor Garden, Qiao Yi called Lu Yanchuan to relay what had happened.
“I don’t think Sun Keke had any reason to lie to , and she certainly wouldn’t get herself into her current state just to deceive .”
Qiao Yi sent Lu Yanchuan the docunts Sun Keke had shown her. With both Lu Yanchuan and Qiao Benqing worrying about the Sun Family’s affairs, she was rely passing on a ssage.
“I got it, I’ll return in a couple of days.”
Lu Yanchuan on the other end of the line didn’t seem to be doing anything; his breathing was slightly unstable, as if he had just finished so intense exercise.
The phone Qiao Yi had clamped to her ear suddenly fell. Lu Yanchuan’s voice on the phone was practically lethal, causing Qiao Yi’s ears to turn red.
“You—you co back whenever you want, nobody is controlling you!”
Qiao Yi hung up with a snap, her face uncontrollably flushed.
Having been hung up on, Lu Yanchuan thought about the annoyed tone of the person on the other end and felt his previously suppressed mood lighten sowhat.
In an abandoned factory near the border between China and the Southern Country, Lu Yanchuan held his phone with a thoughtful expression while the dozens of people standing and kneeling below him dared not utter a sound.
After a long ti, Lu Yanchuan tossed aside the blood-stained baseball bat. At his feet lay two people whose conditions were uncertain; both were covered in blood, their limbs twisted unnaturally.

Lu Yanchuan lightly kicked one of the n with the tip of his shoe, causing a gush of blood to spill out of the man’s mouth.
A droplet of blood fell onto Lu Yanchuan’s shoe, but before he could even frown, soone had already rushed over to wipe it clean.
Everyone lying or kneeling on the ground were taken away, and not long after, there were a few faint screams from outside.
“Xiyu, go check if Lu Ming has been up to anything lately.”

A voice next to Lu Yanchuan erged from the darkness, as a man shrouded in black silently sat there, playing with the cell phone Lu Yanchuan had just slipped into his pocket.
“Indeed, a married man really is different. You never used to talk so tenderly to anyone, and I am quite curious to know who has the power to subdue you?”
Yan Xiyu asked intentionally, although he already knew the answer. His slender fingers tapped the phone screen a couple of tis, and when the screen lit up, it displayed a joyful photo of Qiao Yi.
If one did not know Yan Xiyu, they would be deceived by his aura of sophistication and elegance, but those familiar with him knew that this man had the face of an angel but the mind of a devil.
Already accustod to Yan Xiyu’s eccentric behavior, Lu Yanchuan unceremoniously snatched his phone back.
Noticing that Lu Yanchuan only briefly paused when he saw the changed screensaver and didn’t bother to change it back, Yan Xiyu’s smile grew slightly wider and even had a hint of malice.

“Stop being hysterical and hurry up with the investigation I asked for. Especially look into Lu Ming’s financial transactions to see if there is any connection with Hendry Corp.”
“Isn’t Hendry Corp the one that specializes in electronic products? I heard they recently developed a new tracking system, and it even cos with a matching locator…”
Lu Yanchuan pulled out two broken pieces of a tracking device from his pocket and tossed them to Yan Xiyu.
“Soone hid these on ; I suspect it was Lu Ming’s doing.”
The two damaged components in Yan Xiyu’s hands were treated like rare treasures, examined closely in his hands while ignoring what Lu Yanchuan was saying afterward.
Knowing Yan Xiyu’s obsession, Lu Yanchuan was not surprised and, after instructing his subordinates to pass on his words, left the warehouse.
anwhile, in Jiang City, Lu Ming was still unaware that he was being investigated; he was busy accompanying Qiao Xin as they followed the tracker around the city in a frenzy.
After the exhibition ended, the group that was supposed to leave ended up staying, playing around Jiang City and its surroundings instead.
The most infuriating part was, this group split up, which ant Qiao Xin kept missing them every ti she went out. She could only chase after the locator that had been hidden on Qiao Yi, running everywhere.
Lu Ming had assured her when he gave her the device that if it was hidden on Qiao Yi, even a detector wouldn’t be able to find it.
Qiao Xin believed Lu Ming’s words, hiding one each on Qiao Yi and Lu Yanchuan, which allowed her to always find them.
It wasn’t to encounter Lu Yanchuan by chance; it was solely to annoy Qiao Yi.

Lu Ming swore confidently; he couldn’t believe that Lu Yanchuan and Qiao Yi would carry detectors with them. If they actually did, they’d be truly unlucky!
Qiao Xin was skeptical but seeing Lu Ming’s certainty, she reluctantly believed him.
“I’ve told you, if you fail to keep your promise, you won’t get the child or the shares!”
Qiao Xin caressed her bulging belly and threatened Lu Ming with a glare before continuing to focus on the locator, urging the driver to keep up.
For an entire day, the two little red dots on the locator kept changing positions, and by the ti they arrived, the location had changed again.
With the discomfort of a pregnant body and being cooped up in a car for a whole day, not to ntion her frustration, Qiao Xin stepped out of the car pale as a ghost.
“Why bother with all this chasing? It’s just…”
Han Wenle was not Feng Siyu; if Feng Siyu were here, he would have already started taunting Qiao Xin with his acerbic tongue. Although Han Wenle disapproved of Qiao Xin, he just frowned and muttered before turning to enter the hotel.
Qiao Yi had inford Han Wenle of what was inside the package, and what Qiao Xin and Lu Ming had been following for an entire day was not Qiao Yi and Lu Yanchuan at all but a small bag containing a locator and a mobile phone!
