Chapter 539: Chapter 539: The Clue Is Lost

The two of them walked out of the Bai Family house and sat in their car.

Li Tianyi was driving, and after covering so distance, he finally spoke.

A dark bug appeared in i Tian Sha Zi’s hand.

“The bug tracked nearby, and we’ve lost the lead,” i Tian Sha Zi said angrily.

Just when sothing could be uncovered, the trail was cut off.

“If we can’t find anything this ti, we’ll continue next ti. I’ve already had people investigate all the nearby residents, focusing on a few families. We will definitely find the lead.”

i Tian Sha Zi softly acknowledged and put the bug away.

“It’s a pity Wan Sang got away.” Li Tianyi angrily smacked the steering wheel.

i Tian Sha Zi gently grasped his hand with concern: “Tianyi, don’t be angry, it’s all my fault, don’t tornt yourself.”

Li Tianyi remained silent.

i Tian Sha Zi lowered her voice, saying flattering words to please Li Tianyi.

“Tianyi, let’s go see Cheng Yan. He’s taken over that ss, it’s too difficult for him.”

Li Tianyi: “Let’s go see him.”

The two of them changed their route to go to Li Chengyan’s side.

At the Bai Family.

Nan Qiao arrived at the place where Wan Sang was recuperating, on the east side of the house.

“i Tian Sha Zi and Li Tianyi have co, their sudden visit must be related to you.”

Wan Sang was startled and tried to sit up to speak.

“You should lie down.”

Wan Sang laid down, feeling a tremor of fear.

“Do you know i Tian Sha Zi and Li Tianyi?” Nan Qiao asked.

“I haven’t heard of their nas.”

Nan Qiao took out her phone, found photos of i Tian Sha Zi and Li Tianyi, and put them in front of Wan Sang.

“Have you seen them?”

“No, I haven’t seen them.”

Nan Qiao had to give up, maybe Wan Sang truly didn’t know i Tian Sha Zi, or perhaps i Tian Sha Zi and Li Tianyi were cautious in their actions and didn’t reveal their true identities.

“Take good care of yourself, and don’t forget what you said before,” Nan Qiao stood up.

Wan Sang hurriedly pledged: “You saved , and I will repay you like a cow or horse. Wherever you want to go, I will go.”

Nan Qiao nodded satisfactorily, waiting to see how Wan Sang would act.

If Wan Sang didn’t comply, it wouldn’t be up to her!

When Nan Qiao’s gaze fell on her, Wan Sang forced out a smile that was uglier than crying.

Her wound wasn’t healed yet, and she relied on Nan Qiao’s life-saving pills to survive every day.

When she recovered, she would definitely repay Nan Qiao well!

Nan Qiao suddenly sat down again: “Tell what you know again. Looking at how talkative you are, your spirit’s good, so you should be able to continue, right?”

Wan Sang: “…”

She had just forced out those words with all her strength, fearing she would dampen her benefactor’s interest.

But now…

If she didn’t continue, she would be a sinner.

Wan Sang put on a brave face and weakly agreed.

“I can talk, I can really talk…”

Nan Qiao chuckled: “Alright, let’s hear it.”

Wan Sang: Wah wah, I really can’t talk anymore.

The school had established a new dical Club and was recruiting dical talents.

This matter spread both inside and outside the school.

Chen Man was not worried at all; having connections in high places and strong professional knowledge, getting into the dical Club was assured, wasn’t it?

Chen Man walked leisurely on the school path with a milk tea in hand.

Suddenly, a girl approached her head-on and fell onto Chen Man.

Chen Man: !!

Don’t co over!

Chen Man stepped back, and the girl fell to the ground.

Passersby stopped one after another.

It was high ti for lunch, and there were a lot of students.

“This person has fallen!”

“It’s murder!”

“Probably not murder. Look at that girl, she’s scared, her face is white.”

Chen Man forced herself to calm down, crouched down, and started performing CPR on the girl.

She had only theoretical knowledge, no practice. What should she do!

Tears welled up in Chen Man’s eyes, and she suddenly rembered a tip Nan Qiao taught her.

As a result, Chen Man started singing in her mind…

The vast horizon is my love, beneath the lush green mountains, the flowers are blooming. What kind of rhythm is the most swinging…

With the music ringing in her mind, Chen Man’s hand movents gradually stabilized.

Chen Man occasionally blurted out a line of lyrics, allowing those around her to instantly understand.

So…

Everyone sang together, stay awake!

The collapsed girl woke up.

Chen Man wiped her sweat, took a quick heart-saving pill from her bag, and fed it to her.

“Classmate, we bear no grudge, how could you harm ? On such a wide road, you chose to bump into . If you hadn’t woken up, I wouldn’t be able to clear my na!”

This part of the road didn’t have any surveillance caras!

Chen Man was terribly scared.

The girl’s voice was sowhat hoarse: “Thank you.”

Chen Man: “…”

Thank my ass!

She didn’t want to say another word.

At this mont, Nan Qiao arrived at the school.

Seeing such a crowd, she glanced over and just happened to hear Chen Man speaking.

“Has the ambulance arrived? Quick, to the hospital.”

Nan Qiao was startled. When she squeezed through the crowd, she found Chen Man sweating profusely.

“Manman.”

Upon hearing Nan Qiao’s voice, Chen Man felt as if she’d taken a calming shot.

Chen Man clutched Nan Qiao’s arm, feeling sowhat aggrieved: “Qiaoqiao, it’s good that you’re here. With you around, I’m relieved.”

“What’s going on?”

Chen Man recounted what happened.

Nan Qiao squatted down and checked the girl’s pulse.

“You administered the dication promptly; she’s fine now. But we should still take her to the hospital for a check, just to ensure everything is okay.”

“Qiaoqiao, I thought the sa. I wouldn’t want a wrongful death case on my hands.”

Chen Man accompanied Nan Qiao to a classroom the school assigned them to use; it would be the future dical Club.

There were many people who ca for consultation, and Nan Qiao directly put up a notice.

The requirents were very strict, demanding a broad and deep knowledge of dicine.

Not only that, they would select the final ten mbers from these candidates.

Seeing these requirents, Chen Man knew Nan Qiao was serious about it.

Dong Qingqing pouted: “Nan Qiao, your requirents are so strict. What about Chen Man? Doesn’t she need to compete? Surely, having connections makes things easier.”

As soon as Dong Qingqing said this, it seed to open a floodgate, and more people began talking.

“Exactly! Nan Qiao, you can’t play favorites.”

“I have slightly better grades than Chen Man. If Chen Man can join, so can I.”

Chen Man: ???

What, everyone envies her backdoor entry, now they want to seal this backdoor shut!

Chen Man rolled up her sleeves, visibly angry.

“Dong Qingqing, you don’t know the situation and are deliberately stirring things up, look how capable you are!”

Chen Man continued: “Who said I’m a mber of the dical Club! I’m here to inquire about the selection requirents, and I want to compete openly with you all!”

Nan Qiao: What spirit!

Nan Qiao applauded: “Very good, bring out that fighting spirit, I’ll be waiting for you in the dical Club!”

Dong Qingqing looked confused, seeing how capable Chen Man was!

With Chen Man setting an example, the voices questioning Nan Qiao disappeared.

Everyone gradually returned to prepare, all wanting to stand out.

After everyone left, only Chen Man and Nan Qiao remained.

Nan Qiao was just about to praise Chen Man for being strong and powerful, but then saw Chen Man slump down.

“It’s over, it’s completely over now.”
